    For the alt account, you could make more money using the time it takes to do your research on items, and just kill a consistent money making boss like vorkath, zulrah, or hydra. At least with the bosses, there's a chance you get a rare drop for even more gp. Flipping seems to only be worth it if you're worth with max cash.

    hey bro, question for you.
    i know in a past video you said when expensive items dip quickly they usually bounce back, but ive also heard u say if its looking like an item wont recover just to take a loss and get out of the flip.
    i was flipping the shadow (basically my whole bank -95m) bought for 1488m, and it instantly dropped to the price its at now 1423m, i could use it for toa but then im out 1.4b gp to flip with and stuck with high volume.
    would u hold onto it for a few days and hope it recovers ? or take the loss ?
    ty in advance

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  Год назад +2

      Hey ax, so the concept of “overnight flipping” really means you’re just flipping over a timeframe of 6-12 hours. Your timezone doesn’t play a huge role in this!

  • @AberrantSpectre
    @AberrantSpectre Год назад

    Yo question 4 u. I can make about 2m/hr doing muspah or even farm runs. How much cash stack would I need to make 2m/hr (of active trading, not over-night waiting) by merching?

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  Год назад +2

      This is dependent on how much flipping experience you have and how much risk you’re willing to take. For the average player i’d say somewhere in the range of 100m - 150m is a more than comfortable range

    • @AberrantSpectre
      @AberrantSpectre Год назад

      A few things come to mind, for example I have 96 farming so I get a few more herbs. Snapdragon herbs are very expensive right now. Also I use "Attas" plants to get more herbs which came out in like 2019. add morytania elite diary to that and i actually have 9 herb patches. 330k profit on average per run, and 10 min invested per run = 2m/hr ^-^@@flanderstruck3751

    • @KurseOSRS
      @KurseOSRS Год назад +2

      @flanderstruck3751 there's not really anything new, but with 8 or 9 herb patches, the speed at which you can do herb runs with the insane profitability of them is just good money. You can pretty comfortably do 4.5 minute runs and make 300-400k+ profit per run.

    Question for Scapenomics here as well, I have about 150k gp and want to flip like this, is there a way I can start a decent flow at 150k gp or should I grind more trees for more money first😅

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  Год назад

      You can flip with 150k, but the gains will not be fast! Try flipping cheap, high volume items with big ROIs. A good place to start is by flipping mithril/addy darts!

    • @coffeebot7016
      @coffeebot7016 Год назад +1

      Invest 150k into a simple method like crushing birds nests or making pyre logs. Get at least 10M and then start flipping. 150k is basically nothing.

    • @lexiatel
      @lexiatel 11 месяцев назад

      I started a restricted account, one that can only buy/sell items on a new account. I picked up an inventory of cow drops, headed to get, built my bank on that. It's up to 400k.
      You don't HAVE to have a big stash, but it does work faster/better if you do have a big stash.
      Thing is, when do you start? Start now. Waste no time. Invest your 160k and continue chopping. Why not? You'll maximize your profits.

    late to the vid so not expecting a reply but... flipping to me always seems to risky how can you be sure that the market of an item isn't going to completely tank so an overnight flip doesn't happen then you could be sat on the items for months until the economy bounces back.

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  9 месяцев назад

      Hey xN, good question. The short answer is there is no 100% reliable way to tell.
      That being said, there are “hints” or situations you can look for to reduce this risk. If an item has been uptrending/downtrending (for months), the trend will likely continue. You can look at monthly trends to determine if an overnight will be “safe” or not crash on you.
      Sort of hard to explain in a YT comment, but hope this helps!

    • @KIDPRODIGY69

      He avoided this question cause it is different. He links the one for add rev as they pay him for it, the one he is using is a free one that cost nothing, which is very misleading to those who end up paying for the one he links only for it not to be the one he used in video. I have the link to the one he really used its a tiny bit different as time and updates changed it, however you can still tell its the same if you look close enough. prices.runescape.wiki/osrs

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  Год назад +2

      Jagex has never made a statement on it officially. Considering lots of streamers/content creators openly play multiple accounts at once, I don’t think its a bannable offense.
      You do risk a ban if you trade a large amount of gold to a new account, as that will trigger auto-trigger the anti-cheat system due to thinking you may be selling gold, so warning on that!

    Question for Scapenomics, which would you recommend:
    I have about 160 mil. From your guidelines, I was thinking about doing mostly high-volume items but in one slot, trying out the equipment flipping. Haven't done overnight equipment flipping before. Alternatively, 80 mil would be enough to split between main and alt. (My "main" doesn't do more than runs and flipping anyway) Which would you think is more profitable? Branching out into cheap equipment, or buying extra bonds for an alt?

    • @Scapenomics
      @Scapenomics  Год назад +4

      Hey Barstokians, I would probably focus on one account for now. You have the strategy exactly right though; mostly high volume and 1 slot for larger gear. 160m should spread out comfortably across 8 slots.

    Potato salad is widely believed to have originated in Germany, spreading largely throughout Europe, the United States, and later Asia. American potato salad most likely originated from recipes brought to the U.S. by way of German and other European immigrants during the nineteenth century.
    American-style potato salad is served cold or at room temperature. Ingredients often include mayonnaise or a comparable substitute (such as yogurt or sour cream), herbs, and raw vegetables (such as onion and celery). South German-style potato salad is served warm or at room temperature and is made with a vinaigrette, (rather than a creamy mayonnaise-based dressing), and typically includes bacon. North German potato salad is served cold or at room temperature. It is typically made with mayonnaise, hard-boiled egg and sweet or sour pickles. The American-style potato salad is likely to have originated from this version. Asian-style potato salad is similar to American-style potato salad, but has a sweeter and eggier flavor.

      This is certainly applicable to beginners. Remember; a beginner in this context is to someone who is a beginner to flipping in OSRS, not necessarily a beginner to the game itself.

      It's pretty easy to do after watching several videos. I started with under 1m.
      I'm more of a "play it safe" flipper. I buy things that I can process if it fails and turn it into even more gp. Plus I get to skill something (usually) when I do it.
      For example, if you're p2p, potatoes are cheap. If they fail to sell, bake them, sell them and you'll be raking in the gp.
      I started off in f2p with silver ore.
