Spa Francorchamps retirement! Onboard footage of us crashing out after huge tyre explosion!

- We crash out of race 2 at Spa Francorchaps due to a tyre exploding! The puncture span us into the gravel and we had to retire the car. The weekends racing in the modified Ford series was going great up until the blow out but the last race wasn’t meant to be for us. Still a great experience lining up on the grid and racing round this iconic track!

Yeah could of been a lot worse and we found the arch so shouldn’t be too hard to fix ready for the next one!

I think we’re going to RS Coombe for a bit of drifting. There’s a rally coming up that’s being discussed, we’re not doing the next round of Modified Fords, I think we’re doing the one after. Need to sit down and work out the diary 😂
Josh, you are a seriously good driver, hitting those Apexes proper, putting that mk2 sponsored car & others under pressure. Unlike the tyre Avon a crack ....

@@avin_the_crack keep up with the videos to. Loving them. Reminds me when I was younger with clapped out old escorts. And putting 2 ltrs in them out of any old transit or what ever and thrashing it till it blows and doing it all again. Great work vids and driving 👍

Very well done there lads considering the steering issue all weekend and too bad about the puncture. Did it look like it could have used a taller diff ratio on those straights. Really enjoy the content from Boston Ma.
Cheers, yeah it’s more set up for short bursts and twisty sections. I think we’re trying a different gearbox soon 👍🏽
Gutted for you. The tina was going well. I must say it was most impressive getting the car moving and out of harms way so quickly, good stuff.

There’s a stage coming up at Cadwell, raced there a few times so won’t have to learn the track during qualifying!

We’ve been thinking that we should be getting a bit more out of it. We’re going to change the gearbox first and see if that frees it up a bit
