I love how well you explain everything and keep your videos short and sweet as some videos I watch on whatever I want to watch before a lesson sometimes go on for ages so I get bored and go to the next one but the length of your videos r really good and with lots of information and explanation. Love it
Thank u Francis. I wish u were my instructor . I'm in East London. My instructor is quite. Your talkative . I think with u in would of learnt quickly then I'm learning with my instructor. No idea why but your to good. Thank u
I have my Part 3 coming up third attempt, I am doing some revision and watched many videos. Your videos are the best yet, very sharp, clear and no waffling. Thanks
Great video. Could you maybe do another one about faster roads, say 40-70 mph, and how to gain confidence at those speeds? I'm finding it really hard to put my foot down!
Hey Melissa thanks! I've worked hard on a few really good roundabout videos the team are just editing them now. Subscribe to the channel and you'll catch them as soon as they're up 😊
These videos are extremely helpful! Please make more. Also I hope u don’t mind but can u slow down when u speak, I find I have to go back to really understand the good points you make
Excellent video and clear explanation! Thanks so much for the guidance. 🙂 One thing called my attention @4:31. Is it ok to overtake the cyclist at the zig-zag, or it breaches article 191 of the Highway code?
Whatever you saying I have done my test today road was narrow two side parking car. Hillside up and down. And the examiner after 35/40 mins of driving at the end saying I have failed because of inappropriate reduced speed. Can I appeal against them.
Hi, Francis! Thank you for displying the dashbord video on speed. In London, although you see speed limits less than 50mph. With such a speed limit how we can change gears to match higher speed than 20?
Great video! Question - I see you stay in 2nd and never go down to 1st gear in tight situations or around blind/tightish bends. I tend to do this on my lessons because 1- I feel like I have more control of the car. 2- because I fear the car will start to rumble if I go below 10mph. Is my technique wrong? or am I just lacking experience ?
Hey good question. It's really dependent on your speed. If you're in a tight situation and need to pass a parked car closely then your speed needs to be appropriate to the level of risk - so go slow. There's a box on the examiners marking sheet called clearance to obstructions and if your speed is too high relative to how close you are to the obstruction, like a parked car, that's when you'll get marked down. Hope that helps!
I noticed you overtook a cyclist on a pedestrian crossing zigzag area, isn't that a fail,???? and shouldn't you be setting an example by not taking both hands off the steering wheel when talking ..
another great vid Francis! 👏

My instructor gets on to me about my breaking so If you could do a video on like progressive breaking or how to break gently that would be helpful
Thanks for the suggestion! Great idea.
Thank you!!
Thanks mate!
@4:32 shouldn't have overtaken the bicycle because of the zigzag lines at the pedestrian. :) Thanks for all your helpful videos!
Excellent video and clear explanation! Thanks so much for the guidance. 🙂

what if an hazard happens that is out of your control will you still fail?
This is pretty fire

Can you make more videos on parking and the types of parking they mark and test you on in the driving test, thank u 😁👌
I've got videos for each parking manouvre on the way… stay tuned!!
How about the big speed like 60/70 sometimes no signs but how can I know I need to drive faster?
great
How to make the reference marks for right & left judgment?
Thanks

Really helpful! Would you be marked down for going low speed passed parked cars but not giving a 1m gap?

You're very welcome!
i literally live in this area, so weird that im watching it in a video
😂😂😂
riding the clutch
But you are not suppose to overtake on zigzag lines
motorbikes going into lanes where cars already are needs to be prosecuted

You just overtook a bike on a pedestrian crossing zig zag. That is an endosorable offence
