I appreciated this interview so much. To me, Marie definitely is a medium, and if you study mediumship, you realize the use of symbols, such as Woodstock, wearing a nightgown, etc, is a language that develops between the medium and non-physical energies. I'm into non-dual pursuits, but am also open to learning from afterlife communication, NDE's, etc. I salute Rick for making room for an extra sensory and spiritually focused nurse, whose images and insights visibly brought joy to the interviewer. I agree with Marie, that as we reach higher vibratory levels, more people will experience these wonders of communication opening. Thank you both.
five years ago I would have said you were complete full of it... But this is absolutely true except for the free will. the spirit guides are with you ALL the time... I have 8 and I met them all on a medicine called Ibogaine... they are all around us and are us on a slightly different frequency... it's amazing how much spirit medicine can show... its so profoundly beautiful.....
I found Marie to be warm and joyful and enjoyed the talk. One thing that I wondered about however (and would welcome thoughts - though not from the more cynical types below please!) was what all these guides would be up to? I mean imagine you had 30 people accompanying you wherever you went and kept on giving you advice to do this or that. Sounds pretty confusing to me. And also I wondered about the idea that most reincarnate only every 100 years or so. I have heard many other opinions on this so which is right? I seem to remember Dhwajl Khul (via Alice Bailey)saying that it was common for those who seek to serve to incarnate almost immediately. I think most of us still need to strongly acknowledge that we don't have the foggiest clue as to why we are here, why this universe is here, why anything exists at all, or who we are. But Two truths I hold dear and which we can be sure about are these : 1. Though most of the time we hallucinate otherwise every other being is as real as we are and potentially suffers just as much as we do. 2. Each being is utterly unique. Living by these two truths one can go a long long way - perhaps a significant part of the way even. Most of the spiritual greats have told us to love others. But before we can love others we surely need to acknowledge their existence first!
I was also wondering what these guides would be up to but more importantly, what evidence is there that guides even exist? If they do exist; how would they contact us and how would one differentiate between a guide speaking and our own imagination? As for reincarnation... if there are many worlds out there as is claimed by many of these 'spiritual' folk then why would we keep coming back to this physical world of suffering and hardship? Wouldn't it be like repeating grade one over and over? I also found Marie to be warm and joyful but like so many of these 'spiritual' folk, she makes many claims while offering little evidence. I am interested in parapsychology and some of the associated topics such as NDEs and OBEs (because I've had one), but again, many claims are made but little evidence is provided. I have read and enjoyed many of the books by authors such as Robert Monroe, William Buhlman, Tom Campbell, Albert Taylor and Robert Bruce to name a few, but this stuff just doesn't have the robustness of mainstream science.
MrToby9999 Agreed Mr Toby. But although it might seem like a cop out if someone had very powerful and provable paranormal powers (telekinetic, telepathic etc.) they would be instantly famous if they demonstrated it which I doubt would be very desirable. As far as what the guides are up to and whether its in one's imagination or not I wonder if this could be proven by hard science. I consider the jury to be open - but it may be that the jurors will always be our subjective selves.
Check out her audio book called Communicating with your spirit guides- i really liked it and all of your questions will be answered. Has some great meditations for connecting with your guides.
Marie Manuchehri A nice interview. You may want to look at spirit guides as both relatively fixed and relatively non fixed form. It is just my experience.
I am not sure on the Kundalini and joy perhaps, but that it was intense pain in my feet that I was trying to concentrate on. Felt like a beehive buzzing through the feet and on up. I don't think I would wish it on most people. You must feel as if there is nothing else you would rather discover and be completely authentic and have done many years of self discovery and self love and feelings.
Marie appears to be very genuine. She may experience spirit guides etc.But how do we know if they are real. She may be imagining them.Even imagined guardian angels etc. are real to an extent having an imagined reality and are virtually as real as anything else......but its a fine line...
This guy has a small percentage of respect for this Women. He is being in competition with her, and really it's with his self. Also, I would rather Hear I Believe, than I Know. People watching this Video will end up listening easier hearing those words, Believe! D.C. O'Hagarty
Am I just the buzz (communication) of neurons? Right now, I feel/sense/experience/hear myself as... ...Aware, Intense, very Dynamic Energy. I feel that... ..."there is a lot going on inside my head"... ...in this very moment. I think (I am not sure)... ...Douglas Harding described the head as being empty... ...or, there being no head. I don't feel it that way at all. I sense head as a very dynamic, alive, very active space. Perhaps, I am witnessing billions of neurons communicating on billions of pathways... ...directly and I am aware of that almost constant buzz. For whatever reason, one day, I woke up hearing/sensing this and since then, I have been hearing/feeling it on and off. Quieter I get, more clearly I hear/sense it. More occupied I get with thinking, less I hear/sense it. When I start worrying or daydreaming or watching an engaging movie or sports, I don't notice it at all. When I get quieter, I meditate or start falling asleep, I hear/sense it a lot. Am I this buzz of the neurons and also the witness of it? Maybe. The act of describing it, the act of language... ...engages neurons in yet another way... ... changing the very experience, the very communication... ...I am attempting to describe. Witnessing this "communication of neurons"... ...in an effort to understand it... ...changes the very experience, the very communication... ...I am attempting to describe. Do you experience anything similar? If you truly found out that... ...you are nothing more than the... ..."communication of the neurons"... occurring right now... would you be happy and content with it or would you get depressed and demotivated? Do you need to believe in a "soul" or something grander than a "soul" in order to feel "worthy"? Is the idea of just being created by the brain right now ...and, in every moment... ...in order to support the body/creation/nature/God/Universe... ...too depressing?
Drop the idea of the free will and choice... ...and... ...the suffering loses its legs. Consider that things are already pre-determined and are set-in-motion by the power far beyond your control, knowledge and comprehension... ...and... ...the suffering loses the ground to walk on... ...the space... ...to fly in. Consider the idea that your own brain, your own body, your intelligence, your intellect and every idea and thought that you ever had and that you might ever have... ...is the product of the same Reality against which you might wish to win. Consider the idea that everything and everyone that you might dislike, oppose or resist... ...too... ...is the product of and is sustained by the same Reality which supports your own thoughts, brain, body and intelligence. Consider the idea of Karma or dependent origination or cause and effect or the interdependence of thing or all things being connected and the Law of the Responsibility or Dharma sets in. 1. Destiny - all things are predetermined - know that you are not the true doer 2. No real free will - know that even your idea of choice is already predetermined by the kind of the body, brain, intelligence, intellect and inborn tendencies and preferences you are born with, the environment in which you are born, the family and society you are born in and the food (senses, news, information, water, air, food) that consume. 3. Karma and Dharma - all things are interconnected - have that awareness - have that knowledge - act with that knowledge and awareness whenever you have that awareness and knowledge. Only those who have this awareness and knowledge can have true wisdom and discrimination. The future of the society fully rests on them alone. Those who don't have this awareness and knowledge are completely bound and are completely devoid of any choice. In my view, the above three are among the foundations of the Sanatana Dharma.
+Jeff Royer I might be a very "weird" and "strange" person. Other way of saying it, I might have a very complex brain. Another way of saying it, I might have a very complex thinking.
+Jeff Royer You are ( I am) not much more responsible for the kind of the person... ...the human body is... than you are for the kind of hair that the human body has.
+Jeff Royer How can I serve is the only right question. To love is the only right attitude. To surrender and forgive is the only right path. To know that I am not in true control of things, event or the universe, I am not in true control of even this very body that is called mine is the only right knowledge. I don’t even control its cell division, immune system, digestion, respiration nor I truly control how it ages and changes with age and how it gets hormones and loses them nor do I control how it gets disease. That whose creation is this entire universe is only one in true control, is the only cause behind all things and events. That alone knows what is truly best. That alone knows what is good and bad. When I forget the above, I step into error and confusion and ultimately into suffering.
*Roughly a -1.0 on the new -3 to +3 scale. Disclaimers at the end of the comment.* One of the cheesiest wastes of time ever, and that is true even if she does have some subtle perception and isn't just on a business commercial here. Rick invited her with the explicit intention to get her cosmological contributions, and all she returns is very vague new age platitudes that you get in *any* introduction to new age phantasies, except maybe a few little ornamentations of how some of her spirit guides looked like little pyramids - which is funny because her main one looks like Sean Connery, oh well. For instance 1:27:54 : That question was pretty unmistakeable and clear, and what follows is her loooong evasion. *"I don't know" would have been an honest answer. No cosmology points for that kind of disingeniousness I am afraid !* I keep noticing how often she opens her eyes wide in order to stress a mighty important point - when really she just repeats what she had said before how everthing is vibrating and the vibration speeds up. Do we really need almost 2 hours of repetition of what you could have read in an introduction to some Shirley MacLaine text ??? *No wonder this woman is beaming at the end of the show over how she could pull this off and talk through a 2 hour interview saying almost nothing original at all !* Of course as usual with new agers, her lips are dripping with demonstrably wrong assessments of our time. As things get demonstrably and massively worse, they keep interpreting all this as getting better - the usual rap. I won't get into detail here, but you have been warned ! Of course, Rick in his addiction to political correctness chimes in, because we all know that if you disagree that things get better, you are 1. negative, 2. caught in your mind 3. a loser 4. a conspiracy theorist,.... you name it. Only once did he bring up a decent point here at 1:12:18 but after she then immediately just ignored the facts and repeated the wishful thinking - no significant opposition from Rick. *As usual with his addiction to pseudo-harmony and wishful thinking, Rick never holds people to what they say and confronts them with their inconsistenices ! Instead he finds some quote in the vedas or the gita for every absurd proposition such people bring up. If there was free will, nobody would ever have sexual or romantic problems because if you want to fulfil your desires, just desire whatever you can get ! After all, you have free will ! And if you want to counter that the subject of the free willing is some transcendent spiritual aspect of myself, then *to call that freedom is simply to rename slavery to that higher purpose into "freedom"*, what a cheap trick ! But whatever that higher self wants, if it wants anything, then it means that it too is not free. To be free would imply that there *is* no necessity or wanting in that higher self. *Because it wants, it isn't free. "Freedom" and "will" are simply a contradiction in terms. If you are conditioned by a will, it means your (inner and/or outer - total) situation is not perfect yet, and that means you are a slave to that conditioning situation and not free.* And how nice all this sounds in the ears of the tyrants, the super rich, the oppressors: because yeah, *if I rape you bitch, it is what **_you_** have wanted in your free will and I am just serving you humbly and take the pains to lower myself to the degree necessary for you to get your experience. The Rick fella is funny though, isn't he? Bout as liberated as George Bush. Still he bangs on and on, another video, another tale about when he was with some old guru years ago, imagine trying to live with him! There's an hilarious video where some old flakey doll tells him that he's enlightened and he replies 'oh thank you very much'. Couldn't make it up.
She says "I believe" very frequently. Belief and direct knowledge are opposite. One only needs belief when one doesn't actually know. Her explanations sound like her theology. Beliefs are worthless baggage on the path to enlightenment.
Diane Vidmar Diane I would argue strongly that to live is to believe. Everyone has some kind of myth of code by which they live their lives. The apparent intellectual hero of the American neo-Atheist camp Sam Harris is obsessed by the idea that we must give up beliefs. Yet I argue he believes in "science" an approach which is a mere 3 or for centuries old and he seems to believe too in the wonders of modern materialism which he wants the whole world to share (Also he believes that he is American - which is nothing more than a concept floating in the wind). It seems to me you have a strong belief that you shouldn't have beliefs. I don't "see" things in the way that Marie claims to, yet I try to imagine what it would be like if I did - and how it would be when others accused me of being at best being fanciful or at worse lying. "Beliefs are worthless baggage on the path to enlightenment" is a belief and is not your opinion but has been borrowed from elsewhere. How can you possibly know that Marie isn't seeing things a whole lot clearer than you are? I don't know you but judging by your comment I would guess she does. Seems like you're going need to do a whole lot more loving -of self first and then others - my friend.
I appreciated this interview so much. To me, Marie definitely is a medium, and if you study mediumship, you realize the use of symbols, such as Woodstock, wearing a nightgown, etc, is a language that develops between the medium and non-physical energies. Thank you for doing such a great job interviewing Marie! And thank you, Marie, for doing the work you do for all of us!
I love this talk and I love Marie!
I enjoyed this very much. Thanks!!
I absolutely loved this interview! Thank you so so so much Rick for all your work. Happy holidays and much peace to you.

Actually the S in 'Livernois' is silent Livernoy is how we pronounce it.

Abbi Shanti And I guess you guys know!
David Watermeyer I don't know, nor do I claim to know.
I believe that saying "I believe" is a sign of maturity and egolessness. Saying "I know" would be a sign of spiritual immaturity.
Diane Vidmar sure. but I must believe that my house is there before I go home to it.
