prime tim duncan is also basically a guaranteed finals birth when they were in their primes. 01 02 and 04 the only reason duncan didnt make it to the finals was because he had to go through shaq and kobe, but in 03 he went insane and beat them. If he had help those other seasons (manu and tony hadnt become who we know today) he wouldve gone to the finals all those years as well. Tmac and vince wouldve def gotten to the finals.
Ironic yet at the same time sad as a Raps fan. Young TMac and VC were like MJ and Pip, but VC's star appeared to shine brighter or the MJ. So Tmac came home to Orlando because he didn't wanna be Pippen to VC.
No one ever talks about 03’ Duncan...the man had zero all stars on his team and won a championship. Few players have ever done this. 75’ Rick Barry, 03’ Duncan, 11’ Dirk are the only ones that pop in mind. Duncan carried that team past y’all boy Kobe and Shaq. How can Kobe compare to Duncan when he couldn’t beat Duncan who had zero all stars on his team while Kobe had a top 10 player of all time. Duncan so underrated, early 2000’s Duncan is up there with anyone outside the top 5
Ran Holic Kobe played in the best defensive era between 1997 and 2004 😂😂😂 go look at stats and game tapes every1 was shooting 40% back then and if you scored 100 in a game u were considered a top scoring team in the NBA. Back then playoff games were hitting like 80 points
Winners also have the necessary parts to compete for multiple chips. See Jordan's Bulls, Kobe & Shaq's Lakers, etc. Give LeBron prime Tmac or prime Vince and they have a few. I'm a bit shocked because both of their games fit better with LeBron. Vince would have a field day, and Tmac would have the greenest of lights to pull up however and whenever. They must be okay with just playing defense?
Shaq was definitely unstoppable. Glad they talked about it because all we hear these days is Lebron vs MJ. I remember watching Lakers in the Finals and everyone was like how the hell do you stop that guy. Literally massive and was able to move quick too. But he does have a weakness and it was high free throws. If Shaq was healthy and had his 2001 form for 10-15 years, he would probably be GOAT. Lebron and MJ were also very fortunate they were healthy in their careers. Most importantly, they took care of their bodies as well. Shaq didn't just post his way and dunk. He had really good footwork and had really good hook shot that is super underrated. He did have a poor ft% which diminishes how good of a shooter he was around the rim.
I like the mention of Shaq bc Kobe fans discredit his worth to boost up Kobe's legacy. I remember reading from articles back in the early 2000s that Shaq could have been the GOAT bc he was also 30 years old when he won his 3rd straight championship (as was MJ) but Shaq wasn't going to retire and was expected to win more. I do agree w/ you that perhaps Shaq not taking care of his weight led to some injuries that sped of the decline of his prime. In terms of pure dominance in the Playoffs in the last 35 years, I'd say Jordan, Shaq, and LeBron are the only ones who can make entire teams shake in their boots.
Wade was easily the best 06, lebron should have a few spots on this list as well recently with how dominate he has been in these last few years, but espn is a joke anyways oh well
Joe Stuehmer you just showed you have no basketball IQ for that. Wade plays great defense while iverson was a liability, wade was hands down the best player in 2006 look up the stats and watch some tape on that final.
The reason that you don’t hear Shaq in the GOAT debate is because unlike Jordan and LeBron he didn’t have the same kind of versatility. Just one major point, Shaq and free throws and unfortunately there were other things in his game that could be exploited, though what he was good at he dominated in. Though I still believe there is no way you can call anyone that came after MJ and Shaq the GOAT, simply because the contact and foul rules changed so drastically, if you were to take LeBron out of this era and plop him into MJ’s time, sure he’d be just as good of a player but the number of free throws would drop through the floor and guaranteed more of his shots miss or get blocked because let’s face it, people play light d on LeBron because they know the refs tend to treat him with kid gloves. Whereas if you move Shaq or MJ into today’s NBA they’d be getting free throws left right and center on top of their ridiculous number of points they averaged.
LeBron is a multi era kind of player. People back then would be just as helpless as they are today. He can't help what rules are in place. To be honest, just because someone can throw elbows and literally push you out of the air or suplex you doesn't mean that's awesome defense. How people applaud something that could cause serious injury is beyond me? That's a cowards way out versus figuring out a way to stop them naturally. They have MMA for that gladiator type stuff, it has no place in the NBA.
She does an excellent job here. Asks a good question and gets out of the way letting McGrady and Vince lay it down. Vince Carter was a force. Well done all around on the unstoppable force, Shaq.
Out of this list Mj number 1 of course 6-0 beat everything nobody killed like mike... vince like i want rings im playin with mike...lol Timmy number 2 play with
demetrius 2000 Did you not understand what the list was about? It was about individual playoff performances in different. They ranked those. Not careers.
demetrius 2000 bill Russell, 11 rings, 8-0 and 3-0. Never lost the first round, never lost a final, never lost a game 7. His legacy is so marked that no matter how much media tries to disregard it and sweep it under the rug, it's solidified and won't disappear. Jordan is overrated and not even close to the greatest players of all time. Get off his nuts.
demetrius 2000 Do your homework. Bill has NEVER lost a finals and Wilt was not the only competition he faced off against. On top of that he beat Wilt even when Wilt had a serious stacked Laker team. There's countless times where Bill Russell was considered to lose but he beat the odds. He was a competitor and always trying to win and solidify his spot as the better player (sound similar to an over rated 6 time 6'6 champion mentally, don't it?). Oh and the 8 teams he faced off against were players that played more for tge love of the game and less for tge money. Not to mention a smaller market equals more competition and lesser role players (something Jordan ws benefited in dominating in as the league expanded). You're hero Jordan is the most over rated player of all time. And the want him to be so they can market off of him. So you do more research then get back at me.
demetrius 2000 Do yourself a favor and look at the loss Bill Russell has. It's not in the finals. Like I said, do your homework. And unlike Jordan, Bill Russell was preventing teams and players from getting past the first round or to the finals, unlike the losses Jordan went through with Bird and Isiah/Joe Dumars. So again, your Jordan is a myth and over rated. Without Pippen the set up was easy. Let Jordan score 50 and shut the team down or shut Jordan down and play defense one the other players. Pippen got Jordan past the first round and those 72 qin games. That's why Jordan and Pippen have 6 together while Bill Russell has 11 alone. Know your facts and do more research on previous players. You may learn something new and discover Jordan is overrated (if you can get past your bias or being brought up into thinking he's the greatest). Bill Russell is the true goat.
demetrius 2000 only thing you proven is you desperate to place Jordan is the greatest. And telling me Bill Russell lost a finals shows you didn't bother to look it up or you're trying to cling to Bill Russell's one loss while disregarding the multiple times Jordan lost (especially without Pippen). You're just provide yourself to be a dumb ass and continually making yourself look dumb and assuming I can't see your comments when they're showing up in my notification feed. You're the primary definition of the saying "you can't fix stupid"
Watch them together make me think about my college year. It was great to have them in Toronto entertained us. Too bad Tracy decided to leave The Raptors, if not, they could’ve been winning multiple championships!
Amazing Seeing these two legends Tmac and Vince analysising and being realistic about their experience with Shaq he'll mash the NBA in today s game back then the players were giving everything intensity passion and defense what an era of NBA yaaa
Duncan is a proven winner and leader, he wouldn’t care about getting 30 points unlike Jordan and lebron because Duncan in his prime would protect the rim and rebound so you never have to worry about it.
While that is true, pitting Duncan against Shaq is just hard just to do. I'd play alongside Shaq as well over Duncan, even though personally I prefer Duncan as a player. Shaq in the locker room being as hilarious as he is, as well as being literally unstoppable points is just nice as a safety net
Shaq, Tim Duncan, Lebron, MJ, Magic, Bird, Hakeem are franchise changing players. They could transform the worst team in the nba into a 50 win team almost by themselves. You draft those guys before u take Kobe or iverson KD Dr J
Luka Calov you're right. I'm just informing. But to be honest, it's arguable. Wade mostly got to the free throw line. LeBron was a possed straight forward down to business not trash talking, no celebrating, no emotion showing player matching Durant match up for match up. The Heat team in 2012 dominated when Battier and Mike Miller finally showed up hitting those threes
Luka Calov It doesn't matter how far you are down. What matters is if you win.in all honesty, beating a team 4-0 is more impressive than a doing a comeback because that just means you're the competition. And both series were rigged anyway so it really doesn't matter.
When all those stars were young, they hated each other wanted to destroy each other. But when they are older and wiser, they respect each other so much
You know what's more entertaining? If prime VC played with Steve Nash's Phoenix Suns. Imagine that lineup. Stoudemire, Marion, VC, Richardson and Nash. How many alley hoop dunks would that be in a game? They're gonna fly all over the place.
Angel H sorry but kno...mj the only person who dunks of two feet and in a game...has better dunks then carter! Vc....is a great dunker but he's a power house...always was my had way better style & shoes...and gold nickels. And did most of his dunking on all the top players centers to ever played the game . Vc...dunked on almost no one.
Sam Nelson I understand what you're saying but VC does vert take offs also. Any windmills he does, it's done properly, from a 2 foot take off, FULLY formed windmill put down with a powerful finish. Not the corny, cheesey 1 foot fraud looking take offs that Lebron + a lot of these newer guys are doing now days. And VC last year, has even talked about how a lot of these guys try doing shitty 1 foot easy windmills. It's just not the same. VC's 360s were all done off 2 foot take offs. Majority of his dunks were done off vert, the way how both me and you like seeing these iconic dunks being done. But as far as dunk on defenders? I would definitely agree with you mentioning MJ having more iconic posters though. BUT you and I know MJ's not the only vert dunker. VC, J Rich, Baron Davis, list goes on bro..
JayJay Hanchard that's my point VC took what MJ did and properly expanded on it VC had the finesse down also. His dunks were so clean. Yes MY dunked on better players but if it was a dunk contest in taking VC. Especially with his reverse 360 full windmill where he brought the ball all the way down. To me the dunk from the free throw line is MJs signature dunk. VCs honey dip where he put half his arm in the rim was better.
If we're talking about COMPETITION. Then KOBE went through guards like....AI, Pierce, Rondo, Ray Allen, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, Steve Nash, CP3, Deron Williams, Jason Kidd, Reggie Miller, Mike Bibby, Pippen, Wesbrook, KD, Harden, Melo, Billiups, TMAC, Metta World Peace.....on and on and on....and these are just the GUARDS. PUT SOME RESPECT ON THE MAN BLACK MAMA AKA GOAT. - PEACE OUT
Tanqrae He also had the most dominant center to carry him and got crazy trades like Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown. People like to forget about that while crying about the Chris Paul or Gilbert Arenas trades that didn't get through. Was Kobe great? Yes. But there was actually a time when Tmac and Vince Carter was better than Kobe.
It's a strategy that was effective to the point it's used till this day. I will say this though, there are a few times he hit them when it really mattered.
MJ in 91: 6.4 rebounds 8.4 assists 2.4 steals 1.4 blocks 31.1 points (52%) TD in 03: 15.4 rebounds 5.3 assists 0.6 steals 3.3 blocks 24.7 points (53%) Shaq in 00: 15.4 rebounds 3.1 assists 0.6 steals 2.4 blocks 30.7 (57%) LBJ in 2018: 9.1 rebounds 9.0 assists 1.4 steals 1.0 blocks 34.0 points (54%) Lots of great performances but I would say Lebron has the greatest playoff run of all time. And this is about an individual player so the team winning or losing isn't relevant.
Mcgrady got in the hall of fame by mistake he haven't did nothing to deserve the Hall never went to a finals never went to a conference final either never won a gold medal so what have he done but led the league in scoring
Vince Carter and TMac are so funny together. Vince always beats Tmac to say things because he is a lot faster talking(maybe also thinking?) and it totally frustrates the more chilled Tmac. Priceless
Lebron James Wilt would've scored circles around Shaq and held him in place in the paint. People don't know Wilt was a beast and a freak of nature. How you break a guys toe slamming the ball on it or dunk with a player hanging on your shoulder? He was a also a globetrotter. Meaning ge had mad tricks and ball control. Wilt was the most dominant center.
Wilt was 7'1 275...Shaq was 7'2 350. That is 75Lb difference. Wilt would get pummeled by Shaq all day long. Better get on youTube and look at some Shaq footage again bro.
I 1000% agree with the MJ vs Lebron thing taking focus away from other players. In very tired of the GOAT debate. Basketball is so much more than figuring out who is the overall best player. So many great ways to enhance the game that barely get any attention.
KObe was not interchangeable with Jordan lol. Saying that makes you look stupid. Jordan averaged more PPG, APG, RPG, SPG, BPG in both the regular season and playoff. Jordan shot 50% in clutch situations while Kobe shot a low 26%. Jordan was a FAR better defender and was bigger, stronger, faster then Kobe. Jordan won WAY more MVPs, and finals MVPs. Jordan was also a FAR more efficient player shooting a much better % from the field. Jordan was also a much smarter player then Kobe who was known to force his game far to much. Kobe is a top 12 player ever, but he is not close to as good as JOrdan
Many times people ask the question "which player would you rather start a team with?" This question is ridiculous because we actually don't have to imagine the answers, we have the answers in real life. Here they: Tim Duncan, Jordan, and Bird. Tim Duncan came to a very small market and gave it 5 championships while making them a contender for 2 f*#king DECADES. Tim Duncan is the kind of player whom you can build around a contender for 2 decades. Players who were not expected to make it far in the NBA, drafted at 28 AND 59, were made better around Duncan and they became 4xchampions hall of famers. Think about this; Tim Duncan made the all NBA 1st team and the NBA 1st all defense as a ROOKIE in 1998 (For perspective: Karl Malone, who was in his prime, did not make the all NBA 1st team that year). In his second year in the league, Duncan won the spurs a championship.
SHEMA MUGISHA Christian He also has been surrounded by great talents snd the best coach and a good organization. Say what you want about my favorite player but Garnett was the best power forward. He was plagued with no second great player and whenever he did get great players they went far. Put Garnett on that Spurs team he would've been a better fit than Duncan, averaging more assist, steals, rebounds, outside shots, and hitting his free throws. Tim Duncan had it easier than most other super stars, especially Kobe.
Young You’re wrong. The spurs organization was seen and criticized by many as the worst before drafting team Duncan. As a matter of fact, Pop who was the GM at the time was heavily criticized when he fired the head coach and appointed himself as the new HC. Now let’s look at the players. Tony P and Manu G are great but don’t forget that Manu was drafted at 59 and he wasn’t even good to be on the roaster the 2 years following the draft. Parker was drafted at 28. Having a great player like Duncan, you can build around him with late picks in the draft. But tell me one player who got better around KG, whom KG made better than expected, KG wasn’t as good to build around as TD. When he was with 4 other all stars, didn’t he just win 1 ring? Tim Duncan is wayyyyy Better than Garnett, it’s even close. Tim belongs in the same conversation as Jordan, Bron, and Kareem; not KG
SHEMA MUGISHA Christian Who was made better around Kg? Everyone he played with. The same as Duncan. Go look at the stats. Assist wise kg has more. Also in steals, free throws. Only thing Duncan did was the same as shaq. Protect the paint and post down low and draw double teams. Garnett was better offensively where he could not only score in the paint, you had to guard him outside as well. And he'd find the open and get more steals. He was able to play all positions but due to his size he played pf and center. And dominated even though he was undersized. Your point about the Spurs organization, Pop grabbed Duncan out of high school. Duncan would've been in the same draft class as Garnett (if not before) but chose to finish college. Pop chose to be the coach because he was a better coach. And it was the right decision because look at what the Spurs became during and after Duncan's time as opposed to before. And Duncan made Ginobli and Parker look better? That's equivalent to saying Shaq made Kobe look better or Wade made Shaq look better. Which is asinine. Garnett was better than Duncan and would've been utilized way better than Duncan had he been on that Spurs team. If Garnett would've formed a big three earlier in his career he'd have two more rings and maybe been in the finals 6 or more times
Young Love just read the comment above. KG actually played with players who your stats argument prove they were better than Parker or Ginobili. For instance, Latrell Spelwell led the Knicks to the finals in 1999 before he joined KG
I know Vince Carter still has a couple of years left but I can’t lie I like this nba analysts side of Vince.

True however he did lose a step or two but I see whatcha saying
No way Lakers Shaq was more dominant as he got bigger Don't get me wrong I loved Shaq at Orlando but Lakers Shaq was intimidating on the court no one could stop him and his 3peat proves it
If Shaq had stayed in INCREDIBLE shape his entire career, the way players do now, he might of reached #1 all time
Tearstojoyministries.org yeah, I read one his arguements with Kobe was when Shaq showed up fat in the pre season practice
The way players do now, as in players didn't stay in shape in the past?
hes locker room cancer and hits half his free throws
I don't see how he could pass Wilt Chamberlain.
ORagnar Wilt played very early in the NBA when it was still underdeveloped. When the talent started getting better, Wilts stats plummeted. Wilt is not even considered the best player of his era. Russell is
Today’s era better recognize a force Shaq was. The 2000 Lakers against today’s competition...😖kobe was MAJOR problem for people also, Afro samurai
“Major problem for people”
Can’t shoot 40% in the finals from 2000-2003
Duncan is the best for thier skill set, they said the others cause they are garunteed to finals
prime tim duncan is also basically a guaranteed finals birth when they were in their primes.
94 & 95 over Tim Duncan any day
Espn should drop being so disrespectful to Kobe Bryant
tmac was a scorer
vince surprisingly didn't want the ball. his pick on Mj is perfect. hed rather be a pippin
The Karnige he'll ya me too I didn't play in high school.
Lebron James Go watch Tracy McGrady career retrospective. Youll see how hot his game was to other real NBA players (Kobe, Vince and Alonzo).
Ironic yet at the same time sad as a Raps fan. Young TMac and VC were like MJ and Pip, but VC's star appeared to shine brighter or the MJ. So Tmac came home to Orlando because he didn't wanna be Pippen to VC.
The Karnige you know Tmac was a better passer than Vince Carter right?
The Karnige cmon now pippen was on whole other level
Shaq, cause im a scorer, but Jordan i gotta play with him🐐
As a die-hard Spurs fan, 2003 TD was 1 of the best, but 1993 MJ was unreal, that G4 double nickle in the Finals, unstoppabull.
What?! Forgetting about 08' WCF where Kobe only has Pau and Duncan have Parker, Ginobili and Finley? Lakers beat them 4-1😂
People forget, MJ was the only all star on his championship teams in 91 and 98
wow the disrespect that kobe gets... 2 MJs just 2 yrs apart tf outta here
conanthe3rd its not disrespect lol... Go find some kobes postseason stats that had better stats than those 5 in the vid... U cant
conanthe3rd that’s wat I said people fear Kobe
Ran Holic Kobe played in the best defensive era between 1997 and 2004 😂😂😂 go look at stats and game tapes every1 was shooting 40% back then and if you scored 100 in a game u were considered a top scoring team in the NBA. Back then playoff games were hitting like 80 points
Angel H best defensive era??? Stfu with ur bs lmaoooo... Thats ur only excuse huh??
Angel H is that why shaq and duncan had the best postseason stats in the early 2000 but kobe dont have?? Lmaoo
I would want to play with MJ or Bill because they were WINNERS
Winners also have the necessary parts to compete for multiple chips. See Jordan's Bulls, Kobe & Shaq's Lakers, etc. Give LeBron prime Tmac or prime Vince and they have a few. I'm a bit shocked because both of their games fit better with LeBron. Vince would have a field day, and Tmac would have the greenest of lights to pull up however and whenever. They must be okay with just playing defense?
If tmac had shaq, he would have had 5-6 rings for sure
Nowitzki's run was fucking outstanding. Kobe had an amazing run against Utah and Suns back in 09 - 10. Avg 33 pts, 5.8reb,7asst,1blk!
I would like to see vince Carter in the slam dunk contest for 2018 and 2019 season
Shaq would average 40 25 6 in today nba. He would eat any player for dinner and get triple teamed most times
nnow how about larry and shaq hahaha
His freethrows today would make Charlie Chucking the Fool.
kobe? wade?👀
Chad Payne Wade 2006 was ranked 9th and Kobe 2009 was ranked 21st
Wade😂
Wade was easily the best 06, lebron should have a few spots on this list as well recently with how dominate he has been in these last few years, but espn is a joke anyways oh well
Iverson was better than wade.. Only thing wade got on ai is rings thank shaq n LeBron for that
Joe Stuehmer you just showed you have no basketball IQ for that. Wade plays great defense while iverson was a liability, wade was hands down the best player in 2006 look up the stats and watch some tape on that final.
Duncan the Greatest Power Forward in the history of the game
"Hell give me Shaq when I was in my prime" - T Mac "woulda beat everybody!" - VC
3:00 the look tmac gives to vince when talking about shaq 😂
03’ Duncan for me 🔥 He’s the most selfless player of all time and I’d believe he’s the best at making his teammates fit the system.
Yes he is. He's the BEST fit. The modern Bill Russell. He'd be the rebounder and wouldn't distraught your offense or defense.
Nicholas...while that's a fair point, do you also think it's legit to handicap defenders to a degree that people can nearly score at will.
The panel is young! You are living for the moment. In which I understand. That is all you know!
Love seeing Mac and VC together! What could've been!!!
hahah I love how nonetheless the Tmac point Vince say "I am still gonna play with MJ"
Dennis Rodman is the only guy that can guard shaq. Dennis was a great defender and isn't given the respect he deserves
Only these little kiddies don't give him the respect but us 90s kids know better
Prime Shaq with prime Bron. Prime Bron and prime T-Mac. That would have been crazy
This is so great to hear lol I can't wait to hear these stories with today's players 10 yrs from now
She does an excellent job here. Asks a good question and gets out of the way letting McGrady and Vince lay it down.
Vince Carter was a force. Well done all around on the unstoppable force, Shaq.
Irving, Jordan/Bryant/Chamberlain, O'Neal, Russel, Iverson.. 🤔
Get off his nuts.
demetrius 2000
Do your homework. So you do more research then get back at me.
demetrius 2000
Do yourself a favor and look at the loss Bill Russell has.
Good on you, Rachel. Everyday it's a Lebron-MJ debate, 365/24/7...
Nothing wrong with friendly debates. 😬
Tracy with Shaq!!!! done. People yes they disrespected Kobe on the list but realize that it was best players to Vince and Tracy... VINCE AND MJ wow
Duncan is a proven winner and leader, he wouldn’t care about getting 30 points unlike Jordan and lebron because Duncan in his prime would protect the rim and rebound so you never have to worry about it.
Westbrook worry about that
While that is true, pitting Duncan against Shaq is just hard just to do.
Wade's 2006 postseason is way better than lebron's 2012
Luka Calov
Both were rigged in tge Heats favor. I'm a heat fan and even I have to admit that.
Young Love that doesnt mean that wade's performance wasnt better than lebrawn's
Luka Calov you're right. I'm just informing. But to be honest, it's arguable. Wade mostly got to the free throw line. LeBron was a possed straight forward down to business not trash talking, no celebrating, no emotion showing player matching Durant match up for match up. The Heat team in 2012 dominated when Battier and Mike Miller finally showed up hitting those threes
Young Love ok but wade also was down 0-2 and like 14 pts down in a 4th qtr of game 3
Bassicly he was down 0-3
Luka Calov
It doesn't matter how far you are down. What matters is if you win.in all honesty, beating a team 4-0 is more impressive than a doing a comeback because that just means you're the competition. And both series were rigged anyway so it really doesn't matter.
I’m super down for any discussion that isn’t lebron vs mj
When all those stars were young, they hated each other wanted to destroy each other. But when they are older and wiser, they respect each other so much
TMac VC and Shaq would've gotten at least 5 rings if the played together.
Plus u. They can get 5
MJ FOR ME
Imagine a young MJ and a young Vince together in a same team Omfggggg
Nice to See Vince as a pundit. I loved his intensity as a player
Haha love those two guys! "Imagine the both of us going to double shaq"
Lebron is the goat G=oing O=n A=nother T=eam

GOAT Getting Old And Tired
Haha, imma use this one bwhaha
Thats the truth right there.... Going On Another Team
@@bradjeromeski9831 lmao
There was only one person that was able to CONTAIN Shaq..........🤔.....none other than THE WORM🤷🏽♂️
Olajuwon
Ben Wallace
Dennis Rodman

Where’s Kobe
Nutcracker Draymond Trashtalk Green he should be up their besides lebron
Nobody wants to play with Kobe, why would he be on the list?
Nutcracker Draymond Trashtalk Green Kobe passed lebron
Devyn Lyons lol Kobe is trash
Choking
I like Vince and T-mac together analyst style .. dope!
You know what's more entertaining? If prime VC played with Steve Nash's Phoenix Suns. Imagine that lineup. Stoudemire, Marion, VC, Richardson and Nash. How many alley hoop dunks would that be in a game? They're gonna fly all over the place.
One could understand how dominant Shaq was when the greatest dunker of all time said he can't dunk on him.
Jason Chan mj dunked on him. So yes the greatest dunked did!
Sam Nelson everyone says Vince Carter is a better dunker lol half the Dunks MJ did Dr. J just first
Angel H sorry but kno...mj the only person who dunks of two feet and in a game...has better dunks then carter!
Where is Kobe?
Sean Kim as big as a Kobe fan u don't put him over Jordan at SG
Sean Kim my bad didn't see the two Jordans lol
I love MJ, Duncan, Shaq and LeBron but not putting Kobe was a bitch ass move
Sean Kim who would play with Kobe ??? He doesn’t pass lol
Sean Kim Where's alot of ppl at is the better question
If we're talking about COMPETITION. Then KOBE went through guards like....AI, Pierce, Rondo, Ray Allen, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, Steve Nash, CP3, Deron Williams, Jason Kidd, Reggie Miller, Mike Bibby, Pippen, Wesbrook, KD, Harden, Melo, Billiups, TMAC, Metta World Peace.....on and on and on....and these are just the GUARDS. PUT SOME RESPECT ON THE MAN BLACK MAMA AKA GOAT. - PEACE OUT
Tanqrae
He also had the most dominant center to carry him and got crazy trades like Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown. People like to forget about that while crying about the Chris Paul or Gilbert Arenas trades that didn't get through. Was Kobe great? Yes. But there was actually a time when Tmac and Vince Carter was better than Kobe.
yea i think that was the difference. I dont think T mac or carter ever thought they was better then MJ or Shaq
Young Love crazy af if you think Vince carter was better than kobe lmao
Kobe is so OVERRATED
They should be each other's answer. It's that simple.
The Jump and Open Court are my two favorite sports shows ever.
Shaq was the man
Everyone wants to play with Kobe. The most unselfish, humble player ever.
Iron Man Are you kidding me? Unselfish?
Aram, I think you are missing Iron Man's point there dude.
jermaineonealnumber7 im bad at reading. What does unselfish mean then?
sarcasm bro....you missed it. lol
let's not pretend hack a shaq is not a strategy.
Ghost0017
There in lies Shaq's weakness. He would've dominated completely had he been able to hit his free throws.
Strategy that never worked
@@Chronz
What are you talking never worked? It worked and frustrated Shaq plenty of times.
It's a strategy that was effective to the point it's used till this day. I will say this though, there are a few times he hit them when it really mattered.
So you're risking putting your front line in foul trouble for hack of Shaq?
MJ in 91: 6.4 rebounds 8.4 assists 2.4 steals 1.4 blocks 31.1 points (52%)
TD in 03: 15.4 rebounds 5.3 assists 0.6 steals 3.3 blocks 24.7 points (53%)
Shaq in 00: 15.4 rebounds 3.1 assists 0.6 steals 2.4 blocks 30.7 (57%)
LBJ in 2018: 9.1 rebounds 9.0 assists 1.4 steals 1.0 blocks 34.0 points (54%)
Lots of great performances but I would say Lebron has the greatest playoff run of all time. And this is about an individual player so the team winning or losing isn't relevant.
you can tell at 5:00 rach was told to wrap it up "30 seconds" , you can see her look and head nod ok. anyone else notice that stuff?
Shawn Kemp...come on man!
Wilt Chamberlain over Shaq all day long.
Shoot, Hakeem gave Shaq serious problems. Shaq will personally tell us that out of his own mouth.
Mcgrady got in the hall of fame by mistake he haven't did nothing to deserve the Hall never went to a finals never went to a conference final either never won a gold medal so what have he done but led the league in scoring
vc - played with mj kobe ai lebron kd steph curry ben simmons gianis. cant wait for him to talk after he retires
Vince Carter and TMac are so funny together. Vince always beats Tmac to say things because he is a lot faster talking(maybe also thinking?) and it totally frustrates the more chilled Tmac. Priceless
where's allen iverson?
Probably drinking ...
Shaq second most dominant behind Wilt
Lebron James wilt never played against other great big men. The average center then, was 6´8-6´9.
Cristobal Ospina Kareem, Russel, Gilmore, Reed etc etc all hall of famers
Cristobal Ospina also 6'8 without shoes compared to how they measure today so they are roughly the same height today give or take a single inch
Nah man u tripping
Lebron James
Wilt would've scored circles around Shaq and held him in place in the paint. People don't know Wilt was a beast and a freak of nature. How you break a guys toe slamming the ball on it or dunk with a player hanging on your shoulder? He was a also a globetrotter. Meaning ge had mad tricks and ball control. Wilt was the most dominant center.
Best post season performance,,?? where is Dirk,??
Lol he averaged like 24ppg 7rbs in 44% shooting in 2011 postseason.. lolx
Arren Carl he's a 2011 championship. That's all. No need to be mentioned
Young Love....It was still one of the greatest runs ever and should definitely be mentioned.
I Wish Vince & T-Mac Would Have Won A Couple Championships Together
Shaq: listen to my man Tracy Mc!
Wilt: Tmac, hold my beer.
Wilt was better than Shaq
FP foh
Wilt would put Shaq in a wheelchair lmao
yall just dont understand how big and strong shaq was. nobody in nba history compares with his size strength and athleticism
Swap Wilt with Shaq and I'll agree
Tmac could have been top 7 all time. Im dead serious. Y'all remember tmac.
Shaq not more dominant then wilt chamberlain
yes tf he was dude. all respect to wilt
Cha Boiiiii no he isn't
in that 3 year period. absolutely was. sorry
It's a toss up. I still like Wilt out of the two in a head to head, but Shaq could hold his own. Wilt is just more seasoned.
Personally think Carter had the better career between him and tmac, but who was the overall better player? (Disregarding any injuries)
TMac was a better player, by far...
Two Jordan's? No...I think him and Kobe are interchangeable...just my opinion
chi tai any more insults? How old are you?
Kobe never even had a finals like Dwade let alone Jordan
John Zada III Kobe’s ‘08 playoffs is better than which of MJ’s playoffs? 😂😂 Rookie year only.
ben1ben2ben1 Kobe also played 20 seasons wich let his stats and numbers go down ... and MJ had a dominant supporting cast more years than Kobe did.
Many times people ask the question "which player would you rather start a team with?"
This question is ridiculous because we actually don't have to imagine the answers, we have the answers in real life.
SHEMA MUGISHA Christian
He also has been surrounded by great talents snd the best coach and a good organization.
SHEMA MUGISHA Christian
Who was made better around Kg?
Young Love I actually want you to know that I would build my team around Dirk Nowitzki before I even think of Kevin Garnett.
Where is KOBE!!?!!? WTF
Riyadh Abdulrahman Kobe 2009 was ranked 21st
Kobe was never ever as good as those guys
So y’all telling me Shaq better Kobe ?!!??
