Un señor hizo un comentario muy desagradable en Inglés, el que se puede leer más abajo. Me sorprende mucho lo que él dijo ya que si bien la ciudad es gris, ésto es en cuanto a su clima ya que su gente es muy agradable, educada y alegre (no hay que confundir ruidoso por alegre). He ido dos veces, la segunda por estudios y estuve un mes. Me parece una ciudad muy bonita, interesante, segura, de mucho valor arquitectónico (especialmente en La Candelaria) e histórico. Me gusta mucho la cantidad de actividades de todo tipo que hay, y si bien no es la ciudad perfecta, porque eso no existe, es mi ciudad preferida y ya estoy planificando mi regreso. Me fascina su frío, sus parques, teatros, iglesias y museos, así como lo verde que hace un contraste perfecto con su constante nublado.
Me encanta Colombia y Los Colombianos. Son amigables y les gusta que ustedes sean sus invitados. He estado allí dos veces y planeo volver pronto para un tercero.

Beautiful country. For a safe stay, stay in the North area. South areas are not nice or safe. Bogota goes by “estratos” 1-3 is bad area and 4-6 area a good areas specially 5-6 are wealthy areas. Always do your travel accompanied by people you know.

Colombia is a beautiful and - from my experierence - also a widely safe country.
However, Bogotá is not really worth to see! Most of the city is dirty and ugly. Traffic is horrible. Also, the famous La Candelaria is nothing special. There are a handful of streets, the Plaza Bolivar ....and all are crowded with visitors. Thats it!
There are definitely better old historical barrios to visit, e.g. old town of Cartagena etc. The city of Medellin is for sure - sorry to say as I know people from Bogotá do not like to hear it - much nicer!

it seems like the center of the city but there are so good areas! u must do a better search for where u go in ur travels! In bogota u can stay in the north of the city is so nice!
