In this video, I analyze Tory’s character arc this season and speak on her decision late in the season to rejoin Cobra Kai. Nothing wrong with that (not the happiest over it buttt it is what it is 🤣) BUT this theory I cooked up is more problematic than anything really 🥴. We all should know this deep into the series that Kreese will go to ANY LENGTH to get the dub, that’s all ima say!

Kreese definitely killed tory's mom. The show basically shoves the evidence in your face. #1 soon after kreese tries to recruit tory her mom dies. That's one hell of a coincidence. #2 the doctor herself said tory's mom was recovering and she dies. Yet another huge coinincidence. #3 kreese just happens to run into tory again after her mom dies to recruit her again. Their are just to many coincidences for it to be chance.
Yeah I didn’t even mention the fact that her doctors said her mom was in GREAT health as long as she kept up with the prescriptions she was taking .. idk man, everything aligning and Kreese guilty as hell 😂💯
I am with you that Grace Nichols was killed and didnt die on natural causes, but my prime suspect isnt Kreese but Kim Daeun. I could imagine she was with Kreese in the USA, and she still wanted to give Tory a payback for betraying her. Killing her mom would be the ultimate punishment. And its very strange that there exist a deleted clip from season 5 when Tory tells Daeun about her sick mother. Tory said he mom was the reason why she couldnt fight Samantha, and Daeun with ice-cold eyes said: _"Mother???!!!! You are here to train!"_ . This underlines how cold Daeun is and she didnt care about Grace, she saw her only as obstacle. Ask yourself why this scene was not shown in the final cut? Maybe because of that, that Daeun killed Grace and so not many ppl dont know the fact that Daeun knew Grace or about her existence.

Yes its still here on YT, go for "must-see cobra kai season 5 deleted scenes" and you gonna find it, the preview foto shows Daeun with Tory and Devon, the dialoge is about the 1 minute mark. And you know what is strange too? Its uploaded by the official C.K. channel. I tried to post this suspicion multiple times in the comment section, I mean that Daeun is my prime suspect for killing Grace Nichols if she was killed, but my comment is only visible for myself, not for others. You can only see it when you are logged in with my account. So it could be the people who protect the comment section dont want this to be posted there...maybe because its true?

Yes. And there was a thundering sound when the fist was shown. Remember the founder of _The Karate Kid_ saga Robert Mark Kamen also wrote 2001 the movie _Kiss of the Dragon_ , starring Jet Li and Bridget Fonda. And The Kiss of the Dragon has nothing to do with a kiss or a dragon, its the name of a killing technique with an acupuncture needle in the back of the neck. I wouldnt be suprised in the end if The Way of the Fist is not the name of Kim Sunyungs fighting style, thats Cobra Kai, but the name of a killing technique too, that lead to aneurysma and blood clots, and the victims clinches its fist in the moment of dying because of a cramp. That would be the signature for Robert Mark Kamen.
Unless it represented her holding the bottle cap, which was in the personal belongings bag Tory was given. Although the fact that dark looming music was used leaves me skeptical on it.

I agree. Unfortunately, I don’t think we get much on him moving forward since we’re so close to the end but her family in general is something I’ve always been curious about
@@JaySuaveEnt Daniel gound secrets of miygi karate but the master his karate he has to figure out how to learn the defense to the offense he discovers in the scrolls becuase the scrolls are all the offense skills in karate and the team they compete again already has those skills the only way to beat them is to get down or figure out how the do offense that is why he keep’s tying in a fight with the best martial artist
While Johnny is technically right that it was Tory's choice on whether she should continue or not BUT Daniel was in the right to stop the fight and that's that. You have to look at this with context in the fight and what we know about Tory. Tory struck Sam once to score a point and then another just cause of what happened, that second kick was an overkill. Then, it looked like Tory was about to push/punch Sam of the platform. Also, we all know what Tory is capable of. That doesn't mean that she is evil but that she only knows how to deal with emotions by fighting. This would not be fair to Sam for Tory to take out all of her anger on her, especially if there was a strong chance something could've happened to Sam. If Tory did not have a history of violence and aggression, and if she did NOT show signs of severe damage towards Sam then I would be on Johnny's side here. All people could say during the school fight was where the adults at to stop the fight and now that an adult stopped a fight from potentially getting out of hand, that was the wrong move?
Speaking of Johnny, he is also not the right person to be telling anyone to fight it out. That is all Johnny knows how to do when dealing with difficult or even inconvenient situations... oh and he drinks his problems away too. What did Johnny do in the season 3 premiere when some random guy at the bar insulted Miguel? he went out of his way to pick fight with him instead of leaving. What was Johnny instinctively going to do when the realtor insulted him and his family? he was going to pick a fight and only didn't because of Chozen. Had Johnny learned how to deal with his emotions the right way, Robby would have grown up with a father.
I appreciate this perspective and breakdown of it. You’re right about Johnny not being the BEST when it comes to dealing with his emotions, even seeing examples of that in this season. I’ve since dialed it back on my initial position of it should be Tory’s choice because in that moment, the fight was further fueling her rage and it isn’t right for Sam to be on the backend of that. She coulda beat on a punching bag if she needed to blow off steam and I also don’t think Daniel was entirely wrong for stopping the fight after understanding Tory’s situation; I just stated I didn’t agree previously.
With that said, the ONLY legitimate reason I’d have the fight continue now with hindsight was if Sam was 1000% behind keeping it going, which she wasn’t. So ultimately her leaving Miyagi Do wasn’t a positive, but it couldn’t be helped. I understand her frustration but not at the cost of Sam’s wellbeing.
