Did you use an acrylic clear over the water slide before submerging in water to keep the ink from bleeding (as stated in the directions for the water slide paper).

Yes, you will need to clear the waterslide paper or the ink will come off as soon as it hits the water.

Did you wet sand after your clear coat?

I did not wet sand or polish but you definitely should sand and polish.

I have a 6 gallon Dewalt with a 7 gallon air tank added. Plenty of air for small jobs. Wouldn't want to paint a car though.
