I appreciate the commentary but with all the stuff in the way, poor camera angle, & bad lighting, we can't hardly see half of what you are doing. However you do know your trade.
Exactly! worthless video due to all the junk in the shelf. No way you can access from inside. Shots of the dirty overhang of the house don't help me. Otherwise looked like the perfect video for my current dilemma with my door. I have no idea what you are doing with that cable snd that's what I need to SEE not hear about. Can't imagine a homeowner would call a repairman to fix their door and not move the crap in the way.
Picking up the door removes tension off the cables if you were to loosen your set screws on the drum with the door fully down there will be full tension and that will be a mess
This is the best video I’ve watched, even though the camera IS bad, the content is extremely helpful pertaining to this problem with the garage door. I unwounded one side of my garage door while replacing the rollers. This is exactly what happened with one side sagging and the wheel popped out on the other. Followed the instruction from this video and I was able to fix the issue. I thought I was going to have to pay for someone to come fix my door. Thank goodness I found this video.
thank you for the video. Was it the top of the door to the middle of that vertical bracket that you were measuring? You referenced the the bolt position also 5'oclock, i'm just trying to put that part of the video together. Thanks again!
As a beginner that knows nothing and never had a garage, I’m watching the part where you said I’m “mustaching the door”. But with the stuff in the way and bad camera lighting and angle. I don’t see exactly what your measuring and where your measuring.
Hey Nehemiah, these videos aren’t tutorials, only meant to show the what it’s like on the job. But we will keep in mind to try to get better camera angles. You can’t always tell when you’re filming because it’s on a chest mount, sorry about that!
I want to start your training. Can I get a link I tried clicking below please sir. My son managed to get my garage door off track. Take it back . I guess My neighbors Dog did it. He won't admit it. However, I am retired and would love to learn through your course.
Customers reach out when they're having issues with their door. The prices are discussed over the phone and payments are by cash, checks, or Venmo usually. We'll try to have a video covering it soon!
@@GarageDoorTrainingSchool you think I can fly out a week or two just for the experience in how you work out the deals and see just how you do things I will work for free!
My bottom roller on the left facing the garage door is very tight and not able to mot. Due to this problem, I am not able to operate the garage door. How to loosen it?
This isn't THE easiest job ive watched you do, with the shelving in the way, other stuff in the way, but to me it looks pretty easy. I'd like to see you do the really tough jobs also. What about rotten or severely damaged framing? What about tons more over packed garages that the homeowner hasn't been able to park the car in the garage for years? You always show the easy peasy jobs...😐 Im an old telephone man and i know there are DIFFICULT jobs out there. Not every job is easy peasy 😅 Do you just say you'll be back once you have reasonable access and whatnot?
There are definitely safety precautions you should take and certain things you should know before doing anything yourself. Our course can teach you this 👍
Thank you for this video i fixed my door in like ten minutes, we were about to call a professional you saved us some money

Holy hell, you are brilliant. While it didn’t take me 15 minutes that bastard is closed and I’m in bed before midnight. Thank you!
Miguel from Florida keep the videos 📹 coming
Thanks Miguel! Will do! 👍
Thanks for your video. I was able to fix my garage door. It was a little struggle by myself, but it worked.

What two points were you measuring on the pulley and cable.?

Finally a new video, more uploads
We have plenty of videos of jobs that just need editing! We'll get them out as soon as possible! Thanks for the feedback 👍
GREAT VIDEO! ANOTHER GREAT JOB GUYS!
Thanks again, Patrick! 👍 Hope you had a great weekend.
Was the tension off the spring? How fid u teset the cable with the spring wound?
You can watch our free lesson on how to do this repair here:

I recommend a silicone based lubricant. Wd40 will only works for a very short period before it’s bone dry again
whats the drum you are talking about? The drum you attached the cable to?

You're very welcome, Cyndee!
It would be nice if there wasn’t so much stuff in the way , you really can’t tell what you’re doing for all the stuff on the shelves in the way .
We apologize! With the various garage setups, sometimes the angles aren’t always the greatest. We’ll work on it for future videos! 👍
Escaped paying 500$ from watching this video! Thank you I really appreciate it! If I could I would pay you thanks again
This job should be nowhere near. 500$ fyi he’s a overpricer that’s a easy fix for a basic labor charge of like 100-150$ flat rate
@@beastap6011 i think it's also going to vary by the state you live in too, he is in California where the cost of living is much higher
@@beastap6011I have this exact issue with 2 cars in the garage

That's great, but I cannot get inside
Great job but every important part was blocked or hidden but thanks for the info 👍🏾
Fair video… camera angles are bad cant see what you are doing! But… good talk!
We appreciate the feedback! We’ll keep that in mind 👍
Good explanation. But you need someone to hold the camera man.
We appreciate the feedback! We’ll keep that in mind 👍
That’s what happened when my cousin garage door was like that
Call a local garage door company in your area
I wish your camera was better placed
We’ll keep that in mind 👍
Would be nice if you actually showed what youre talking about but overall information is very helpful.
that garage is a mess, those people should hire someone to arrange all that stuff.
garage door people quoted me $450 to put door back on track!! i told him no way. after watching a video or two ill do it my self..
There are definitely safety precautions you should take and certain things you should know before doing anything yourself. Our course can teach you this 👍
$450 is not bad price
This could have been a great educational video but he blocked all the important stuff..
Lol I was thinking the same thing 🤦🏻♂️ got me sweating in my garage rite now damn Cali weather 😂
easier way to do this...
Ya poor camera angle
😂😂😂 don't show anything..
Edit more this vid should have been 5 min.
Peach impediments beyond 3 years old are unacceptable
I can’t stand people that have a messy garage and keep the garage as storage. The garage was made to store cars not junk.
