One of the hottest trends right now is the ability to connect a DSLR camera with iPad booth software. iPad booths really came into play because of how easy they were to implement into the boothing world. On the other hand, one of the biggest drawbacks of the iPad booth was the on board camera or photo resolution. Well now you can easily connect dslr to iPad and I’m going to show you how. No, has not changed. I just looked. The only time it doesn’t show up is if it’s not compatible with your device. You would have to be using a very old device a la 2013-2014 for it not to work

@@blancamartinez3654 absolutely, booth.events has an entire gallery of templates you can choose from or you can create your own in Canva / illustrator/ photoshop etc etc

I have IPAD 12
Canon DSLR cameras & mirrorless cameras such as the M50. Please note PowerShot cameras are NOT supported.
Nikon DSLR cameras & mirrorless cameras. Please note CoolPix cameras are NOT supported.
Sony DSLR cameras & mirrorless cameras such as the ZV-E10. Note: The a6000 is NOT supported. Sony a6300/a6500 are supported, a6100/a6400 are supported with slower/limited functionality.
Does the dongle have a power port so it charges the iPad at the same time?
@@Main1Event yes, we is apple mifi certified that allows charging during use.
What kind of cable did you use?
The usb cable that came with the camera. If you have a usb c ipad. You can use this adapter. amzn.to/4gewzWo

What the price for the software
Depends on the plan you get. Starting as low as $19
Why are there only solutions with a paid-service behind.. i wish there will be a free solution in the future that works the same great.. 😮
It only makes sense that software developers charge for their apps.
As a service provider, you would want to support a developer so they can make the app better and better over time so in turn you can make more money.
Doesn’t make any sense for someone to spend $100k in development just to give it away for free.
Are your events free? Was the camera free?
you have to save each photo after taking it and apply a template manually? seems like it wouldn't be ideal
The template is added automatically. The app asks you if you want to retake or save. I had it setup so I can shoot landscape or portrait. In a Photo Booth. You would most likely have it set already.
@@Rexsphotoboothreviews gotcha. so is there any way to bypass that app dialogue when it asks you to retake or save? I'm interested in the app as a photobooth and using a Nikon camera with it, but can't have it repeatedly asking if I want to retake or save the photo. Just need it to save automatically.
@@BryanMiraflor yes, just choose landscape like a standard Photo Booth , should be able to bypass that screen so long as you only have 1 overlay. Sometimes ppl allow multiple overlays and that’s where you choose. If you only have one, then it’s auto
