@@MaryLoveJane I've heard that too. The theory states that the last driver of a car is who that car became or something along those lines. It's quite dark, but most of Pixar theories are. Lol.
The reason Cars 2 is so different is because the voice actor for Doc Hudson sadly passed away during its making so they had to make a completely different story line. Cars 3 truly is the real sequel.😌 They had finally worked out a way to continue Mc. Queen's story arc in spite of Doc's absence as well pay homage to Doc in the most respectful way ever. ✨THAT'S WHY THE PISTON CUP WAS RENAMED AFTER HIM✨ I actually grew up on this Trilogy and when Cars 3 came out I cried my ass off😭 Every time during the movie when they spoke about Doc it tugged at my heart stings. By the end I was cry-laughing. Safe to say I cried some more when I found out at the end it was cause Doc's V.A. died and that the new lines in this movie from Doc was actually lines that were recorded for Cars 1 but ended up getting cut🤧😌
Joe Ranft (who voiced Red) died in an automobile accident on August 16, 2005, ten months before Cars (which was dedicated in memorial to him) was released, and therefore Red played no vocal role in the film.
😂I get why you’re frustrated with McQueen not finishing his race in Cars 3 but It wouldn’t physically make sense if he won because he’s racing against newer car models. They were literally designed to be better. That’s why Cruz could win, cause she’s part of the new models. But at least they found a way for him to still be fulfilled with his life even though he can’t race anymore. Also I like how his story mirrors Doc’s. Like Smokey said; the best part of Doc’s career wasn’t racing, it was training McQueen.
Actually speaking mcqueen would have won through the training and seeing his body got rebuild to a newer one he could have won cause Mcqueen on aspalt top speed is 202-203mph dirt slows him down which is why he trains on it to improve his speed but with smokey training drafting, and being more agile not like his prime he could still catch up to storm n beat him in a race
Pixar had an ending where lightning gets signed by dinaco last minute and beats storm in the race but Pixar thought that ending was too generic. Pixar ruined the ending to cars 3
I actually like Cars 2the most, yes it feels completely out of place, but that's kind of what makes it feel so special, it's like the unexpected cream in the center bookended two films of a completely different type. While Cars is about Lightnings Rookie days and Cars 3 is the end of his career, Cars 2 takes place right in the middle of his Glory Days where anything can happen, and literally that anything that can happen does happen in a way that catches you off guard and says "Wow, are you sure this is the same world," and the fact that something so out there can happen to these characters that were formerly so down to Earth just gives the sense of how exciting the world can be, that maybe you can be in a small town today, but tomorrow you could be seeing the world in International Espionage, right now you're just getting started, but there is a whole world ahead of you. And that's also why Cars 3 is so sad, because now you realize that world is now behind you.
Okay, but the issue comes at hands when you realize that McQueen isn't the protagonist of that movie, Mater is. And not to take dibs at Larry the Cable Guy or nothing, but I feel like the character himself, WORKS in small doses only. Because he's a comic relief in the first film, and usually when you have a comic relief in their own stand alone movie, it doesn't usually end well. Which is probably why Mater worked in his own stand alone show, Mater's Tall Tales.

It’s kind of funny cause Cars 2 is the movie I grew up with, so I have a soft spot for it. But stacked against the 1st one and the 3rd one, I can definitely see why I always see people say that Cars 2 is bad 😂
In between Cars and Cars 2 there was a series of short cartoons called 'Maters Tall Tales' where Mater claims to be or have seen or all sorts of things, and halfway through every video Lightning asks something like "Well what happened then?" or "You actually expect me to believe that?" and Mater responds "Don't you remember?" or "Well you should" because "you was there too!" and we find out that actually McQueen was actually there on every adventure, and whether Lightning remembers it or not then something happened at the end of it we see something that confirms it actually did happen. To me Cars 2 was basically a movie length version of one of those shorts. That's why I liked it.
I think that a big part of why Cruz didn't just join a race is car sexism lol, she mentioned feeling out of place on the track and doubting herself, and when you look at the racers they're all guys! Also explains why she didn't know Hudson at first but did know and truly admired the female racer car who was friends with Smokey. Plus why her boss is telling her why she can only be a trainer. I say McQueen was a real one for letting her race!! She truly needed the chance because it was so hard for her to get by them. Also I think it's the most satisfying end to Lightning's character arc like yeah him winning would've been great because of personal spite but to me this is the best way they could've gone about concluding his story.
And in the conversation with the female old racing car "Louise Nash", she mentions that it was difficult for her as first female racing car, that she didn't even got a number and just sneaked into race, and she also said how the boys didn't appreciate it to losing to a woman like her. So yeah, Cruz probably experienced some of this left-over sexism, since racing in the Cars Universe, still is male dominated field.
I wasn’t upset about it really because McQueen also got the victory due to him starting the race so he doesn’t have to retire. But the ending where McQueen beats Storm would’ve been beyond satisfying and would’ve been what we all expected
All the Cars movies were legit boss for me. I loved how each ones' story was produced and they're one of those movies where the toon aspect was used good and not overly slapped in your face. At times I completely forgot there's no humans in this movie, but they made the dynamics well and you can feel the heart and soul of the characters, and they felt very human. Plus, Doc's backstory about his racing career getting cut short really was a big wake-up slap. But also the fact he hid that identity from everyone for years and the revelation of him being a pro dirt racer really set part of the movie's tone. Cars 2: I liked the spy elements and the mystery of the movie. But I also liked the dynamic of sometimes friendships are hard, but it's important not everyone will be the same as others. The backgrounds around Japan, Italy, and England, were really great. They made it felt like we were in those areas and they didn't treat them as just a backdrop. Plus, the tribute to Doc was the crème de la crème with this movie. Cars 3: The story of a veteran wanting to settle the score but also honoring the hardships of a passionate coach really got me a little. The scenes of McQueen questioning Cruz and the two fighting at first and then getting along were nice. It made them understand each others' personalities and styles to training for races. Jackson Storm was a villian I liked because even though he was a cocky and arrogant bastard, he at least had an honor and didn't stoop low like Chick.

The first cars movie was one of my dad's favorites. He'd burst out laughing while watching it. Even had Mater poster on the wall for a while after the first movie came out. He passed unexpectedly a little over a month ago, this video reminded me of how much he loved these movies.
He could have beaten storm since his body got remade I like cruz racing but mcqueen could have won seeing that on aspalt tracks mcqueen top speed is 202 or 203mph on the track and then the drafting which increases his speed by 5 mph more so basically putting him on storms average speed being 207-208mph Cars 1 mcqueen would smoke storm and cars 2 mcqueen aka prime mcqueen is just unfair seeing he beat a f1 car that goes 220 mph
In the alternate ending, McQueen beat Storm so the possibility was always there. Winning races can also be about strategy which McQueen has a lot of. McQueen tried to beat Storm on speed in the first few races and that was his downfall. In his prime tho McQueen races circles around Storm no contest
I'm glad you made this video, and decided to defend this franchise. Growing up Cars was always one of my favorite movies! Even my dad who is now 50 years old even told me that he thinks the Cars Franchise is one of the greatest kids franchises of all time! I remember both of my parents would constantly spend money on car toys all because of me. Since Cars 2 was actually my favorite movie at point back when I was like 7 years old, I just loved collecting them all. THANK YOU for defending this underatted franchise and the highly controversal Cars 2. I myself, being almost an abult, still doesn't get all the Cars 2 hate
I know the first movie like the back of my hand. When I was younger my brother would watch that movie EVERY, SINGLE, DAY. I like the movie but not as much as I used to, my brother made sure of that🤣

33:34 Suddenly found myself thinking of this quote from the 'Twilight Zone' episode 'A Short Drink from a Certain Fountain' - "Youth always defeats age, and then despises it for loosing. Never realising, never giving it a thought, there's always someone younger on the other side of the door, waiting to come in. Forever waiting to come in." The ending we have is great, but a bit of me wonders how Jackson Storm would've reacted when the new youngsters came in, the moment when he realises that he's now a car from yesterday, that he's old news. He was really asking for it. And picturing that just makes me think of the next quote from that same 'Twilight Zone' episode: "But....but it isn't fair.....everything's on his side." "You see my dear? As you get older, how wise one gets?"
You can’t just join a nascar team that’s why she has never got a chance and that’s why he used his last race to give her a chance basically McQueen accepted that he is old and wanted to give her a chance at joining a team
My brother from when he was a baby until he was almost four ADORED these movies so they always make me happy even though I’ve seen them a million times
Cars is such a phenomenal movie! Beautiful animation, great behind the scenes and Easter eggs, hilarious jokes and a lot of adult ones, the best character arc, and such an emotional movie too. Like one of my favorite moments and emotional moments is when doc talks about how he went back after almost dying and they told him IT’S OVER. YOU’RE HISTORY. “There was a lot left in me, I never got the chance to show them.” The Hudson Hornet wasn’t only a real brand of cars, but “The FABULOUS HUDSON HORNET” is really based on two real hornets that shared the name. Back then Hudson Hornets were dirt track racers. My favorite part about this film and Pixar in general is when they do so much research. The creator and director of Cars is personally obsessed with actual cars and racing. All the cars are based on real racing cars, it was the first Pixar film to use ray tracing to make light reflect, they recorded the actual cars they’re based off, they got real racing legends to voice characters, and he took the whole animation and sound crew to Route 66 to experience how it’s like. Watch the behind the scenes.
There is a small series called "cars toon" which consists of short stories about mater and some fked up plots. The second movie fits perfect with those shorts, and if you just think of cars 2 as a cars toon the movie, its actually okay. And then think of cars 3 as the sequal to the first one. Makes the series so much better and makes me sleep at night.
I love these movies and I’m glad you did too! And I totally get ur criticisms bout McQueen not racing enough and all that stuff And I think the second movie being about Doc and Lightning would’ve been adorable if docs va didn’t die Anyways I’d like to grant you with the cars 3 alternate ending my friend showed me a few days ago So basically, Sterling tells Lighting that’s he’s not gonna be in the race and Cruz is gonna be number 95 So of course McQueen gets like upset but then the Dinoco dude comes in and says that he’s been waiting for Lightning and that he could be the new Dinoco racer So obviously Lightning takes it and he gets to be in the blue paint at the end and gets number 51 (docs number) instead of Cruz So both Cruz and Lighting would’ve been able to race Storm I’m not exactly sure who was supposed to win but i thought It was an interesting ending Here’s the video I got it from but yea :3 ruclips.net/video/h1BPfNDs7zo/видео.html
as an early 2000s kid, i've seen all of these cars movies. cars is an awesome original movie, so many memorable moments. cars 2 was incredible despite what ppl say but i understand the hate, but i'm a mystery lover and the quick mystery within the mystery made my excitement tingle. i've seen cars 3 but it was the movie i've seen once because i've grown up and was focused on getting better at school, also it wasn't displayed on disney much so i can watch it over again, but i wish to watch it again (sad but true). it was a cool franchise, rip paul newman 🕊
GIRLL, u don't understand, mcqueen can never win against storm, that realizations kicked in right before the race where ramirez won in their practice race... if u understand that, you'll understand why he did that
I saw Cars in theaters on my sister’s birthday, and I liked it okay, so when I saw Cars 2 in theaters with my now husband, we laughed so hard at how bad it was. I didn’t bother ever seeing Cars 3. I guess I missed out! I think I confused it with Planes. 😂
I actually liked Cars 2, i will admit that a spy thriller was a weird continuation to the story the previous movie told but i trough it was a fun movie regardless and i like how it expands the cars universe and how they play with the idea of a society runned by talking cars, and omg when it came out it gave my autistic 8yr old brain such a serotonin rush it's cars doing martial arts! What else could you ask for?!, maybe if it were a spin off instead of a sequel it wouldn't have been so hated. (Also compared to the rest of stuff that came out of the Cars franchise it was pretty dark, It's the only thing in the Cars franchise that has a kill count.)
The first and third movies are such comforting and fun rides (heh) with good lessons about appreciating your friends, competitive spirit and legacy. Plus I’m a huge fan of Paul Newman and low key Doc Hudson is one of my favorite roles he did. The second one I can take or leave, but it has some real hilarity going on.
Life is a highway is such a nostalgic and great song, I actually got to see the original singer Tom Cochrane in concert, seeing the song in concert was such a surreal experience, and I got a high five from him
i have been to a car thingy event and it was loud but it was really cool i went because a friend was in the race he didn't win but he got 2nd place but anyways it was really cool and i would recommend it although there is quit a few crashes i really find it interesting😍❤👍 👇
Cars 3 making mcqueen not race his final race i think was scrapped but either ways mcqueen would have beaten storm not as easy as if mcqueen was in his Prime which is cars 2(which people think isnt canon but kinda is) cars 3 mcqueen would have easily been able to produce speeds of 207-208mph if he were drafting storm seeing that mcqueen speed is literally 202-203mph on aspalt cause dirt slows him down to 198-200mph
Cars and Cinderella both got the sequel right the second time (third movie) around I take the second movies of both trilogies as a The Lion King 1½ situation
I’m glad you googled bc the original Life Is A Highway does it for me, it has a little more Rock in it, it’s got a bite Rascal Flatts did their thing with the cover bc it feels very innocently fun for the children’s movie Edit: I need to find a mashup of the RF instrumental with Tom’s vocals bc that would be ultimate freedom

I like cruz racing but mcqueen could have won seeing that on aspalt tracks mcqueen top speed is 202 or 203mph on the track and then the drafting which increases his speed by 5 mph more so basically putting him on storms average speed being 207-208mph
Cars 1 mcqueen would smoke storm and cars 2 mcqueen aka prime mcqueen is just unfair seeing he beat a f1 car that goes 220 mph
In the alternate ending, McQueen beat Storm so the possibility was always there. Winning races can also be about strategy which McQueen has a lot of. McQueen tried to beat Storm on speed in the first few races and that was his downfall. In his prime tho McQueen races circles around Storm no contest
I'm a die hard cars trilogy defender
I like the movie but not as much as I used to, my brother made sure of that🤣
Larry the Cable Guy voices Mater and I think he fits the role perfectly
I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND CARS 2 HATE MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER IDC
YES OMGG
They’re just Mater haters that’s all. The spy element was cool af and McQueen beat the best racers in the WORLD. The movie had everything idc what anyone says
14:32 this scene always gets me in the feels.I saw the movie thousand times but I still love this final.
The opening jingle alone is worth a like for this video 👏
I loved cars 3 😂😂 I was so surprised but that was the best written Lightning McQueen for any of the films lol
cars is so overhated. 1+2 are def classics and the whole franchise is comforting
3 is WAY better than 2
@@MediaLoverChris02 yeah it is, but it came out years after 2 and i didn’t grow up watching it. i only got around to watching 3 during covid. really didn’t connect with 3 as much as the other 2
@@y2kannah 2 doesn’t have a relatable plot and I hate Mater.
Forever waiting to come in."
The ending we have is great, but a bit of me wonders how Jackson Storm would've reacted when the new youngsters came in, the moment when he realises that he's now a car from yesterday, that he's old news. He was really asking for it. And picturing that just makes me think of the next quote from that same 'Twilight Zone' episode:
"But....but it isn't fair.....everything's on his side."
"You see my dear? As you get older, how wise one gets?"
Fun fact: Francesco Is voiced by John Tuturro, who also played the Rat King in The Nutcracker the untold story
Oh noooo now its gonna be all I think about when my nephew watches it for the billionth time ahah 😩
The voice of Doc (paul newman) died in 2008, so they decided to take out his character.
cars 2 is my favorite out of all the trilogy
Cars 2 is peak just because of the sheer meme factor of making it a spy thriller with mater as the protagonist.
i was watching cars in my dentist appointment while they where working on my teeth😭 i also love your videos♥️
I'm bout to be 21 years old and this is still my favorite animated movie trilogy aside from the Spiderverse movies with my boy Miles Morales
LOVE THE BEGINNING SCRIPTURES ❤️❤️❤️
I really liked Cars 3... I thought it has a good plot. I liked that McQueen became a teacher
I love your videos. Your reactions are so funny😭😭. In my opinion from best to least favorite for cars is 3, 1, and then 2
Thank god it feels like my voice's getting heard. I think that most people were a little too harsh on Cars franchise.
Intro always so creative I love it
I’m glad I watch all 3 movies.
You can’t just join a nascar team that’s why she has never got a chance and that’s why he used his last race to give her a chance basically McQueen accepted that he is old and wanted to give her a chance at joining a team
Hey Lakia Thank you for reacting , i love your content. Hope you doing well :)
My brother from when he was a baby until he was almost four ADORED these movies so they always make me happy even though I’ve seen them a million times
"He can't die, he's a car"
Leland Turbo got crushed into a cube during the opening💀
It may be a cover song. But it was before it’s time. It was made for 2006
The reason Doc didn't appear in any of the sequels was because his voice actor died before the sequel was made.
I can't lie, I've never finished Cars lol. I didn't even know there was a trilogy.
Lol
Love the Doofenshmirtz intro!! Seriously, girl, you’re so freaking funny!!🤣
Ps: I love your reaction to cars, you make everything you see funny
i remember getting tow mater in my happy meal and being so angry... also, cars 2 should've been a spin-off, not a sequel
plsss 😭😭😭 i dont know why thats funny
The fact that the cars can write clearly on paper is something I wish was brought up cause i had to rewind & attempt to make sense of it
love your watching disney movies again! what’s ur fav disney movie?
Uhh… that’s hard Mulan or the Lion King
I never really cared for the franchise, but watching your reaction was funny!
WHAT'S WITH THESE HATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Your editing is so funny! Made me laugh so many times. :)
I could’ve sworn I watched the 3rd movie but apparently I didn’t 🧐🧐
15:05 ☠️
“are they gonna kiss? do i wanna see two cars pecking? idk” lmao
If they kissed, i’d be sick🤢🤢🤢
@@honeycat3590 that’s valid
@@peterfedorchuk what do you mean?
I actually like cars 2
your reaction is so funny and the editing is amazing
I love these movies and I’m glad you did too! And I totally get ur criticisms bout McQueen not racing enough and all that stuff
And I think the second movie being about Doc and Lightning would’ve been adorable if docs va didn’t die
Anyways I’d like to grant you with the cars 3 alternate ending my friend showed me a few days ago
So basically, Sterling tells Lighting that’s he’s not gonna be in the race and Cruz is gonna be number 95
So of course McQueen gets like upset but then the Dinoco dude comes in and says that he’s been waiting for Lightning and that he could be the new Dinoco racer
So obviously Lightning takes it and he gets to be in the blue paint at the end and gets number 51 (docs number) instead of Cruz
So both Cruz and Lighting would’ve been able to race Storm
I’m not exactly sure who was supposed to win but i thought It was an interesting ending
Here’s the video I got it from but yea :3

19:06 "Fragilé. Hmm, sounds Italian"
as an early 2000s kid, i've seen all of these cars movies. cars is an awesome original movie, so many memorable moments. cars 2 was incredible despite what ppl say but i understand the hate, but i'm a mystery lover and the quick mystery within the mystery made my excitement tingle. i've seen cars 3 but it was the movie i've seen once because i've grown up and was focused on getting better at school, also it wasn't displayed on disney much so i can watch it over again, but i wish to watch it again (sad but true). it was a cool franchise, rip paul newman 🕊
Lakia give me an apology right now for disrespecting Cars 1🙄
😅😅😅
@@LakiaJaiTV oh nawwww you sticking by it too!!!??
@@ImKiingg 😭😭😭 I’m dead
@@LakiaJaiTV lol Lakia i just wanted to say i love your content you are very entertaining and talented ❤️
this is my favourite disney pixar franchise! cars is my favourite pixar movie ever since i was younger
I remember my friends and I were so confused about this universe like where did the baby car come from?
I defended the cars fans all day every day
32:10 In the MASCAR world, we call that a Mickey win. No joke.
The first one is genuinely amazing idc!
Also the movie's soundtrack is so GOOD!!!
specially Finn Mcmissile's theme
The Incredibles has a lot of carnage
@@danejenkinson-tv9kvThat’s true. Even if a lot of it was off-screen
If you think the "Cars" movies are crazy, then you need to watch the two "Planes" movies too.
I've always had a fondness for Cars 1. I watched it so many times. I'm not familiar with 2 and 3 so I'm definitely biased.
1:15 after watching that final destination movie I never want to go to a car racing event
wish u watched them individually love the 1st and 3rd. 2nd is like a mix of emotions xD
Life is a highway is such a nostalgic and great song, I actually got to see the original singer Tom Cochrane in concert, seeing the song in concert was such a surreal experience, and I got a high five from him
yo cruiz and jackson enemies to lovers?
why do I love that idea???
“We’ve literally never saw Lightning McQueen win..”
😶😀🙁😶😦🤯🤯🤯
Literally NEVERRRR and years later, I only JUST noticed 😂😂
i have been to a car thingy event and it was loud but it was really cool i went because a friend was in the race he didn't win but he got 2nd place but anyways it was really cool and i would recommend it although there is quit a few crashes i really find it interesting😍❤👍
👇
The people who called his franchise bad are haters
I live in Daytona Beach where the Daytona 500 and NASCAR is hosted and I can confirm we LOVE the Cars trilogy lol
“I saw a dinosaur. Dinoco. How does that make sense?” You need to watch cars on the road to find out
“Oh, my ears!” Trying going to a real NASCAR race 😂
I'm living for the intro bruh
Cars 3 making mcqueen not race his final race i think was scrapped but either ways mcqueen would have beaten storm not as easy as if mcqueen was in his Prime which is cars 2(which people think isnt canon but kinda is) cars 3 mcqueen would have easily been able to produce speeds of 207-208mph if he were drafting storm seeing that mcqueen speed is literally 202-203mph on aspalt cause dirt slows him down to 198-200mph
Doc didn't died but Paul Newman did!
You don’t know Lakia, Mater is such a character in the Hindi dubb of these movies.
Cars and Cinderella both got the sequel right the second time (third movie) around
I take the second movies of both trilogies as a The Lion King 1½ situation
doc was voiced by Paul Newman (RIP)!
I’m glad you googled bc the original Life Is A Highway does it for me, it has a little more Rock in it, it’s got a bite
Rascal Flatts did their thing with the cover bc it feels very innocently fun for the children’s movie
Edit: I need to find a mashup of the RF instrumental with Tom’s vocals bc that would be ultimate freedom
