I loved playing in scrambles. 2, 4 and even 5 man. Yes 5. Ha. We were salty as heck as I had my God daughter (played college and could reach the green on par 4's from the ladies, as well as nephew (college golfer) and brother in-law (hs coach). No handicap as we played in open but it was a great yearly tournament and we placed most years and won two in a row. Finally noticed we were getting beat by the same group by one shot and they would wait to post their scores until we posted them (using gps on carts record each hole). Figured out, after getting bagged twice, what was going on. We stopped posting and they stopped posting the next year and even though they finished in front of us, they waited to post their round. We got screwed. Everyone knew it. We were sick of it, and even though it was a great scramble for a great cause, we protested and got our entry fee back. Never went back and I missed playing it. I won't play with cheats. Had one guy started jumping in our big game and he cheated almost every hole. Had to watch and count his score. We kept our own score cards then but decided to trade. Even then you had to watch every shot as he would cut out a score or find his ball after we saw it go in the woods. Finally I just told him, in front of the group, if he plays, I won't. It wasn't fun not trusting everyone and just enjoying the game. Finally a few of the others said the same. He was out. Gave him chances too but something about a cheater that would toss away his honor over a 3 dollar putt.

I agree with you about the "If" commentary. If I hit all my putts I'd be setting personal records. 🤷🏾‍♂

Even in Golf there's a handi cap system so women can have a chance at beating the men. Because they physically can't hit the ball like a man.

I will probably use Arccos for life. I purchased it at the start of my golf journey. I do not pay a subscription. I also have the link and it has made the system so much more useable. My big issue has been accuracy with recording my shot data. My big break through came when I started recording each club I hit on my score card. Now after my round it just takes 5 minutes to edit my Arccos score card. I love it!

The only way to truly eliminate slow play is to have active marshals staying on golfers. Not rude! But firm and professional.

Great take on LIV. Losing TV access is a HUGE step backwards. time will tell if they can recover, youtube is NOT the answer to becoming a successful golf league.

How is your game looking at this point in the summer?

Im not sure many fans of golf are at all interested in the olympics. Im not sure I was till today. What a wild ending, and it shows the pressure in its purest form. I still think the gold medal will be the hardest "trophy" in golf to win. I base that on many great players will not qualify because of the limited field and the fact that during the best career of 30 years, you will only get 7 to 8 times to win it. Think about that compared to 120 chances to win a major.

I don't hate on LIV golfers like some people- I absolutely LOVE Bryson. But I don't feel bad for Rahm in the slightest. He knew what he signed up for when he put pen to paper and took the money.
