I always liked the fact that they give Y-Wings second seat with turret. I also never understood what type of Mon Calamari cruiser it was - MC60 or MC80 wingless?
@@InSanic13 I'm not quite sure tbh. I've seen it in EaW mod called 'Phoenix Rising' and thought that was a real thing, but now, after doing some research myself i didn't found anything about it's origin. However, there is an images of this MC in web and what i found about it claims that 'The MC60-class was designed with Commerce raiding and rapid assault operations in mind. Six of these vessels entered service prior to the battle of Sullust and were instrumental in crippling the Empires supply lines in the later days of the Galactic Civil War. With peace between the Empire and Alliance these vessels have changed operations designations and are no longer Commerce raiding vessels'.
I see you're an equally skilled Y-wing pilot In all seriousness, though, 2005 Battlefront II holds up amazingly well considering the age of the game and how simple the AIs and such are.
I'd buy an HD remaster without asking any questions. Only real point I can think of would be using modern hardware to increase the number of ships that can spawn at once; otherwise, it's held up way better than I expected for a game I hadn't played since 2013
@@btly-wing6531 I play it pretty frequently on PC whenever I have no WiFi or if friends are busy. The handling of the ships is especially great, and I love flying between the hull plates on CIS ships. All round good stuff
While not as fast-paced as the newer game, I was amazed how well the flight mechanics and gameplay in the 2005 Battlefront still hold up today, and even the visuals are still better than I expected them to appear so many years later. I certainly didn't miss the 2017 battlefront's aggressive aim assist, reticule showing you where to aim ahead of the enemy ship to hit it, and insane range of all weapons that let you kill people way too easily.
Game is even funner than I remembered

Wait, in what source is an "MC60" detailed? MC40a's are certainly a thing, but I've never heard of an MC60.

@@Fantoca_Kotohimer I searched up that text, and it looks like a fan-made thing.
@@InSanic13 as i said, i'm not quite sure. Perhaps it is fan made, perhaps i just did bad research.
It's an MC80 wingless, same as Home One.
Finally, some good content on RUclips.
I always main the y-wing, it is the most overpowered trip in the game, and you cannot change my mind.

Better than EA's Game in my opinion.
