I agree with you. just found it coming from watching another instructor on "turning right at traffic lights" I knew immediately that i had to subscribe immediately. Great lessons, great explanations. One of the best out there.
Absolutely fabulous video. I've watched so many different tutorials in the hope of finding that elusive "lightbulb moment" when it comes to junctions etc. So many good videos out there but NONE contained EVERY point I wanted to know about. This does just that, and none were presented as well as this. Clear, concise and to the point. Thanks so much.
From Canada and I watched all your videos. Extremely helpful since, basically, I needed to learn to drive from scratch in the UK! Would advise anyone coming from North America to review all these videos.
Great video! I'm an European driver who hasn't driven for several years. I'm doing a refresher driving course and have found your videos so helpful, particularly as I haven't driven in the UK before my lessons. 😊
I'm loving your videos. Thank u so much. I'm a bit stress my test coming up. So I'm just watching all the videos over and over. But your videos are so helpful and understanding . Bless u.
You haven't explained how the pedals work though on approach. This is what I'm struggling with. I keep stalling as I'm turning. The other stuff is fairly easy and just a case of remembering to do it.
Hey you're really good bro diagrams and real life examples very useful refresher info for veterans like me Nice to know I remembered more than I first thought thanks keep up the good work 💗🙏💗
Hello instead of stopping at the end of the road it possible to keep the car going slowly and creeping without always stopping for example approach slowly change down to first gear then off the brake and set the gas and bring the clutch to the bite and balance these and edge slowly forward to get a better view, if you do have to stop then clutch down and brake
You will need to come to a full stop before moving past the "stop line" in order for it to be legal. Once you have come to a full stop, you can then creep forward in order to see further down the road if you vision is being obstructed.
Any chance you can do a video approaching t junctions at the end of a road on a flat and uphill but also use the foot cam to see what you are doing with the pedals?
Hi. Im from India and I use these videos to improve my driving. I do have a query. When approaching a T junction, minor to major, suppose you have to turn right and it is a busy T junction. Then the right turn involves crossing the road where traffic moves from right to left on the major road. Finding a gap can be harrowing. My strategy usually is to edge forward once this right to left road is clear and wait for an opportunity at the left to right road. Often this ends up temporarily blocking the right to left road but it cannot be helped if you want to go forward. Otherwise finding a moment where both directons are clear is next to impossible and you'll hold up traffic on the minor road. What strategy would you recommend? Should I wait anyway, even it it takes forever or should I take the above chance ? Or something else.
at 1:17 u said if you are turning from major to minor road and there is a single while broken line, then it means I have the priority. But isnt it wrong? I know that single broken line means pedestrians have priority here and turning right gives us NO right of way, in this case the oncoming traffic also has the priority (though the video was uploaded a long ago)
My perception of the T junction-rule is that a driver turning in a T junction must yield right-of-way for other vehicles approaching the junction; if two vehicles turn at the same time in a T junction, the right-turning driver must yield for the left-turning or, if both turn to right, for the vehicle approaching from the left (in left-hand traffic).
Hello. Can you please advise when I should be starting to brake when coming to junctions and traffic lights? I do it too quick every time because I’m scared I’ll stop too late! Thank you
Thanks a lot sir for this beneficial video !! First time I failed for cutting corner. Now I understand from your video what is called cutting corner. So is this only cutting corner just right side? Or any cutting corner mean on roundabout? Plz reply me .
I did my first practical today, so when at a junction, signal about a six car length, check mirrors. Then you should let go of the acceleration to slow down. While the car is moving, at the end of the junction, check left and right If clear go. But only stop at the junction if cars are coming, which is clutch down and footbrake, after clear then go.
1:19 hey you mentioned if you’re turning into that minor road with single broken white lines, you have priority...can you elaborate on that, priority over whom?
Hi. Thanks for your very informative video tutorials. Somewhere at the end, you made a comment "handbrake, neutral, relax...". Are you suggesting the vehicle when parked, should be placed in neutral gear with the handbrake fully up (engaged)? If that's the case, does this only apply to manual cars or automatic transmission cars as well?
When Turing right from a minor road to a major road, if there a good gap on the right with another car , would you move out into the middle of the road and wait from the traffic from the left to give way to you?
Doing my ADI part 3 and love your videos. Because you get to the point. 1h plus has too much chit chat. Will you be updating thus in light of the new HC regs?
I am from Saudi Arabia, i found your video very help as well as your channel. I wish you speak slower though for your forign audience 😁 but overall thank you so much for good information.
I struggle with moving off from the side roads when the road I'm entering is clear but I'm trying to position and get the car ready and because the road is clear I rush and end up stalling. I don't get how to get the biting point quick 😕
Only in South Africa do see a stop sign on major road and non on a minor, got confused with that rule when I in that country. And turning full beam lights in broad daylight
I wonder why the T-junction rule applies only in the U.K.? Most of other European countries (with right-hand traffic) have the rule priority-to-the-right at junctions without priority signs and traffic signals (including three-way junctions).
You know I hate roads like this, there's a place I go to get my MOT and when I leave I have to turn onto T junction like the one in the example animation. Problem is it's quite narrow and there are cars parked on both sides blocking my view, plus it's quite busy with cars passing left and right. I always get really nervous as I inch out afraid I'll get hit I've done it a few times and had a close call once.
Honestly don’t know how this channel doesn’t have more views and subscribers 💪🏾
I agree with you. just found it coming from watching another instructor on "turning right at traffic lights" I knew immediately that i had to subscribe immediately.
Great lessons, great explanations. One of the best out there.
The instructor is very good. But for non native he speaks pretty fast
How clever you must be to take youtube lessons for turning right and left?
Maybe I must make video how to drive a lift from 1st to 4th floor.

Good idea! We can definitely look into it :)
6:45, would you then wait on the main road till they come out of the side road if they don’t give you priority?
Amazing tutorial! Great job- it really helped me.
Fantastic video! I’m really struggling on this at the moment!
Great video, thank you so much

pz show downshifting and dealing with reduced speed during changing gears
Do you have the video about driving roundabouts, ideally Mitcham, Croydon ?
Ur videos r really really helpful 😍

How do I handle the clutch and break when I slow down at the junction?
Who has priority when I'm turning right into minor road off major and there's a car waiting to come out on the minor road please?:)

Really very detailed helpful videos, could you please do a session on moving and bringing a car to a.stop? Thanks
We actually have a video up on our channel already that you might find useful! ruclips.net/video/LqD9aVtdiuo/видео.html
Thanks
Is it the same speed approaching junctions and give way driving automatic
Please brother do you know of any reliable driving instructor like you that cover Croydon? I need a very good instructor like you, thanks
Apart from the mechanics of things I'm learning automatic so I assume it will all be the same

hi, I'm sorry but should it not be mirror signal speed position look
Foot work in this would be good too. But overall great video.
Thanks for the tip, we're glad you found it useful!
Are you able to show what you’re doing with your feet? This is the part I’m getting stuck
Great.

Thank you🙌
What about changing gears ??
What if the road has no line?
10:34 Is that a supra ?!
Liked your videos, could you talk slowly ,your content is really helpful and presented in good way.😊

10:35 is it a...?

I need to see what your legs will be doing as you turn
"I'm slightly on the wrong side of the road" No man, you were on the wrong side all the way.
