In this episode, we take a look at an event that accomplished what Columbus wanted to achieve when he sailed to the Caribbean - to reach the East by sailing West. Let's take a look at an event that became the first ever circumnavigation of planet earth undertaken by human being - "the Magellan Expedition".
Please note that this topic is not covered in the CSEC Caribbean History syllabus. However, it does contribute to an understanding of the overall Caribbean History narrative, hence why it is covered.
