Ironforge - Music & Ambience - World of Warcraft

- Carved into the stone heart of Khaz Modan, the mighty city of Ironforge is a testament to the dwarves’ strength and resilience. During the Second War between orcs and humans, many dwarven strongholds fell to the onslaught of the Horde, yet Ironforge was never breached. Now ruled over by the Council of Three Hammers, the city has entered into a tense and potentially violent era. Yet should the council rule with equality and justice, this new period in Ironforge’s history might very well be its greatest.

this made me giggle a lot.
I love it when a dwarven FM says that just as the flight takes off.
@@Blondie42 lmao yes! Me too
Its 2005, after hours traversing the dangerous wilderness between stormwind and ironforge you have managed to make it to the fabled dwarven capital and as you stumble into the great halls the music begins to swell and you are in awe as you are greeted by a massive dwarven statue.
You write in guild chat about your epic adventure, to which someone replies:
"dude, y didnt u take thr tram"
...
"the*"
....
....
"wuts the tram"
Journey before Destination!!!
Lmao I was about to ask you that
lel
"wuts the tram"
100% me when i was still a dumb kid
I was the only Elf among my friends and it took me a long time to finally met them in Ironforge.
Ironforge has always felt so cozy! I love it.
There's a reason I'm rolling a Dwarf when Vanilla drops. ITS ME HOME! ITS WHERE I BELONG!!
@@tennvolsman Same !
Best city imo
@@tennvolsman it was always the home of my night elf druid.
There’s just something about walking in to the taverns from the snow and wind that I love. Especially sitting in a chair next to the fireplaces 😁
I may not play Wow anymore, but Ironforge will always be like home.
back in the day ironforge was the main hub, miss those times
The only AH
"Do we have mining trainers here? Where do ye think ye are?"
19:27 there is is....oh my God that music makes me proud to play a dwarf. An old race of heroes and legends. A land whose history is written in blood, and whose people are hearty and strong. Dwarves are the peak of perfection, you cannot convince me otherwise.
totally agree, this part of the music is truly amazing, beat my soul, eternal memories
A lot of people probably won't know, but at 18:00 this view is of Old Ironforge. In vanilla, this is an area with no entrances or exits beneath the main city. It's a cool spot since the only way to get in is glitching through parts of the map. I did this sometime in like 2006 or 2007, and opened up a GM ticket. The GM teleported me out and said I shouldn't be in there, lol.
isn't that where their Diamond King was stored until he came back to life in Legion?
@@letsplaysvonaja1714 That only happened in Cataclysm. Magni was the King of Ironforge during Classic through Wrath of the Lich King. Right when the Cataclysm happens he tries to use a ritual with TItan stuff from Ulduar that supposedly went wrong and he turned into a diamond statue. Then he came back in Legion, revealed that it actually didn't go wrong it just achieved something unexpected.
40:53 Here we see an Ironforge Guard performing the eons old ritual, the Dwarven Shuffle.
lol, where is this? I don't recognise this part of IF yet this is my virtual homeeee :)
Ah, warms me heart to hear the song o' the mountain.
FER IRONFORGE! BARUK KHAZÂD!
this is what made the world feel alive, everyone in this city selling on the AH, buying and giving ports elsewhere, preparing for raids, checking out some dudes new rare mount of rare armor set, the dueling out front. This is when the game was at its best. Happy to have been apart of it.
Easily the most glorious city in WoW
I remember playing as human coming from stormwind just finally being ready to explore ironforge. The first time I visited was something I’ll never forget. I was mind blown seeing so many midgets with their awesome wolfs and snow. Then all the blacksmiths and lava within the base. I had discovered a whole new world within a game I was always lost in. It feels so real, the memories. I was then killed by a giant bear and got scared and went back to my safe foresty stormwind. Good times.
I'll never forget going to Ironforge for the first time. I wish I could experience it again.
WHY DID I HAVE TO BE BORN TOO LATE TO TRULY EXPERIENCE THIS GAME?!
My older brother played and I would watch him with pure fascination as a tiny child. I finally got my own account when I was 9 but I know I never got to see the same game that my brother did. I love this game but goddamn why couldn’t I have been born ten years earlier????
It's a damn fucking shame how this place hasn't been relevant in almost a decade
The moment I anticipate the most is when classic drops, the first time I step in IronForge. This is going to be... breathtaking.
you're breathtaking
You're right it was
I love this. I paused a second before listening, then saw I couldn't recall what it sounded like. Now I'm hearing it and some other, deeper part of my psyche remembers it. I wonder if music is never forgotten? People with severe dementia miraculously seem to remember music. Man. I suppose it's like dreaming the same dream you had dreamt years ago; even though you had forgotten that dream for years.
Beautifully put, friend.
Although I am staunchy Horde now, my first WoW character was a dwarf. To this day Dun Morogh and Ironforge both have a special place in my heart.
These videos are the absolute best. RUclips keeps suggesting other "related" WoW music channels, but yours are far and beyond better than the others. I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for your dedication and quality of work put into these videos. Thank you!
WoW that whole intro sequence hits so hard. brings me back!
It's a dark cold winter's afternoon. The dwarven military has been battling in The altarec mountains for weeks and finally they are Victorious! They march home and as they approach The Gates of Ironforge, cheering and carrying on with victory cries and as the citizens of Ironforge welcome them home, cheering and clapping with kegs at the ready, this is the Music that is heard across all of Dun Morogh 0:30
I will never forget the first time...
For sure
Love IF, especially during Winter veil. ❤
For Khaz modan!
There’s nothing like listening to this whilst playing Dwarf Fortress, building a vast underground city of one hundred halls and one thousand tunnels, teeming with Dwarves going about their day to day lives, forging metal, digging for gems, carving stone furniture, training for war, brewing alcohol, weaving clothes, and slowly, painfully, agonizingly, driving the FPS down to the single digits whilst you laugh and cry a song of madness and joy.
Coming from the old style of Runescape to WoW for the first time and going through the Deeprun Tram to Ironforge and hearing this music. Sent shivers down my spine. This is the start of something else.
7:30 i love Ironforge
When I played a Horde Troll, I travelled all the way to the area near Ironforge at level 11 to acquire a white bear as a pet. People couldn't believe I had a White bear at low levels and asked where I got it all the time. Later on, no one was amused by it because of snowy areas like Winterspring.
I miss WOW so much... such epic fantasy and amazing story lines.
So come back :)
Even if I am a horde player, I've always loved dwarfs race and their mounts
I always felt super cozy in Iron forge and loved the dwarves starting zone the best out of any other
Alliance cities have the best music. Nourishes the soul. Props to the composers. Has had a huge influence on my orchestral writing.
Carl Powell I prefer the barbaric warmonger music of the horde. LOKTAR OGAR!
I love WoW! I love its music! I love that your Music & Ambience videos are not interrupted by commercials!
Never stop making these, really enjoying them.
Love it. Once again listening to your ambience videos while studying. Thanks alot for the effort you put in.
Your channel is now my home page! Ty so much for these kind of vídeos! Awesome! Keep it up! :)
I wish I could live in Azeroth. Maybe I would be a farmer, just taking care of my cattle, my trees and my fences. Smelling the fresh air every day without hearing the noises of the automoviles, the nightclubs or the yelling of people. I wish I could explore distant lands, meet all kind of joyful folks and experience their way of living.
And then, a gnoll army attacks your crop, and the next day it's the orcs, then the undeads, and the twillight hammer, and then it's the burning legion !
Life's hard as an Azeroth farmer damn
I'm writing a book where there are dwarves and I like to listen to the Ironforge music in order to get my brain in the right headspace.
No one:
Not even the gnomes:
*Dwarf:* Keep your feet on the ground!
HOWARYA?! 🍺
@@Everness1 Interest ye' in a pint?
You’re buying? Sure! 🍻
@@Everness1 What's on yer mind?
Especially funny when the gryphon master says it to you as he sends you flying away.
I never thought it at the time, but the cataclysm music they added is freaking awesome
First time in ironforge was with my gnome mage, late tbc. I remember the small pond where the TCG vendor was, and right beside him two baby murlocks stood by his side. I thought they were awesome and so my kid brain put two and two together and believed that I could fish up those murlocks from the pond. I spent hours fishing and got nothing. Took me a couple of years before I realised it was TCG.
Just leaving this comment here:
Keep up the good work :)
Thank you for your videos.
Crescendo rocket at 29:13
Re-upload? But thanks, because it's time to go back listen to the greatness of Ironforge again
Good work dude keep up your videos
My favourite alliance City! I love the Music in there. Especially the music from Classic Ironforge.
Reminds me of the first minutes of "Finlandia" by Jean Sibelius (1865-1957), but according to Wikipedia he wasn't a Dwarf. Though I'm not an active gamer anymore: For Khaz Modan!
These videos just make me even more excited for classic
this song gives me chills man good times!
This city is one of the main reasons I will play as Alliance in Classic.
I will never forget how I felt when I first entered that city some 15 years ago after months of trying.
(no, I didn't know about The Tram)
I'll never forget being a low-level night elf and having my level 40 friend run me through Wetlands to get the flightpath here. Good times. Screw those crocodiles!
I love so much to come back to Iron Forge and visit again, it always feel like the first time
Lovin your work. Ty ty ty.
Your job are helping me in my work. Thanks
First city I ever visited in WoW. I'll always remember it.
Wow osts are really crazy
Always kept an apartment in IF. No matter the toon, if it was Ally, I ended my day here, in an unoccupied house just off the Temple. It was a nice way to unwind and do guild housekeeping.
always played horde, but ironforge ftw!! definitely need to level a dwarf in classic
On my old server, Durotan, Ironforge is where all the cool kids hung out.
Love it ;) thank you !
Personally, this is the best gaming soundtrack of all time.
- AOE..epic
- EOS..special
- IRONFORGE..eternity
Ironforge is my favorite home city in wow, music rocks , layout is solid, bast damn forge around, great outdoor scenery, hosts brewfest for the alliance......you know if it wasn't for Stormwind having the trading post and the transmog spot I dont think id have a reason to go anywhere but Ironforge in between quests!
That opening bit would sound great with a live orchestra!
This is so PERFECT for D&D!!
Getting ready for Classic with music and ambiance from classic zones and places? Don't mind if I do!
Thank you so much for all the Gold 🪙 you are forging here Everness! 🥲😌
fish in ironforge. i still pity every horde player who has to get to that tiny pond.
I never heard of you (not being a gamer) until this past year. I think you can thank Dulcefoe channel, with all his Q videos and the folks who do official military and DJT admin videos, for many of your new fans. Nothing fits all their videos like your gorgeous music. I'm hooked. Can't figure out how the music relates to a game; just glad to have all these to listen to.
The songs on this video play in the game world of warcraft, when you are in the city of ironforge, which is the dwarven city. and gnomes live there too, because of that accident in gnomeregan. All of these play when there is no battle, and you are hanging around in the city. minding your own business like checking the auction house, fish in that pond, process ore, craft some armor,, or talk to some quest npc.
the best citymusic in wow
I miss you, old WoW. For the Alliance!
Ironforge intro is my fave. 22:02
Reminds me of FF though lol.
Great video. I’d love to peruse that library at 42:00!
amazing, glorious
8:20 omg i love it
Their intro theme is, the best of all capitals. Gotta admit
以前聽到鐵爐堡的音樂時,覺得讚。0:00.1:50
Everness, may i suggest to make a video about blasted lands, especially tainted forest music. Couldn't find it anywhere.
This is gonna sound a bit convoluted but check this out: a year ago or so someone asked me specifically about the music playing in the marshy Gilneas-y part of Blasted Lands. After checking it out I came to the conclusion that even though I have all music files from the game exported and cataloged on my drive, the tracks playing in that forest weren't part of my library. After looking into it further I found out that the tracks in question were variations of "Azshara" theme composed by Neal Acree for the post-Cataclysm Azhshara zone. There are only two Azshara tracks among the game files. There are four variations playing in the game, and all four of them differ from the files I have. No idea how it happened. The library I'm using (or the file used for extracting stuff from the game, more precisely) is the same used by pretty much all other websites or RUclips channels or anyone else, so it's not the case of me missing something. This continues to be a mystery.

Pure nostalgia
The Blizzard we knew may be dead and gone, but our memories and experiences with Warcraft will last forever. Truly one of the greatest games ever made.
innnnniitttt
6:20 "Ironforge 1" no other piece of music have had transmitted me such sensation of power
nothing like getting that epic mount and posting up on that bridge
Impressive moment when i entered Ironforge for the first time
The center forge area is certainly in OSHA safety violation
Good ol Lagforge 😍😂 those were the days
ah, after running through the cold dun morogh, you reach iron forge for the first time. After fighting monsters in the cold for hours on end you finally arrive to the safe, warm, relaxing place called “Iron Forge”
This is what home sounds like.
Reforged Ironforge!
No place like home!
Ironforge is my favourite city
Why did you remove the older Iron Forge video?
IF felt like we were actually the heroes. We played according to our personalities.
Miss when iron forge was even more popular than todays cities
WELL MET
My only complaint is the inclusion of the Tinkertown tracks, which I understand why they were, but it interrupts the epic dwarven vibe this otherwise gives.
Main you gotta be nice to the gnomes, they have no home 😢
cool
Hey Everness is there a chance u can do Music & Ambience of Lord of the Rings Online?
anyone else hear the beeping like a dump truck is reversing? IF must be under heavy construction at all times :D
