You can reset the aggression timer for the flesh crawlers by running through the north and west gates till you see the flesh crawlers disappear and running back inside the room.
Legend
or even get runelite and it sets agression areas on screen so you know exactly where and when to move with a timer also
Theres a rope you can take for a shortcut to reset the aggro. Its between the ladder and crawlers
The flesh crawlers will still be aggresive towards you even at 126 combat.. the double combat rule does not apply to the security monsters on floor 2 and beyond
flesh crawlers and giant spiders will be aggressive regardless how high your level is
Most of the moss boss potential profit is a single members item, so generally a good idea to save the moss keys for when you have members.

btw u can also farm in edgeville dungeon there is skeletons that are agrresive (lvl 25) and zombies (lvl 14)

I pick up the black square shields and mithril swords the moss giants drop to completely fill my inv with something profitable before banking. Not counting the profit from runes, the coin drops and a handful of shields and swords alone will pay for an inv of lobster plus a few K profit.
I am thankful you calculated the hours and coins to get to lvl 99.

Do you get faster exp from the afk method or profit? Debating on spiders or giants
A 1 Defence pure alt with semi-high HP level at the duel arena or white portal is how I train my F2P accounts, would highly recommend it.
YUP...it's by far the best way. You can use wines (or recently apple pies I guess) to train, or if you want to get crazy you can bring alts and alternate while they're banking. Bonus points for using wizard's mind bombs when you're low range/melee stats, as it lowers your defence to 0. Also wear a bax/2h cuz it lowers your range defence to -1, lol.
Great guide! I picked up from playing OSRS after not having played in over a decade and decided to make a new account. I've followed this guide, and as of now am 70 atk,str,and def. I followed the AFK method and it has worked like a charm. As of yestarday I'm lvl 84 with full rune and only been playing a week! However, now that I'm up to the giant spiders, it isn't nearly as easy as the flesh crawlers,as they are hitting me for their max DMG pretty often(7), and honestly gives me anxiety to AFK these. I have already died once,and was wondering if it was at all possible to keep at it with the flesh crawlers, and if so,how much longer? Also I went to farm Ogresses for some extra gold,but the Shamans are simply out of the question,I guess I would need some archer gear for them Because I was in full armor. The ogress warriors tho are farmable.
And was mentioned before, the aggressive timer will reset if you go out of their sight completely,or if you enter another room and get atked by another monster. Both make the AFK method even easier than it already is.
You can stay at flesh crawlers forever. He's wrong about them not being aggressive anymore. You just need to run west every ~10-20 minutes until they're agressive again.
Yeah I just reached 70 in all and I’m having the same problem. I think I’ll just stick to fleshcrawlers until maybe 80 then try again because they have higher hp

Going to moss giants with 40 melee stats isn't good advice. I did it and I spent almost all my profit on food. They are in a multi combat Zone and hit often at 40 defense. at 30 melee, you're better going to hill giants, way better profit than mages and giant key. At 60 melees, going to moss giants is okay. Then ogresses at 80.
curious as a new player at 9:12 how did you store the cow hides? Is there a storage or backpack system?
Is it a good idea to train melee in f2p from 80 to 99 only with body golems?
I just started the game and I'll follow this guide until probably 40 or something. I hope this guide is also efficient with the gold since it is a necessity for new and f2p like me.

Also, I'll take this opportunity to leave a remark about the video. As a 100% new player, I wouldn't be able to understand which armor you equipped for farming the mages down Varrock (ranged set) and also the cape and amulet. I think you have to be more specific with these esp for f2p players who are probably newbies. Thank you anyway!
PS. The dark wizard are too hard because there are level 20s that hit you immediately.

flesh crawlers better than moss giants to 70? or just afk method?
Just wanted to correct one little thing. The training sword and training shield is equal to a bronze sword and wooden shield, not iron equipment.
You can’t be killed by chickens as these are considered a critter, subcategory of beasts. Nonetheless, they can’t harm you.
You don’t have to complete the Corsair Curse quest to access the Orgess, just need to begin the quest.

@@anannoyedpanda tbh, I don’t even know man. Sometimes my heads rambles to much and I need to let it out. I take medicine for it now. I was also a f2p only account at one point in the past and there was a lot of little things I wish I had known after the fact.
Flesh crawlers are so amazing to train range. Heard someone went to 200m range xp there

you can just spam click the doors in the stronghold to bypass the questions. might be the case only once youve completed it though

Should you use the lunge attack for balanced xp? Or one at a time?
You want str and attack to be your highest as they increase your dps
@@Ironfficient I know that but im talking about the attack style. Using slash to get JUST str xp at once or using lunge so you get a little str, att and Def xp at the same time.

How do you make your interface look like that? The menu bar, health bars and the lines around the minimap and combat values. It just looks like RuneScape 2

roughly 83 days man. 166 days at 12 hours a day, 249 days at 6 hours a day.
no, i believe RS3 is different because you get experience for every kill you get. While OSRS you get XP for every hit you get. So i would assume it’s different

I still rather farm Hill Giants. You can profit off all the items, level your attack strength and defense, and you can do prayer leveling too

Why do the giants and spiders all attack me at once when I go into sewers?
Most monsters will attack you if your combat level is less than double their combat level. So for level 42 moss giants, they will attack you until you are 85 combat level
Also if you don't want to do a quest to make 120k an hour, in karamja, going underground in the cave and fighting jogres (not ogres) will do it. They're bones are worth 1k each and they drop ranaar seeds and snap dragon seeds often too. It's super worth going. And the jogres are only level 60.

Hell no 2000+ hours of my life just to get a 99 level, i get that it's f2p but i did some calculation and if you play 2 hours everyday it will take almost 3 years according that you play only runescape and no other game, who has that amount of time to do it, sounds like a game for school dropouts and middle aged man financially supported by his wife.
