Smarties are available in England too. They have something similar to a sweetie pie, but the waffer is a biscuit in the English version. I always throw the biscuit away. Not as good as our Saffa sweetie pie.
I don't know if the smarties in the UK are the same, I know they have Smarties in Canada aswell but they are completely different. Do the smarties you get in the UK say Wot-A-Lot-I-Got (Wotalotigot) on them?
P.S. The Tomato Bigcorn Bites are the best! So many unique things from SA that are so addictive. I personally love a chocolate bar called "Crunchie" which is a honeycomb covered in milk chocolate 😍
Those chomps😱 that was definitely one thing that I ate my whole childhood 😂😂 The rascals are really popular, because there's different flavors. The speckled eggs😍😍😍 Why leave the sweetie pie?? 😳 The chocolate log is really marshmallow😂 it's basically marshmallow fluff😊

We make a peppermint pie... Coconut biscuit base layered with whipped cream, caramel, crumbled peppermint choc, repeat the layers then set in the fridge for a couple if hours. YUMMY!
The funny thing with people trying our snacks is they read the packaging and I'm so used to just stuffing it in my face so even I'm like 'hmmm intresting'🤔😂

It reminded me of when my sister and I would always talk while we were brushing our teeth and knew exactly what the other was saying and had a full on conversation even though we had a mouth full of toothpaste.
You guys seriously need like a bowl of spaghetti to counter act all of that sweetness wowee my teeth hurt watching this while not eating anything. Omg😖😓
My husband loves eating mini eggs with a chewy sweet like a sour cherry type sweet and wished in the UK we did something like that. I think there’s a gap in the market.

Tip 2: The "ouma" rusk should be dip into a hot liquid such as coffee or tea ☕
But it needs milk in the Coffee or tea, black Coffee doesn't do it good, black tea / rooibos tea with no milk can still go, but you need to dunk it!!!
Instructions unclear, the rusk is boiling on the stove 🤣🤣
@@willow5517 lmaoooo
That’s exactly what I was thinking🤦🏼♀️then they only had tea AFTER the rusk🙈

That was what I wanted to say. Also the rusks needs coffee!
Yeah I just made the same comment. It's such a waste to eat a peppermint crisp plain. Haven't done that since was a kid but we always loved it.
