  • DIY getting a small gas powered generator started. Demo on Briggs, G1000M, but most small generators this size will be similar.

    I doubt Briggs made this. Likely Briggs put their name on a Chinese inverter generator. Cummins (Onan) has been doing that for a while now. 😮. Pay big $$$ for Cummins (Onan) and get cheap Chinese junk. 😢.

      It's made by Mitsubishi in Japan. Take close look at front panel. Said made in Japan.

      @@justbehandy I didn't see that. It should be a decent generator then. Do you have any idea how old that generator is? I've never seen one and certainly very few if any are private labeling any inverter generators from Japan these days. Almost all from China.

      @randyab9go188 it's a 2005 model. I agree, Almost all are made in China now. I have been impressed with Champion brand, for quality and price point. You can get them at HD, Amazon, etc.
