I think Chozan comes back from Okinawa for the Seiki Taiki tournament to tell Daniel and Johnny that Mr. Miyagi, Sato and Master Kim competed in the tournament before and Kim lost by cheating. Sato and Miyagi were tied and that angers Kim. That's why Sato and Miyagi's karate are about honor and respect, and Kim's all about winning at any cause.
i think that will be close and i think there will be something that will tie in Miyagi to that first time he saw Cobra Kai in the dojo. Some kinda memory and thats why he was willing to take on Cobra Kai to start with. I'm also going to guess this tournament was a lot different and more underground in Miyagis day.. It should be to match history.
Honestly I was a bit shocked and slightly disappointed and saddened that Tory rejoined Cobra Kai. I mean based on what happens at the end of part 1, I can understand why she did rejoin, but she was on the right track, she made amends with Sam and she finally felt at peace and had a home, family and friends with Miyagi-Do. Honestly I hope by the end of the series, Tory comes back to her senses and rejoins Miyagi-Do and is done with Cobra Kai for good. I definitely want to see her and Sam become friends again. P.s. Peyton List’s acting was on point in part one (especially her outburst at the hospital and Miyagi-Do dojo) and I’m looking forward to seeing her excellent acting in parts 2 & 3.

I'm not too surprised, but it was strange how it happened. I feel like we should have more scenes with Kreese leading up to Tori's knee-jerk decision. I think it's possible that Kreese had something to do with Tori's Mom's death. And, I wonder if Stingray and/or Silver will return?
The way of punching that Miyagi teaches Daniel in KK1 is quite traditional in karate. But perhaps his boxing stage can explain the good head movement he had when dodging blows. Head movement is essential in boxing and at the time could have improved Miyagi's defense

@@StryfetheWarrior Ironiclally enough, Miyagi-do karate is best mixed with Soviet/Russian School of boxing. Bladed stance, long guard for parrying incoming strikes, heavy emphasis on movement and staying out of reach and great use of straight punches (jabs and crosses)

For real. It also really irritated me that everyone except Johnny was trying to tell her what she needs to do. Everyone has their ways of dealing with stuff and if they would have let her fight it out not only would she be on the good side but also better off mentally. I reckon similar to how Mike Barnes overpowered Daniel with fear, Kwon may do something like that to either Robby or Miguel and just like how Mr Miyagi helped bring Daniel back to focus and beat Barnes, perhaps Johnny or Daniel will inspire Robby or Miguel to do the same and win

The other female fighter for Cobra Kai looks to be played by Alex Wong. She’s a very popular martial artists content creator who is a long time taekwondo practitioner and she revealed on her Instagram that she was a stunt double for Devon Lee for season 6.
With Anthony & Kenny I think Mike stepping in as mentor to them would be interesting. Kenny is used to hard training but needs someone who's still struggling with his past self as a mentor, while Anthony could use a firm hand & someone who isn't afraid to push people. Maybe throw Stingray in to help Mike sort out a fight between the two...if nothing else for the comedy
My theory of Miyagi once fighting in the Seikai Taikai proved correct. My next guess is that irregardless of the results of the tournament, Julie Pierce will be instrumental in helping the girls resolve their issue's and perhaps guide Torry through the loss of her mother as she once suffered.
Maybe she fights out her grief and Daniel welcomes her back or one of the cobra Kai’s does something dirty to Robby or Sam. Making her turn on Kreese once and for all
Or maybe perhaps she can be the answer to why Cobra Kai needs to change. Cause at the end of the day, people see Cobra Kai as a dojo, but not for it's lessons. If Tory can show the world that Cobra Kai can be cool and badass if people treated each other fairly, but due to folks like the Kims, Kreese and Silver, it's why it's viewed badly upon others. Since at the end up the day, the Kims, Kreese and Silver are making the students into a pyramid, with them placing themselves on top.
I think Devon will come clean about her cheating and Kenny will join miyagi do, I also think that Demetri will get beat up by Kwon or someone like that outside of the tournament and Tory will rejoin Miaygi Do. I also don’t think that Tory will not cause many problems with miyagi do, she will just be apart of team cobra Kai.
I’m still standing behind my theory. The Myagi secret that is bugging Daniel is going to be solved by the only person left who still had a connection with Mr Miyagi. This is Julie. This would be a great opportunity for her to make her cameo. It would also take one episode to do it.
I don't think Tory is going to switch back to Miyagi-Do during the tournament but rather help them by sabotaging Cobra Kai if the theories about Kreese killing her mom are true. On the other hand, if Kenny stayed at Miyagi-Do despite getting humiliated and Devon confesses that she put the laxative in his drink, Devon could step down so Kenny takes her spot.
Seeing how her character operates, she’ll step down when she finally sees she’s not cut out for the Sekai Taikai. I hope she get her azz handed to her. Barnes knew exactly who was cut and who wasn’t.

Yk, something that I think doesn’t often gets talked about is that if Tory’s character parallels anyone in the OG KK movies, it is Chozen. From the jump, when they both meet the opposition, Daniel and Sam, they immediately shun them for who they are. Chozen shuns Daniel for being a foreigner and Tory shuns Sam for being privileged/accuses of stealing. They both also naturally never backed down and have a competitive nature. They both also hate their opposition for romantic reasons, (as we figured out it S5) Kumiko and Miguel. But despite their competitive and often times, aggressive nature, they also had a sense of morals internally. Chozen always references that he would rather be dead before dishonorable. With Tory, she was taught to be hard working and earn things bc she is a has had to see her mom do it her whole life similar to how Chozen witness his uncle ingrained being honorable his whole life. We see this even more in S5 when Chozen enter Cobra Kai and talks to Tory and even though they barely knew one another, what he said stuck to Tory a lot. In conclusion, Tory and Chozen resemble one another the most. Even after this season and making amends with former oppositions, they both have their aggressive nature and morals to guide them in fights Sorry for the long rant but I was just glad that someone acknowledges what I have been seeing.
I am becoming more invested in learning Mr. Miyagi's participation in the Sekai Taikai and why there is blood on his headband. This could be the answer why Mr. Miyagi doesn't like to use karate for winning trophies and I think it has something to do with Kim Sun-Yung when both of them entered the tournament. I believe that the Sekai Taikai that Mr. Miyagi and Master Kim participated was somewhere between the aftermath of World War 2 and prior to the Korean War. After receiving the medal of honor, Mr. Miyagi was invited to enter the Sekai Taikai and also at the same time, Kim Sun-Yung was the relatively unaffiliated fighter. Both of them made all way up to the final match where they fought and tied up the scores until Kim attempted to strike a deadly move but Miyagi was able to see right through the deception and won fair and square. Immediately after receiving the trophy, Kim refuses to acknowledge that he lost and insulted Miyagi in front of the entire audience by challenging him to a fight to the death to see which style is better. It got to a point where Kim critically injured Miyagi that it was where the blood was placed on his headband. Ever since that day, Mr. Miyagi does not want anyone to enter tournaments ever again because they don't want him to end up like him. Sato is immediately disgusted of Kim's actions during the Sekai Taikai that he actively opposes Kim not just because of his controversial style of teaching soldiers but Sato is willing to go even further by his dedication to defend his best friend's honor.
Anthony may not be a character I like THAT much and he did still come off whiny a bit this season (particularly when he was eliminated by Kenny in the competition) But he doesn’t deserve to be blamed for something he didn’t do Talking about Devon helping Kenny believe Anthony was the one who sabotaged him when it was her The little sociopath
Honestly I wish demetri went down Devon's path, because he could easily take her and beat her and we wouldn't need to see him become like Hawk. So the big 6 (Robby,Miguel, Hawk, Demetri and Sam and Kenny), could all get qualification since Tory left, that's the best squad.

There was always a big mystery about her (Tori's) mom, they always just showed her in the background in bed slightly blurred so you couldn't make out her features or sometimes they would even just show her foot at the end of the bed.... I'm hoping they don't go with Kreese is Tori's grandpa... Or she's Dutch's daughter . Like maybe the mom was with Dutch as it kind of makes sense about that speech she was giving little Tori about how they are Fighters. Maybe Dutch is in prison because he beat the crap out of Tori's mom. Maybe the two of them (Dutch and the Mom) would get into fist fights
I think what should be noted is Martin Kove said Kreese in part 2 will face “hardships” with Terry Silver. Meaning It’s very likely Terry Silver will come back.
During the Sekai Taiki arc, Miyagi Do will lose two fighters, Demetri is the most expendable of the group and is becoming a bit too conceited, thus it is possible that he will get harmed to demonstrate how dangerous the competition is. This will probably result from Korean fighters of Cobra Kai or other rival competitors attacking him. Given that Devon entered the tournament by deceit, she will forfeit out of guilt over time . Daniel and Johnny will eventually have to give Kenny the spot he rightfully earned as a result of these actions and call Anthony in as a backup for Demetri. Anthony and Kenny will fight back in the Valley, as Kenny still thinks Anthony set him up. Thus, in order to defend himself, Anthony will use the forbidden Miyagi scroll from S4. This fight will help them get past their differences and provide them with closure at last.
She will not only forfeit out of guilt, but will due to seeing how much of her horrible performance is hurting the team. She needs to be humbled by one of the other competitors.
Interesting theories. But when Kenny fights Anthony because of Devon's trickery, the young LaRusso hits his head and lies unconscious. Fearing the worse, Kenny runs away seeking help. But a newly released Terry Silver, who initially wanted to speak with his former student and watches their fight from a hidden vantage point, picks up the unconscious Anthony, puts him in his car, and drives away. When Kenny returns with the police and the ambulance, Anthony is nowhere to be found.

I practiced Karate (Traditional Okinawan) for 10+ years, and hip rotation is absolutely a fundamental when throwing a punch or almost any technique. Also another thing I'd like to mention is that the Hikitei (ready hand) or in other words the hand that is pulled back to their side, has the palm face up, and is the punch is about to hit. We then rotate our wrist so it then is palm down, which provides torque and more impact. Think like a drill. Gross motor movements by having your shoulder follow your punch is typically bad and not proper technique. We drive our punches by pushing off our back foot, in a proper stance, followed by your hips, then the shoulder, and finally your fist. It might not seem like it, when most fights are taken in a more informal boxing like stances, but you'll see it if you look up Kata (Kah-Tuh is how it is pronounced) On youtube.

The Kata you see Daniel use against Mike Barnes in Part 3 is actually something I learned and practiced at our Dojo. So I always get a sense of pride. Well at least for the most part. All the actors who do that form are very stiff. lol.
Terry Silver's omission from the first part was a huge takeaway for me. He really elevated the last two seasons and the other villains simply don't have the presence he possesses. I'm sure he will pop in during pts II or III and give the series a boost once more.
Thomas definitely does a good job as Silver. I do think though writing wise that's because there were some hints in Seasons 1 and 2 that help build up to him. Daniel banning Cobra Kai, for instance, was ultimately because of Silver.
After seeing Master Kim Sun Yeung I kinda want to see a prequel or some revelation that Mr Miyagi had competed and likely beat Master Kim in Sekai Taikai

My opinion. In Part 2. Devon will have a lot of explaining to do and lot of damage control. In this season, her desire to earn her spot in Sekai Taikai totally clouded her judgement 1) Although at full, she is also partly responsible for collaborating with Johnny in trying to drive a conflict between Sam and Tory by hosting a slumber party, which failed 2) now she is trying to exacerbate Kenny and Anthony’s conflict when she puts laxative in Kenny’s water: All of this could really play as the collateral damage that could be the total gradual undoing of Miyagi Do and relationships of the cast. That's why I say Devon will have lots of damage needed to control
I kind of think that terry will be a problem for the kids back at the valley and Mike Barnes while the others are at the sekai tai Kai as there should be at least one episode in part 2 or 3 that has something happen there

Tory rejoined Cobra Kai to reunite with Kreese one last time, and something bad happens to Kreese, that is rumored to happen, Tory is coming back to Miyagi-Do and that’s why she went back with Kreese because it’s called Cobra Kai and he owns the dojo and Kreese dies in Season 6 which he faked his death in Season 5
I don't think Tory will return to Miyagi Do during the Tournament, She's set on winning the Tournament to honor her Mother plus we still need that final Match between Sam and Tory.
@@Deity_devil , yeah. Because she's the main character, they probably would have Sam to win. I kind of wish more sports movies would allow for the climax to see the main character lose more, as there are more things to life than winning. It's why people loved the 1st Rocky, Friday Night Lights (Granted, that was based in real life), the 1st Cars, and A League of Their Own. It would also allow Tory to truly fight her own way, and even maybe call out Cobra Kai.
I expect Chozen to Marry Kumiko, with Daniel as the best man, Yuna as the made of honor...and the wedding song will be "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera. ❤🔥 (I believe that the episode about Mr. Miyagi's "love letters" foreshadow these events.
Kumiko confesses to Chozen her longtime secret about giving birth to Daniel's love child after the events of KK2 many years ago. And it turns out to be KWON. 😮
The thing that pisses me off is that not one person from Miyagi-Do went to check on Tory once after she stormed off, not even Robby. They casually gave Hawk her place. They only found out she joined Cobra Kai and went all the way to Korea when they saw her in Barcelona. And Daniel was right to call the fight off but at least let someone get the point and not call it off mid fight when you’re not even the ref.

My ideas: -Tory either looses or wins against Sam but is unable to deliver an injury-inducing blow, being scolded by Kreese -Kwoon cheats and somehow demolishes Miguel, possibly causing an injury. Seeing Robby, Sam, Johnny and Daniel care for Miguel snaps Tory back into the only real firends she ever had -enraged by what was done to Miguel and finally not having him in his way to number one, Robby mixes Cobra Kai and Myagi-Do to manhandle Kwoon and get 1st place overall -Devon is found to be cheating and Tory takes her place, fighting some other female athlete from CK or another dojo and enraging Kim-Da-Eun. Tory can't handle the sensei fully by herself but is helped by Sam and gets her comeuppance on Kim. -Either Kreese himself tries some cheat, Silver or a third party crashes the tournament, sending it into and all-out brawl like many we've seen throughout the show -if not showing up at the Sekai Takai, Silver shows up at the States to cause some havok, gets his plans foiled by the kids that stayed home, possibly led by Amanda's resourcefulness. -Now this is way out there but hear me out: Miguel DEFEATS Kreese. Like, HARD, possibly with Johnny by his side or even by himself. This would finalize his arc, his story dealing with injuries, superexpose a theme of the whole universe of surpassing unspeakable odds and finally establish Miguel and by extent the main cast as fully grown, functional adults. Perfect send-off to the series and leaving the potential open for spin-offs and future projects like a student of the Dojo becoming a master...
I’m surprised you didn’t theorize about Julie Pierce. I think the briefcase is a segue to her. Daniel either knows her through something like Miyagi‘s funeral, or researches and finds out about her, and he wants answers so he contacts her. The reference to the name he was given in the next karate kid might be planting the seeds
about ur Tory returning to miyagi do theory, I genuinely think it will happen. As Kreese always brings people to take out their anger on the enemy as I think he will hint to Tory about her moms death and tell her about it which will cause her to turn her back away from cobra Kai and return to miyagi do fulfilling her and Robby’s promise
A few things 1st this should be 20 episodes, 2nd the remaining team mates should still compete in the all valley, 3 I hope they find away to incorporate bobby and dutch storylines, 4 mike barnes origins and his storyline with silver, 5 it would be cool if chozen coach his dojo from japan
There was an audio on a different trailer showing them opening the box that had Chozen saying something about Miyagi leaving behind to Daniel the secret of Miyagi Do. But I didn't see that in the episode. So maybe the audio is from somewhere else. Chozen will find the secret and tell Daniel and Johnny.
Plot twist: Kyler walks on the Sekai Taikai mat. "Yes, I am Master Kim's great-grandson and #1 student. Yes, I was sent to America to spy on Miyagi Do because it's that dramatic. Yes, I'm going to Seoul National University in the Fall. Yes, I'm a business owner of Kyler & Kwon Financial Group and a proud sponsor of the Sekai Taikai. In the last Board meeting, I voted for a Kumite mat after watching Bloodsport at the drive-in theater. What is it? Don't act so surprised! I am Korean. When have you ever seen my family in 5⅓ seasons of Cobra Kai? I wasn't even in season 2. I went back to Seoul."
I think Chozen is going to be the one to finally get through to Daniel about his issues with Mr. Miyagi‘s past. And through that Daniel will make amends with Johnny and the two will hopefully finally get on the same page, I was disappointed with how the end turned out with the two of them, technically on outs I am glad they’re not going their separate ways.
I have a theory about who will fight/beat Kwon. There’s no doubt Kwon will advance quickly in the Sekai Telkai. I think Robby will be the first to face Kwon. I can see Kwon taunting Robby about Tori. Kwon would most likely know this information from Kreese and it would make sense as Kreese taught Kwon to be heartless. Robby would be furious and start to fight Kwon with pure rage. He would get great hits on Kwon but ultimately Kwon would use Robby’s anger against him and beat him. Then I can see Miguel stepping in to fight. Miguel would realize that he needs to fight with no emotion, just focus. Miguel would most likely win. Or I can even see Robby and Miguel fighting Kwon outside of the tournament. Maybe Robby goes to Cobra Kai to try to convince Tori to come back to Miyagi Do and Kwon steps up to him and tells him to back off. They would fight. Robby would soon realize Kwon is too skilled of a fighter and that’s when Miguel would jump in for a classic 2v1! I think I would prefer seeing that instead becuz Kwon is a BEAST.

I think with Kim Yung Sung there is more animus as maybe Sato had nothing to do with it, but Imperial Japan did commit significant atrocities in Korea and China during WWII. Maybe Kim had a daughter that was made a comfort woman.
robby will give the captain position to miguel, because he lose his focus since tory joined cobra kai again, the final battle is between miguel and kwon.. and for mr. miyagi he might be the master of mr.han from china and together they joined the sekai taikai and julie pierce will clear all the mysteries.
Julie is likely to take on Kim Da Un, perhaps her character was created with the hopes that Hilary Swank would reprise the role of Julie Pierce. I could see a showdown between Chosen and Master Kim with Chosen using techniques learned from Barnes.
I think Robby and Miguel will be in a 2v2 match and also the captain won’t participate in every fight which means others might have to wear the headband and play a role as the captain for those initial fights.
I know doctors can be wrong. They're not! infallible. However it would be a great twist, if it's revealed that Tory's mom was murdered. And her murderer is Kreese. Another thing I felt Payton was a good actress before, but after seeing Payton's scenes after Tory found her mom laying on the floor Wow. That was her best acting in the series. You really felt like she just lost her mom. You could see and feel her pain.
I wonder what he'd have done to make it seem like a blood clout. Especially since the scene makes it seems like her mom was fighting, with her fist being closed.
I have a prediction that Robby goes to Tory’s hotel room a day before the finals to convince her to leave cobra Kai and kwon is there and other korean students and jump him which leaves Miguel fighting in Robby’s place my other theory is that kwon gets so cocky that he wants to fight Miguel and Robby at the same time and they win
Pretty good so far, but I just feel like we've seen all this kind of stuff before from the show which is why I'm glad this is the final season. Hell season 5 should have been the end of the show but I digress..
Honestly hated what they did with Devon because I just felt that it was weird pick because I feel like Kenny had a bigger impact through out the seasons that him and Devon were in. After season 5 I felt more intrigued about what was going to happen with Kenny rather than Devon and her complaining about not getting seen just to cheat her way in felt so stupid but I do believe there will be a bigger payoff to all of this in the following parts so I am more open to her joining the team knowing that a lot more will be shown and proven in the next parts
I feel like if anyone would know this, it would be Sato. Sato was the only who even heard of Master Kim but I find it hard to believe that Sato knew Master Kim but Miyagi didn’t.
Crazy theory here about Terry silver in part 2. Somehow he'll be out of jail with all charges dropped and he will show up at the tournament with a whole new dojo called Quicksilver karate, wearing silver gis led by Kenny.
I feel like Kenny is going to be the final member in cobra kai. I just think out of anger he went back an joined them, he gets angry easily and just seems like it would make sense for him to go back.
Just thought about something if miyagi competed in sekai taiki did he win or lose cuse I could imagine a former competitor who lost to him who has a grudge against them and passed down there skills to a dojo that now is competing where they would try to intimate miyagi fang it wouldn’t be that crazy to believe

Yet at miagi do the one coach seems to heavily favor his kid. That is Not ok. It should be fair. My dad was the head coach on my old ski and snowboard team and yet out of anyone on the team i was pushed the hardest. There were times i was pushed so hard i literally fainted due to over exertion. My dad got scolded heavily by the ski patrol for allowing that to happen and that he needs to not push me as hard if this continues to happen.
So far, this season has required an inordinate amount of willing suspension of disablief, right down to the quasi supernatural "magic snake" in the cave. How the hell did Kreese evade the authorities enough to slip back and forth from the US to S. Korea at least twice? Does he have a passport? Why did no one put two and two together that Kenny was slipped the other kid's laxatives, regardless of who did the sabotage? The dude flat out stated that the medicine was missing, doesn't exactly require a Sherlock to figure it out. Lots of stuff like that.

I think Chozan comes back from Okinawa for the Seiki Taiki tournament to tell Daniel and Johnny that Mr. Miyagi, Sato and Master Kim competed in the tournament before and Kim lost by cheating. Sato and Miyagi were tied and that angers Kim. That's why Sato and Miyagi's karate are about honor and respect, and Kim's all about winning at any cause.

Honestly I was a bit shocked and slightly disappointed and saddened that Tory rejoined Cobra Kai. I mean based on what happens at the end of part 1, I can understand why she did rejoin, but she was on the right track, she made amends with Sam and she finally felt at peace and had a home, family and friends with Miyagi-Do. Honestly I hope by the end of the series, Tory comes back to her senses and rejoins Miyagi-Do and is done with Cobra Kai for good. I definitely want to see her and Sam become friends again.
P.s. Peyton List’s acting was on point in part one (especially her outburst at the hospital and Miyagi-Do dojo) and I’m looking forward to seeing her excellent acting in parts 2 & 3.

The way of punching that Miyagi teaches Daniel in KK1 is quite traditional in karate. But perhaps his boxing stage can explain the good head movement he had when dodging blows. Head movement is essential in boxing and at the time could have improved Miyagi's defense

Kenny is used to hard training but needs someone who's still struggling with his past self as a mentor, while Anthony could use a firm hand & someone who isn't afraid to push people. My theory of Miyagi once fighting in the Seikai Taikai proved correct. My next guess is that irregardless of the results of the tournament, Julie Pierce will be instrumental in helping the girls resolve their issue's and perhaps guide Torry through the loss of her mother as she once suffered.

If Tory can show the world that Cobra Kai can be cool and badass if people treated each other fairly, but due to folks like the Kims, Kreese and Silver, it's why it's viewed badly upon others.

I don't think Tory is going to switch back to Miyagi-Do during the tournament but rather help them by sabotaging Cobra Kai if the theories about Kreese killing her mom are true. On the other hand, if Kenny stayed at Miyagi-Do despite getting humiliated and Devon confesses that she put the laxative in his drink, Devon could step down so Kenny takes her spot.
Seeing how her character operates, she’ll step down when she finally sees she’s not cut out for the Sekai Taikai. I hope she get her azz handed to her. Barnes knew exactly who was cut and who wasn’t.

Yk, something that I think doesn’t often gets talked about is that if Tory’s character parallels anyone in the OG KK movies, it is Chozen. From the jump, when they both meet the opposition, Daniel and Sam, they immediately shun them for who they are. Chozen shuns Daniel for being a foreigner and Tory shuns Sam for being privileged/accuses of stealing. They both also naturally never backed down and have a competitive nature. They both also hate their opposition for romantic reasons, (as we figured out it S5) Kumiko and Miguel. But despite their competitive and often times, aggressive nature, they also had a sense of morals internally. Chozen always references that he would rather be dead before dishonorable. With Tory, she was taught to be hard working and earn things bc she is a has had to see her mom do it her whole life similar to how Chozen witness his uncle ingrained being honorable his whole life. We see this even more in S5 when Chozen enter Cobra Kai and talks to Tory and even though they barely knew one another, what he said stuck to Tory a lot. In conclusion, Tory and Chozen resemble one another the most. Even after this season and making amends with former oppositions, they both have their aggressive nature and morals to guide them in fights

I am becoming more invested in learning Mr. Miyagi's participation in the Sekai Taikai and why there is blood on his headband.
This could be the answer why Mr. Miyagi doesn't like to use karate for winning trophies and I think it has something to do with Kim Sun-Yung when both of them entered the tournament.
I believe that the Sekai Taikai that Mr. Miyagi and Master Kim participated was somewhere between the aftermath of World War 2 and prior to the Korean War.
After receiving the medal of honor, Mr. Miyagi was invited to enter the Sekai Taikai and also at the same time, Kim Sun-Yung was the relatively unaffiliated fighter. Both of them made all way up to the final match where they fought and tied up the scores until Kim attempted to strike a deadly move but Miyagi was able to see right through the deception and won fair and square. Immediately after receiving the trophy, Kim refuses to acknowledge that he lost and insulted Miyagi in front of the entire audience by challenging him to a fight to the death to see which style is better. It got to a point where Kim critically injured Miyagi that it was where the blood was placed on his headband.
Ever since that day, Mr. Miyagi does not want anyone to enter tournaments ever again because they don't want him to end up like him.
Sato is immediately disgusted of Kim's actions during the Sekai Taikai that he actively opposes Kim not just because of his controversial style of teaching soldiers but Sato is willing to go even further by his dedication to defend his best friend's honor.
Anthony may not be a character I like THAT much and he did still come off whiny a bit this season (particularly when he was eliminated by Kenny in the competition)
But he doesn’t deserve to be blamed for something he didn’t do

During the Sekai Taiki arc, Miyagi Do will lose two fighters,
Demetri is the most expendable of the group and is becoming a bit too conceited, thus it is possible that he will get harmed to demonstrate how dangerous the competition is. This will probably result from Korean fighters of Cobra Kai or other rival competitors attacking him.
Given that Devon entered the tournament by deceit, she will forfeit out of guilt over time .
Daniel and Johnny will eventually have to give Kenny the spot he rightfully earned as a result of these actions and call Anthony in as a backup for Demetri.
Anthony and Kenny will fight back in the Valley, as Kenny still thinks Anthony set him up. Thus, in order to defend himself, Anthony will use the forbidden Miyagi scroll from S4. This fight will help them get past their differences and provide them with closure at last.
She will not only forfeit out of guilt, but will due to seeing how much of her horrible performance is hurting the team. She needs to be humbled by one of the other competitors.

I practiced Karate (Traditional Okinawan) for 10+ years, and hip rotation is absolutely a fundamental when throwing a punch or almost any technique. Also another thing I'd like to mention is that the Hikitei (ready hand) or in other words the hand that is pulled back to their side, has the palm face up, and is the punch is about to hit.
We then rotate our wrist so it then is palm down, which provides torque and more impact. Think like a drill.
Gross motor movements by having your shoulder follow your punch is typically bad and not proper technique. We drive our punches by pushing off our back foot, in a proper stance, followed by your hips, then the shoulder, and finally your fist. It might not seem like it, when most fights are taken in a more informal boxing like stances, but you'll see it if you look up Kata (Kah-Tuh is how it is pronounced) On youtube.

Terry Silver's omission from the first part was a huge takeaway for me. He really elevated the last two seasons and the other villains simply don't have the presence he possesses. I'm sure he will pop in during pts II or III and give the series a boost once more.
Thomas definitely does a good job as Silver. I do think though writing wise that's because there were some hints in Seasons 1 and 2 that help build up to him. Daniel banning Cobra Kai, for instance, was ultimately because of Silver.
After seeing Master Kim Sun Yeung I kinda want to see a prequel or some revelation that Mr Miyagi had competed and likely beat Master Kim in Sekai Taikai

My opinion. In Part 2. Devon will have a lot of explaining to do and lot of damage control. In this season, her desire to earn her spot in Sekai Taikai totally clouded her judgement
1) Although at full, she is also partly responsible for collaborating with Johnny in trying to drive a conflict between Sam and Tory by hosting a slumber party, which failed
2) now she is trying to exacerbate Kenny and Anthony’s conflict when she puts laxative in Kenny’s water:
All of this could really play as the collateral damage that could be the total gradual undoing of Miyagi Do and relationships of the cast.

I kind of wish more sports movies would allow for the climax to see the main character lose more, as there are more things to life than winning. -Tory either looses or wins against Sam but is unable to deliver an injury-inducing blow, being scolded by Kreese
-Kwoon cheats and somehow demolishes Miguel, possibly causing an injury. Seeing Robby, Sam, Johnny and Daniel care for Miguel snaps Tory back into the only real firends she ever had
-enraged by what was done to Miguel and finally not having him in his way to number one, Robby mixes Cobra Kai and Myagi-Do to manhandle Kwoon and get 1st place overall
-Devon is found to be cheating and Tory takes her place, fighting some other female athlete from CK or another dojo and enraging Kim-Da-Eun. Tory can't handle the sensei fully by herself but is helped by Sam and gets her comeuppance on Kim.
-Either Kreese himself tries some cheat, Silver or a third party crashes the tournament, sending it into and all-out brawl like many we've seen throughout the show
-if not showing up at the Sekai Takai, Silver shows up at the States to cause some havok, gets his plans foiled by the kids that stayed home, possibly led by Amanda's resourcefulness.
-Now this is way out there but hear me out: Miguel DEFEATS Kreese. Like, HARD, possibly with Johnny by his side or even by himself. This would finalize his arc, his story dealing with injuries, superexpose a theme of the whole universe of surpassing unspeakable odds and finally establish Miguel and by extent the main cast as fully grown, functional adults. Perfect send-off to the series and leaving the potential open for spin-offs and future projects like a student of the Dojo becoming a master...
I’m surprised you didn’t theorize about Julie Pierce. I think the briefcase is a segue to her. Daniel either knows her through something like Miyagi‘s funeral, or researches and finds out about her, and he wants answers so he contacts her. The reference to the name he was given in the next karate kid might be planting the seeds
people saying Daniel and Johnny arguing again and again is bad writing like they dont argue with their mom for the same shit every day
about ur Tory returning to miyagi do theory, I genuinely think it will happen. As Kreese always brings people to take out their anger on the enemy as I think he will hint to Tory about her moms death and tell her about it which will cause her to turn her back away from cobra Kai and return to miyagi do fulfilling her and Robby’s promise
Theory- Cobra Kai wins the sekai tekai, leading to a very dark part three. Otherwise whats the story?
A few things 1st this should be 20 episodes, 2nd the remaining team mates should still compete in the all valley, 3 I hope they find away to incorporate bobby and dutch storylines, 4 mike barnes origins and his storyline with silver, 5 it would be cool if chozen coach his dojo from japan
There was an audio on a different trailer showing them opening the box that had Chozen saying something about Miyagi leaving behind to Daniel the secret of Miyagi Do. But I didn't see that in the episode. So maybe the audio is from somewhere else. Chozen will find the secret and tell Daniel and Johnny.
Plot twist: Kyler walks on the Sekai Taikai mat. "Yes, I am Master Kim's great-grandson and #1 student. Yes, I was sent to America to spy on Miyagi Do because it's that dramatic. Yes, I'm going to Seoul National University in the Fall. Yes, I'm a business owner of Kyler & Kwon Financial Group and a proud sponsor of the Sekai Taikai. In the last Board meeting, I voted for a Kumite mat after watching Bloodsport at the drive-in theater. What is it? Don't act so surprised! I am Korean. I think Chozen is going to be the one to finally get through to Daniel about his issues with Mr. Miyagi‘s past. And through that Daniel will make amends with Johnny and the two will hopefully finally get on the same page, I was disappointed with how the end turned out with the two of them, technically on outs I am glad they’re not going their separate ways.
I have a theory about who will fight/beat Kwon.
There’s no doubt Kwon will advance quickly in the Sekai Telkai. I think Robby will be the first to face Kwon. I can see Kwon taunting Robby about Tori. Kwon would most likely know this information from Kreese and it would make sense as Kreese taught Kwon to be heartless. Robby would be furious and start to fight Kwon with pure rage. He would get great hits on Kwon but ultimately Kwon would use Robby’s anger against him and beat him. Then I can see Miguel stepping in to fight. Miguel would realize that he needs to fight with no emotion, just focus. Miguel would most likely win. Or I can even see Robby and Miguel fighting Kwon outside of the tournament. Maybe Robby goes to Cobra Kai to try to convince Tori to come back to Miyagi Do and Kwon steps up to him and tells him to back off. They would fight. Robby would soon realize Kwon is too skilled of a fighter and that’s when Miguel would jump in for a classic 2v1! I think I would prefer seeing that instead becuz Kwon is a BEAST.
Am sure Silver is still in charge behind the scenes.

my money is that Kreese killed Tori's mom to cause the emotions that caused her to flip and when that is found out there is going to be hell to pay
I think with Kim Yung Sung there is more animus as maybe Sato had nothing to do with it, but Imperial Japan did commit significant atrocities in Korea and China during WWII. Maybe Kim had a daughter that was made a comfort woman.

robby will give the captain position to miguel, because he lose his focus since tory joined cobra kai again, the final battle is between miguel and kwon.. and for mr. miyagi he might be the master of mr.han from china and together they joined the sekai taikai and julie pierce will clear all the mysteries.
Julie is likely to take on Kim Da Un, perhaps her character was created with the hopes that Hilary Swank would reprise the role of Julie Pierce. I could see a showdown between Chosen and Master Kim with Chosen using techniques learned from Barnes.
I think Robby and Miguel will be in a 2v2 match and also the captain won’t participate in every fight which means others might have to wear the headband and play a role as the captain for those initial fights.
That would be cool!
Barnes making them do Team work exercises would make sense

Tory is going to be pushed to hurt Sam or Devon. That's what will break the spell. Getting blood on her hands I think.
I know doctors can be wrong. They're not! infallible. However it would be a great twist, if it's revealed that Tory's mom was murdered. And her murderer is Kreese. Another thing I felt Payton was a good actress before, but after seeing Payton's scenes after Tory found her mom laying on the floor Wow. That was her best acting in the series. You really felt like she just lost her mom. You could see and feel her pain.
I wonder what he'd have done to make it seem like a blood clout. Especially since the scene makes it seems like her mom was fighting, with her fist being closed.

I have a prediction that Robby goes to Tory’s hotel room a day before the finals to convince her to leave cobra Kai and kwon is there and other korean students and jump him which leaves Miguel fighting in Robby’s place my other theory is that kwon gets so cocky that he wants to fight Miguel and Robby at the same time and they win
Pretty good so far, but I just feel like we've seen all this kind of stuff before from the show which is why I'm glad this is the final season. Hell season 5 should have been the end of the show but I digress..

Honestly hated what they did with Devon because I just felt that it was weird pick because I feel like Kenny had a bigger impact through out the seasons that him and Devon were in. After season 5 I felt more intrigued about what was going to happen with Kenny rather than Devon and her complaining about not getting seen just to cheat her way in felt so stupid but I do believe there will be a bigger payoff to all of this in the following parts so I am more open to her joining the team knowing that a lot more will be shown and proven in the next parts

I feel like if anyone would know this, it would be Sato. Sato was the only who even heard of Master Kim but I find it hard to believe that Sato knew Master Kim but Miyagi didn’t.

Crazy theory here about Terry silver in part 2. Somehow he'll be out of jail with all charges dropped and he will show up at the tournament with a whole new dojo called Quicksilver karate, wearing silver gis led by Kenny.
I'm not sure if Kenny would re-join him, but I'll definitely think we'll see Silver again.
I predict Larusso will seek answers to the Sakai Takai tournament Miagi competed in and it will lead him to Jackie Chans character!
Also when will the world see that daniel is the antagonist... and Johnny the real hero in this show and it better end with him as the good guy..

Yet at miagi do the one coach seems to heavily favor his kid. That is Not ok. It should be fair. My dad was the head coach on my old ski and snowboard team and yet out of anyone on the team i was pushed the hardest. There were times i was pushed so hard i literally fainted due to over exertion. My dad got scolded heavily by the ski patrol for allowing that to happen and that he needs to not push me as hard if this continues to happen.

So far, this season has required an inordinate amount of willing suspension of disablief, right down to the quasi supernatural "magic snake" in the cave. How the hell did Kreese evade the authorities enough to slip back and forth from the US to S. Korea at least twice? Does he have a passport? Why did no one put two and two together that Kenny was slipped the other kid's laxatives, regardless of who did the sabotage? The dude flat out stated that the medicine was missing, doesn't exactly require a Sherlock to figure it out. Lots of stuff like that.
