Saw them live last month, recorded-live-versions sounds shit compared to being there. One of those bands that if you are lucky enough to see them at concert, they will blow your mind.
I can fully attest to this, I saw them at Green Man festival in South Wales. Had no idea who they were and never knew the name of them until today when I did some research; their live set absolutely slapped. In the rain, shite weather yet i was mesmerized by this band. Their name was away from me for years until I went through the whole green man festival line up today... a big weight off my shoulders because man these guys are mesmerizing live.
🙄🙄🙄 yes she’s terrible. 30 years in the music industry, puts on incredible live shows, gay rights activist, breast cancer survivor, known to be one of the sweetest, most down to earth celebrities...so terrible.
hilarious how the drummer samuel toms from temples just cuts his personality, hair and style into whatever band he is in lmao. corporate sell out pretending not to be a universal music group sell out
Sorry, I got that wrong, I actually love this band and know about the squatting, my railing was at the festival really it’s become a middle class affair like so many other festivals in the uk.. latitude being another , summer sundae before it vanished.. and given how the middle class removers are showing their true colours regarding what they think of the rest of us , I just took a swipe at all of the tossers.. stormzy wears a stab vest with a Union Jack on it designed by banksy and uses David lamy's words as inspiration and then trots out all the inaccurate tropes about blacks being persecuted in London, even though it is largely blacks stabbing blacks... and guess what ... ? The leftie London types lap it up and cheer maniacally... tossers, the lot of em. Tossers festival for leftie tossers... with a wall built all round it to keep the uninvited and non paying ones out... oh the irony!,
@@boogieboxmusic4331 You're right about the festival, it's become very much a haven for wealthy white people to complain about things that they either have no experience of or have any sincere interest in changing. This band however are far less pretentious despite their image and the fact they may have originally came from relatively sheltered backgrounds, the way they coated off idles was fucking brilliant.
@@evan2173 I only say that because they were formed in peckham, and i was raised not far away and know they don't have their roots in working class SE london, they're from a different background altogether, but one that has seem them face plenty of hardships. I don't really see them as a class based band either, quite universal in their approach to life, they're not jumping on any particular bandwagon unlike bands like idles. And to touch on your comment about racial profiling, i can assure you mate we're all profiled, I'm white but from a predominantly black estate and was stopped constantly, because of where i was and what i looked like. Just like football fans are profiled and treated like shit depending on how they dress, who they support, it's more a social standing problem than a racial one in my eyes and from what I've experienced.
@@evan2173 But most of the people that like them and go to see them are middle class, that's the large make up of their fanbase, like it or not. But i don't think that bothers them at all, that's what i mean by class-based, i don't see them pitting one group against another. And as for akala, i have to say i disagree, i find him full of excuses and lacking in answers, i can tell you right now why there's a specific problem with black crime in london right now, and it's got fuck all to do with racism. They are posh boys... London types... not bad music though..
Stormzy is more a london type than these lads, hipsters are nigh on always from outside the city. Middle-class suburbanites.

Couldn't sing to save himself which is a pity because the rest of the band are good musicians.
Sounds awful
So fake and polished
They need to get rid of the lead man because he can't sing to save his life which ruins the live performance.
fuck u poster brat
Wrong
Sad, but true:(
