    Lovely teaching. I'm having a difficult and painful time with the KM front axel. Can you please post a video on this topic?

    You are a life saver. I couldn't figure out the mesh on mine quick google search brought me here and now I have the perfect mesh. I did end up using 3 gaskets in the rear axle and 4 in the front. Thank you so much for this.

    This is a really good instructional. I struggled with the metal drivetrains for my C24 and C44 and they are still slop n jerk. Wish I watched this first, time for me to rebuild!

      Can I ask what colour gears you got, brass or steel?

    • @3Y3ECE
      @3Y3ECE 3 года назад

      @@THYC I've been wondering the same thing. Steel seems to make more sense, brass is so soft... Am I wrong?

    I’ve not had good luck with KM axles and you build tips are much welcomed 🤩👍
    Sourcing longer grubs for the drive shafts is brilliant 🤙

      Some people have been having issues lately with the silver gears, I myself struggled, bit the bullet and got a set of brass gears from the store.
      Thanks bro, the standard grubs on the shafts like to get crudded up, the longer ones are a game changer 😁
      Thanks for tuning in, massively appreciated 🍻

      What colour gears have you got silver or brass?

    • @RC3DPrintAdventure
      @RC3DPrintAdventure 3 года назад +1

      @@THYC I've got the silver gears. It's the metal upgrade kit from WPL. Main problem was the pinion floating about. Your tip will help greatly there.

    • @THYC
      @THYC  3 года назад +1

      @@RC3DPrintAdventure I had issue with the silver ones.
      I don't usually admit defeat, I bite the bullet and got brass ones.
      Theres more meat on the brass ones, they mesh perfectly.
      What kit have you got?
      All models except the 34/44 km kits come with the standard axles too.
      Pinch the brass pinion from those, the brass pinion meshs nice with the silver ring 😁

    • @RC3DPrintAdventure
      @RC3DPrintAdventure 3 года назад

      @@THYC, thanks, it's just the 4x4 metal upgrade kit. Fitting it to a C24. Your tips have given me some ideas about possible ways of calculating shims etc. Otherwise I do have a couple of unstarted kits I may be able to rob the brass gears from as per your suggestion. Thanks again.

    Hello to you, I'm very happy I found your channel. ? For you. I installed it pinion gear as taught. I squeezed the drive shaft and the gear as tight as I could. Lock tighted in place for over an hour. It spins nicely but not butter smooth. Should I do it again?
