I have one of these and managed to adjust the neck by just removing the pickguard and using a screwdriver. Not ideal I agree, but better than having to loosen the neck screws. I also ended up using some very fine sandpaper on the back of the neck. Feels much better now. Pickups are great on this bass.

I had one. Great sustained, comfortable, nice sound. Sold him. Missed it.
Hey Genson, I think it's ok but I think that there is better out there in that price range.
@ bought Japan Fender Tomomi jazz bass for same price. It’s not worse than Flea.

Hey Belman, thanks for the input. I tried that method on a bass and scraped it up. Pickups are very good and period correct
