- The Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll divorce details are trickling out and we are able to get a better picture of where the marriage went wrong. It appears that after the birth of their child, the priorities for Rory and Erica began to diverge. After the delivery of divorce documents in the state of Florida, the person has 20 days to respond which Erica failed to do.

Tiger lost around 1/8th of his wealth at the time. I believe Elin got $150M when he was near $1B. Overall, that's a good loss. Rory's wife's reasons are weird, "He's golfing too much." Duh, that's what allows you to have a Tuscan Villa, $25M home in the richest zip code in America, and a $300K car. I'm sure he relented by dropping off the Players Committee/ Policy Board to appease her. But it sounds like it was an act to say in the divorce, _"I tried to appease her, but it wasn't enough."_

Just my opinion… but looking at the circumstances, the report of her being “lonely” makes me think there is an extramarital affair a foot. After winning an event and coming come that Sunday and filing for the divorce that same day seems a little strange.
You could be correct on the infidelity, havent seen that yet, but their individual priorities seemed to change when their child was born.
