How to Solve Windows Could Not Start the Service on Local Computer

Problem: Port needed to run the service is already in use. To solve this, first, you must know the port needed. Look for the service or program that uses the same port if the status is already "started" you just need to stop it. After stopping the previous service, "start" the status of the service you want to run.

my error is different, two different of error
1: failed to get startup parameters for service
2: failed to read registry value application

hello Mam , my error is about MySql server 5.5 . while configuring it get error like this:
could not start the service error :0
to solve this i went to the run directory n i searched for MySql server service to restart it . after doing that again i got error which is like this :
Windows Could not stat the MySQL service on a local computer
Error 1067 : the process terminated unexpectedly

Are you looking for windows firewall? If you are using windows 7, go to "Control Panel" then you will see "System and Security" click it then after that you will see the "Windows Firewall" under the "Action Center".
