Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video. Спорт
Rick, I want you to know that we do not care that you post a 71 vs a 90. It’s your outlook and insight on the game that inspires us all to keep at it! Break 75 is a part of my Friday that I look forward to!
Good thing we play for fun lol
I care, I used to come to this channel and watch really good golf, Rick's game has declined immensely, I really hope that it comes back and he starts playing good golf again because it's tough to watch, you can see how frustrated he is and I really feel sorry for him!
Not to mention this video helped me with my mentality. I usually shoot mid 70’s to low 80’s, but played absolutely horribly my last round, and had lost all confidence by the end. It’s nice to see a guy like Rick can have a bad day, and that’s just golf for ya.
Break 75 is my favorite series of golf on youtube!
@@danieltudor4353 2021 was a good year for Rick
You are the man Rick! Some days golf just has nothing to give!
Surprised this comment isn't sponsored by genesis
Miss seeing you with the rest of the good good gang man. Hope all is well✊
That’s actually pretty profound. Golf is hard
Can't wait to see the Genesis classic hosted by you bro. Genesis all day!
@@iggnasty why
Guy is a champion friend. I love that he knows when to tone down the banter and just offer the encouragement. This video is a great reminder that golf, she’s fickle and so hard.
Spot on. He's the perfect playing partner, would love to have a round with him.
He just locks his ass
This video makes you so much more relatable as most of us play this way consistently. We are here because of your demeanor, positivity, and ability to keep cool under pressure. Please don't stop the series, come back determined, focused, and we will be there with you in spirit when you do.
To be honest Rick, I'm sure 99.999% of us have been through this. I don't watch you to see you break 75, I watch you for you! Please carry on doing this, yours is the World's best golf site for a reason. Hopefully the huge number of similar comments you are bound to get will make you feel better about yourself. Fridays would not be the same without break 75.

As a golfer who makes a par or two a round total, and a birdie about once every 6 months, I genuinely appreciated this video. It’s inspiring and reassuring rather than embarrassing. Thanks for keeping it real.
Exactly. Bogey golf isnt even in reach right now for me but I still have fun. Golf is the hardest thing I've tried to play. But the beer is cold
Agreed. This man thinks we care that he has a “bad” round? That may be part of his problem. Too focused on what he thinks we want. Just. Have. Fun. We will watch.
Agreed we all have bad rounds for various reasons.
You said it
Amen to that.
This may be my favorite video you have posted. Appreciate you keeping it real and letting the rest of us know bad days are normal but any day on the golf course is a good day!
It's actually a massive help for most amateur golfers to know that really good players can have bad days!! We don't give ourselves enough credit when we hit good shots or have a good round. Golf is hard, we all know it!!!
This is why you are loved by so many people. Keep it real Rick
its ok rick, please keep this series going. I shoot 80 sometimes but sometimes I shoot 110. it happens to all of us
See, even Tiger Woods struggles to break 100 haha
i shoot 115 but sometimes i shoot 104!
No way it’s tiger woods
Hmmm idk, I’m pretty sure it’s the real Tiger Woods
He means he shoots 80 over 36 holes btw
It's finally nice to see Rick playing like myself on the course for once. I feel represented.
Your lucky because, even playing like this he'd have beaten me by 10 strokes or more
He's an absolute chopper.
@@Lamster66Same! 🤣🤣
As a 55-handicapper who took 10 strokes zig-zagging across the fairway on a par five at the last course I played, I can confirm that golf is hard
You probably reached more people with this look into golf than any low score could have. It's something every one of us struggle with and you just showed us a very vulnerable moment for you and for that we thank you .
I agree! The last time I played I posted a 103, despite the fact I recently took lessons and thought I’d figured a few things out.
There’s no doubt that I have improved, but the fact is I’m capable of posting and 85 or a 105. This is a cool video because it shows a skilled golfer struggling like we all do. I’d say most of us relate to this more than we would if he shot a 75.
Anyone else impressed with Rick's scooping that ball out of the water with his wedge at 31:50?
That is not as easy as he made it look.
Maybe he’s had too much practice… 😂
Beat me to it. Practice makes perfect.
If I could just do that I'd be happy with posting 90
Actually yes. That was impressive.
especially straight after a beer and almost falling in.
Honestly, if you only had great rounds it would get boring. But it’s the human/relatable element that we come for. We know you are a good golfer, but we enjoy seeing bad days just as much as good because we have the same. 👍🏼
Rick this is up there with some of the greatest content you have made. I just love how relatable it is to the everyday golfer. Listening to the podcast now and kind of sad you will be putting this on hold for a while. Like all of us you would have most likely gone out this week and shoot the lights out. Best video of the year, thank you
I’m a new golfer and one of the reasons why I’ve continued is because watching your channel has kept golf ‘real’ and ‘honesty’ and helped me remember that ‘everyone hits bad shots’. Thanks for still posting this! I look forward to the next one pal!
And hats off to Guy, two victories on the bounce!
Rick, I think I can speak for a lot of people who watch you play and especially your break 75 episodes, bring a lot of us relief from a lot of stressful aspects of our lives. I’ve struggled with depression most of my life and have always had to come to terms with the fact nobody is perfect. Watching your videos makes me feel more relaxed at the end of the day because sometimes I can’t get out to play golf and watching you gives me a reprieve from my own stresses. We all have terrible days, but we also have days that put those terrible days into perspective. Please don’t ever give up and know that we all love you and we love watching you play no matter how good or bad you shoot it’s about the experience not the score. We love you buddy!
Golf (good or bad) is an excellent way to relieve stress and fight depression. Recently, it helps me a lot cooping with depression. #youarenotalone #keepfighting
😴😴😴
Here here read this Rick, you are doing more for people than you realise
Stay strong Nick ❤
That was some of the best content you've produced tbh. It's great to see videos embrace this side of the game , noone escapes days like this and to see yous laughing and joking and still enjoying the fact youre on a golf course and not in an office is refreshing. It fair brightened up my lunch break! Keep up the good work
I love the way you describe the holes at the start so we know what you’re working with. I don’t watch for a low score, I watch to learn and I learn something every time. Keep up the good work. You’re doing what you set out to do, teach people and produce enjoyable content 👍

We've all been there, Rick. Keep your head up. You deserve a ton of respect for releasing this video. This break 75 series is so inspirational because it is authentic. We all know how good a player you are, this slump will be over before you know it.
Justin rose missed the first 21 cuts when he turned pro, now look at where he is. Golf is a great game, and a great test for life generally.
Huge respect Rick! We've all been there, but very few of us would ever dream of filming our living nightmare and posting it online for millions of folk to watch and review. It's a very tough course too. I've played it 4 times and not got within 10 of my handicap on any occasion. Well done for posting it mate and sharing the pain.
Takes a lot of courage my friend. Thanks for being transparent add, being real is always the best choice
This is why I love Rick. He's one of us. We all have to put effort into being good. You can be doing all the right things and making strides. All of a sudden, BOOM a huge step back. To be honest tho, this is why we all keep on coming back. 2 steps forward and 1 step back but that one step back humbles us and makes us want to stride forward again. Rounds like this keeps us hungry to be that ever learning student of the game. Great content Rick, thank you for showing that you are indeed human. You have to know that your videos, good or bad, help millions of golfers every day.
I actually appreciate your dedication to your fans by uploading this. We all know how good of a golfer you are. It shows you're human! No doubt you will probably break 75 on the next vid!
Rick, I love that you posted this. I have rounds like this often and it was validating to know that even someone as good as you are at golf can have a round when things just don't seem to go your way. Very real and relatable! Thank you! You are an inspiration. I'm still hoping to break 80 one day!
One of the things I like about your channel Rick is you show the bad play as well as the good. Shows you’re human like the rest of us 👍
You're making the average golfers feel better about our games, and that's an important contribution. Keep up the great work!
Just remember that Tiger Woods wishes he could play like Tiger woods
The attraction of your channel is it shows ‘warts and all golf’. We all suffer the same problems you show but on a much more frequent basis. Love the game, warts and all and the ‘off days’ become far less significant. Tubes (Golf Life) has it right. Take what comes and use it to drive improvement.
I watch you all the time, from Malawi, in Africa. I must say this has been the most refreshing and relatable video of all time. I admire your game to to see that you sometimes can play as we play has made me love the game once again. I almost quit this weekend, because I had 'that' game, but this has been a huge encouragement and down to earth. I have learnt alot, we love golf!!! ...blaze on Rick!!!!!!

Yes Rick, yes. You are human and playing badly is apart of golf. It's really inspiring that even tho you had a shocker you still posted it. Loved it start to finish as it shows no matter the skill level we are all capable of having a shocker 😀 😄
That wording is funny to me 😂😂
That was actually very entertaining, I felt all those shots, i'm a 10 handicap (down from 22 thanks to a few years of watching your vids), and this is one of the most relatable videos you've made. I think showing the rare blowup like this reaffirms you're just one of the guys playing golf with us. 10/10
This was a very refreshing video to watch. The best part was his composure. Rick always teaching us something about this game
As an 8.3, a lot of these shots on here are what keep my 80-83 rounds from being 75-77 rounds. Hard lip outs, bad lies in bunkers, shots that come up just short in the water, and a terrible swing that you couldn’t recreate if you tried to out of nowhere
Sometimes you just have those rounds where everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Feels like they pop up the moment you start to feel like you have the game figured out. I was finally able to hit par about a month ago and felt like I was in the groove.
Went out last weekend feeling confident, hit a 91. Shots landing in the fairway were in natural low points, shots that missed were catching tree roots and launching out of bounds. Even had a shot that was intended to be a nice little bump and run catch a sprinkler head just off the green and fly right back at my face. Sometimes it just isn’t your day.
I'm 25.6 now Any tips from someone who used Ricks tips over the years?
Totally. You could really feel the frustration in the closing 4 holes or so, but the editing prior to that made the vid really entertaining. Everyone has days like that. Sometimes you just need a few more pints on the 19th.
I love watching you play no matter what score you post in the end. As a brand new golfer (at 42 years old) I learn a massive amount just by watching your 'Break 75' videos regardless of your scorecard at the end. Just keep 'em coming!
Your still and inspiration to all golfers!! We all have good and bad days and you still keep it interesting and positive. Keep break 75 coming!! Would love to see some more educational videos while you take a break to reset !!
Rick thank you for doing this! Shows you’re human and “one of us” definitely keeps us, at least ME, relatable… I appreciate a person that can step always and recognize “this wasn’t my best but that’s life” so thank you man! You’re the best!
Rick, all this does is prove that everyone gets bad days. I could feel your pain and admire you for sharing it. Guy is a great pal to have. Hang in there mate.
Just started watching the video so haven't got to the part yet where Rick says he was embarrassed of his behavior but all I can say is that I'm thankful that some of my behavior during bad play wasn't on film. I actually credit Rick and other youtubers for changing my embarrassing behavior, I was guilty of swearing, being rude to opponents/friends and even a breaking clubs a time or two when things went south but when I started watching youtubers some 10 years ago and how they respectfully the vast majority behave it suddenly changed my mindset and thankfully I stopped behaving like that. Looking back in my head I really can't believe how childish I used to act while playing something that you're supposed to do for fun.
I'm glad that you posted this. Golf is hard and sometimes it's nice to see people that you admire work their way through trouble. It's helpful to show mistakes to others and model how to handle the struggles along the way.
By far the best video I've seen of yours in a while. It's fun watching guys play good, but it's outstanding seeing good golfers go through what us weekend warriors go through now and then. The frustration was palpable lol

I was laughing so hard through this at the brilliant editing skills 😂 the piano out the window with 75 was hilarious and the pixie voices saying bad at golf was brilliant. I find these videos so inspirational as a part time golfer, much better than showing perfection all the time.
I like the subtle flaming ball at 11:38.
I was pissing myself at the piano 😂
The pixies laughing made me hide behind the couch
Rick, I've been a subscriber since almost the very beginning and I just want to say one thing, you are a damn good golfer! Do NOT get down on yourself, what you do helps all of us learn. There are bad days, and working through it is part of the game. You doing it gives me the resolve to get back out there when I play WAYYYYY WORSE. You inspire millions Rick! Don't stop doing what you do, we need it, we respect it, we respect you, and love the heart and soul you put into your game and your channel. We know you care so much and it shows. Cheers Sir!

That's a normal performance for most of us who watch your channel, don't stop doing the videos, they are very enjoyable.
Some days you're the bug, and some days you're the windshield. It's fragile magic and why we love the game. Hang in there Rick, we love the videos regardless of how you play or what you score.
Please don't stop doing Break 75! This round wasn't your best but people watch you because you are relatable and you help us aspire to better golf. I have been following you for a while now and I can honestly say, you, Guy, Peter Finch and Matt Fryer have inspired me back to playing golf after 10 years. Just finished a round of golf today and I was just happy to be there. Hit a few fairways and nearly chipped in twice. Without you and the others I would not be back playing. So please keep up the great work because you are helping many of us out there.
Rick, the fact that you still share your content shows you why you're such a great content creator. As one of your earliest followers, I've loved watching your journey. Your success is well deserved!
Rick, your positive attitude and joy for the game is wonderful. Having a bad day and explaining your day ahead of time just shows your respect. Thank you for being a great ambassador for the game.
Watching the whole thing is realizing that I'm satisfied playing the way he played. I was stoked shooting a 78 a month ago which is -10 from my previous best. Love this channel, you've helped my golf game so so much. Never stop posting, because you don't understand how much we appreciate you!
Rick, you’ve no idea how much this video will chime with all of us golfers who follow you. What a refreshing and honest report of your Belfry Nightmare, but as ever, a highly entertaining watch. Please don’t stop your Break 75 videos, whatever the scores.
Watching you struggle was exactly what I needed after a dismal round at difficult course last week. I'm a novice golfer who loves to play, but was considering leaving golf because of that horrible round. Watching that video made me feel like the bad ones can happen to anyone. I love your RUclips channel so please keep it going.
That’s golf man, watch your next round be one of your most consistent. We hit a good shot and then hit bad shots and endlessly chase that feeling like a dog chasing after a car. Even pros have bad rounds, there’s a pro that had a scorecard just posted where he had a 17 on a par 4 and was -4 before he got that 17. Shit happens 🤷🏼♂️
Sometimes it feels like you’re going backwards in progression, but trust me you will bounce back eventually and be even better than before
Hi Rick/Guy, thanks again for posting the most enjoyable golf material I ever watch on my television screen. The content and interaction between the pair of you is just fantastic and makes the video so relatable to the average golfer. We feel your joy when things are going well (yes, there have been times :-), but I'm sure many other viewers like me feel your frustration when things are not going well.
The reassurance I get from watching a good player like yourself having an off day reminds me that the professional game we see on our screens is at a level few of us could ever comprehend.
Just suck it up like the rest of us and look forward to the next round when it could all change for the better. DO NOT STOP BREAK 75, it is joyous. Thanks again for keeping it real.
You started me on my break 90 journey now a break 80 one. Keep it coming! Enjoy your holiday come back refreshed full of positive vibes!
We all need a friend like Guy in our lives.. what a legend.
Haha me & my playing partner are the complete opposite of guy. Zero sympathy, no prisoners.
Guy’s just paid to blow smoke….
Rick, you were the first golf tutorial video I watched. And you're still one of the first videos I'll click every week. So regardless of how you play, you will always be someone I look up to. I'm still trying to get good at golf but because of your inspiration I keep at it. I watch your break 100 and 90 videos for course management. You will always be the inspiration needed before a game because you will always keep on playing regardless of how your round is going. Don't be too hard on yourself. Next game you will be back and hit that 1 shot that inspires me to get out there and keep at it.
Having only just got into golf a few months ago your videos and outlook as a whole on the course has helped me massively. From your tutorials to the course videos it's made me fall in love with the infuriating sport that is golf.
This was easily my favourite episode, I laughed so much as I saw myself on nearly every bad hole. Thanks for being vulnerable enough to share you normalised all our struggles.
Watching someone who knows what they're doing - properly struggle like i do, is actually pretty encouraging.

I recently restarted my golf. After 15 years. Started off well, but did my first 18 at Caddington blue golf course. And hit +51. Really dispirited and this video has lifted my spirits.
This is the most relatable video of yours I’ve seen yet! Thanks for staying true and posting for us!
This is exactly why i love your channel: it's honest and real. I just started golfing last year and this channel is one of the reasons I think I've got 'the bug". Hey sir. I just want you to know that I watch your driver and iron hitting videos every time I go golfing and your hard work and skill has already helped me consistently add 50 to 100 yards on my drive and it's helped me actually hit my irons. I've cut 10+ strikes off my game because of all the amazing skill you shared with us. Keep your head up sir, I, for one, am never going to stop watching you.
Rick, please please keep doing those course/hole descriptions. As a blind golfer it is how I can imagine the hole you are playing. Stay awesome my friends.
“I know it’s hard to watch but imagine being out here playing like I’m playing.”
Rick that would be the best round of my life 😂 always love the content man
Dude man.. I don't play ball golf anymore, just a ton of Disc Golf, but still very much enjoy your channel. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you posting something like this. I've been working on my disc game for years and years and still struggle to get a scratch round on my home course. I can birdie every single hole, but have yet to put a round together without taking a big number on at least one hole. So thank you!

I think it was authentic and brave to post this even though you weren’t happy with your round. Seeing the struggle gives the rest of us hope, so I appreciate you sharing it! Just shows that we are all human and can all have slumps or struggles occasionally. Cheers to you, and here’s hoping you break SIXTY five next time!
Honest and brave? It's just an f....king game of golf. Want to see someone brave? Go to a children's cancer ward, there you will see what bravery is. Sheild is just another money-making bullshit RUclipsr trying to pretend he is a golfer. What is his message to the average golfer who wants to improve?
All he does is complain, in every show he does. It's the same thing over and over. No way would I let him give me a lesson. Such a negative person, not the type of person to give confidence in one's self. Mabey that's the theme of his show? Make everyone who plays golf like him depressed.
He gives me no hope to improve my game, that's why I would find a qualified PGA coach with a more positive persona to help me improve my game, not that twat.
I respect you more than any golfer on this channel or anywhere. No other RUclipsr would show their worst performance but to show you a man of the people and your Chanel is for the people you show us it’s hard for EVERYONE!!! thanks Mr Shields 👍👍
This makes me want to watch more.. I shot a 92 yesterday & was happy but I’m still yet to break 90
Rick I'm glad you posted this video! We all have bad days, and even worse days we're not proud of how we reacted. I am not happy to see that you were frustrated and had a bad game, that's not what I mean at all. I'm glad that I'm able to 100% relate to what you're feeling at this time, and how the mental hurdles are often harder to jump than the physical ones. Love the video.
I loved every minute of this video, Rick. I’m glad you didn’t delete the footage. Very authentic and compelling content. I’ve only been playing golf for just over a year now and it’s been really hard to be consistent - sometimes it’s good, and sometimes it’s really shitty! Videos like this make me one keep trying and break the 100 very soon! Looking forward to more genuine vids from you
This was one of the most enjoyable break 75’s to watch in my opinion. It’s nice to know you’re human after all, sprits stayed somewhat high, a couple of laughs and beers and some good banter, onto the next one😎❤️
One of the most relatable videos yet. Actually enjoyed seeing the human side of golf and to see someone who is typically upset after shooting +5 shoot a blow-up. Nice to see its not just the average golfers who have this problem!
One of the best episodes yet!! I could totally relate your round. Us amateurs feel the way you did in this round nearly everytime we pick up our clubs and go out and play an easy course. You were playing a bad ass beautiful course. It’s why the Ryder cup has been hosted there 4x.
Hey man, just wanted to say your channel helped pull me out of a rut mentally and learn a new skill this summer. You are way more than one bad round of golf. Keep it up!
Don't worry Rick, it wasn't hard to watch, it was relatable. Sometimes all we can do is just take a step back and have a laugh.
You got this Ricky boy! Thank you for what you have done for so many of our golf games!
Rick, your honesty and boldness in posting this video makes me so proud to be a follower of your channel. I didn’t enjoy watching you shoot 89 but found myself pulling for you to turn it around and get yourself in a positive mindset. Golf is hard. Mental golf is even harder. You will bounce back and crush this course next time! Stay hungry my friend!
I have just entered the world of golf as a beginner and your channel is great, your enjoyable to watch and your a real person with highs and lows. Carry on Rick! Thank you
Mad props for putting this video out there. No possible financial gain can offset the humility it takes to show the world your worst moments. It takes a lot of character. Bravo Shielsy. Take all the time you need. We will be here for whatever you do, whenever you share it. Golf is hard.
“Mad props”…the fact that he wasn’t going to post it says a lot about Rick, he’s egotistical and monetises everything he posts. You are literally giving him “props” for being transparent with his audience which should be a pre-requisite imo
@@CUK__ should he be putting videos out for free? I’m sure he puts more work into this than you do at your 9-5. Jealousy looks ugly on you.
@@holdenlayton1026 1. You don’t know what I look like so that point is invalid 2. You think he does these videos for free 😂😂😂 you are deluded pal…everything he talks about is about subscribers or paid partnerships, open your eyes little boy.
@@CUK__ most celebrities hide the bad parts about themselves. If bryson dechambaeu shot a 90 on his RUclips we’d never know because he wouldn’t post it.
So Rick is being transparent when he definitely does not have to be.

RIck, I just want to say that it is so good that you posted this video. Just shows everyone that golf is not easy, especially when things aren't going your way. It's a also valuable lesson for everyone playing a matchplay game. You need to go on because in the end you will make that par or birdy! Your game turned around (a little bit) :) in the end.
Love your humility and honesty. That's what makes yourself channel so great to watch.
Rick, your attitude is fantastic. Golf is REALLY hard....itsl' the bad stuff that makes the good shots and great rounds even more enjoyable when they come. I love your honesty and the fact you did share this video says all that is needed about you. Well done.

Rick, I can't say how happy I am (selfish part of me!) that you did release this Break 75. This is real golf, and just shows how this game can throw anyone of us for a loop on any given day. I love your vids regardless, but this one was truly relatable. Keep up the great content, and let's get after that next Break 75!!
This is exactly why you have the following you do... You are so relatable for so many of us. By showing your bad golf, you give us hope...
This was one of my favorite episodes to watch. It was honest and real and relatable.

One of my favorite videos of yours. Unbelievable respect that you still released this. Keep your head up, golf RUclips No.1.
Rick, I thought you were remarkably composed on a day that shook your confidence. You know everyone has struggle days. I'm very glad you decided to post this because it makes me want to be a more respectful golfer. I haven't always been that. So even when you've struggled, you've made me a better golfer.
If being a PRO athlete was easy, everyone would be a PRO athlete. You have had a reminder that golf is hard, and just when you think you have the game beat, it will beat you! You have helped me in my journey to learning golf so much, and I joined the golf game late in life.. I just turned 42 years old, and I have been playing now for the start of my 3rd year. I have wanted to quit so many times in my journey, but I then take a breather, relax, and remember what I have been learning. I have done everything without a single paid for lesson, only what I have learned from you Rick, and few others. I have shot over 100, and I have shot a 72 as my lowest score to date.. Golf is not an easy sport to learn, play, and win!!! Golf can't be won, only played.
Golf pro and professional golfer are two vastly different things. Google it
This was so relatable. Everyone has days like this - even great players like Rick!
I love that you still post even these videos. Not because I like to watch you suffer. But because it's REAL. It's golf. And even in times like this, your pure passion for the game comes through. It's SUCH a mental thing. A bad stretch is so hard to break out of. But you're too good to suffer for too long. Keep putting this out there and we'll keep loving it!
Now I dont feel so bad about my bad rounds lol. Good on you Rick. Great attitude. loved the video.
Look Rick, I know you have no clue who I am. But as a recent subscriber, I just want to say that I can REALLY respect the hell out of the fact that you share your struggles with us and not just the best days. It's nice as a beginner to see that even pros just have off days sometimes. I love watching your videos and while of course I hope for you to do well, it makes you human when you share the occasional bad day too. It happens brother. No loss of respect here. As you said, Golf is HARD.
I have been struggling to learn how to hit my 3 wood, so much so I picked up a hybrid because everyone says they are easier and more forgiving. I was so excited to go to the range and try it, and I couldn't hit it well at all either. It was very discouraging. I decided that it just wasn't a day for golf. I'll try again here soon. We all have those days. But please, keep making your content. I promise we're still watching! Lol best wishes my friend.
Rick stop beating yourself up. Your personality and the way you come across on your videos keeps us all entertained. I have watched you build a golf simulator in your garage and go up to Scotland and buy some second-hand clubs. you are truly an inspiration to us all. Amazing content and you come across as an awesome guy too. Take care and keep smiling.
Mate, from picking the golf clubs for the first time 7 years ago to being a 10 handicapper today, you have been a part of my journey all along. I can’t even count the number of things I learned through this channel and tried them to improve my game over the years. Thank you for being with us. Golf is indeed very hard and your biggest competitor is YOU!!
Thanks for being brave enough to show us the "bad rounds" and not just the "good" ones. You're authentic and we love that about you!
I have watched you on and off for years and have found you very helpful and super enjoyable to watch. I realized I hadn’t subscribed yet (totally my fault), but the honesty and reality of this video definitely made me realize why I enjoy you so much. I am now subscribed after about 4 years lol thank you for all you have done!
Rick, please don't stop with the Break 75 videos!!🙏 The score never matters! You just make everyones friday better!🥳

Nah... posting this just makes me respect you MUUUUCH more. Not only as golfer but as a human being. Your humility is commendable. There's a reason why 2 and half million people watch you and it's not because you play great golf. It's because you represent how a golfer should act and behave and how a human should behave! We are all human. You're one of the good ones.
