If you follow the lead down with the rod, as well as using the pole kneeling you dont have to account for swingback aside from pushing the spoon forward to where the deeper was. Its simple Pythagoras theorem, if it was a short way out and very very deep then okay, swingback is a thing but in this case, absolutely not.
Perhaps you can tell me why my Deeper Pro + keeps loosing signal only a few rod lengths out since the new app. Deeper didn’t rely want to know apart from turn off this, turn off that.
I'm not sure unfortunately. I would suggest to make sure your phone is mounted about waist height and that mobile data is turned off as this can interfere with connection.

You can get a bait boat adapter for the Deeper. A range extender is a handy tool if you plan at fishing long ranges.
