Brilliant and original playing as always! I just got a JC 40 and I can't believe that amp. How does it sound so good and powerful without any tubes or anything?
@@casperhejlesen Wow, thanks so much for responding! I don't know if it will sound as good if I experiment with it, everything you do you make it sound really awesome. 💫💪
Hey! Amazing tone, and your improv really moved me. I'd like to ask u what's the most important thing to work on to improvise like this? I’ve started transcribing, but I don’t fully get all the concepts you’re using 😖
@@MrMonkyx you have to study close and open triads inversions in all keys and all group of strings. Books of Mick Goodrick, George Van Eps and Ted Greene can help you understand and practice. It takes some time 😃
Hi, thanks a lot! Dynamics, frasing and the use of open strings is what I am working on a lot. The harmonic material is really simple and I don't have any systems or specific material I have checked out... Just be patient and spend some time with it. I played for around 15 years before I started liking my own sound :)
Great playing! One question: how did you made the mute? (PS: Lionel Loueke and Renaud Garcia-Fons make it with a paper Strip) Happy Christmas from Germany!
that tone is wild, absolutely transformed the guitar into something majestic

Uau! Super beautiful! Amazing sound! What exactly is the mute system? Thank you!!
Thanks a lot! It's just a piece of plastic bag attached to a piece of wood. Nothing fancy, but it sounds super cool :)
I like it I like it
Thank you!
very nice
Thank you!
😍
Makes me think of keyboards. Real trippy stuff, would like to know what was used for muting the strings?
It looks to me he has a sort of white fabric(?) damper between bridge and pickup. But Casper has a wonderful touch anyway! ❤
Thanks a lot you guys! It’s a piece of wood with a small piece of plastic bag taped to it

Also, do you have any music on Spotify or Bandcamp?
@@matta.4816 Thanks a lot! It’s a small piece of wood with a plastic bag taped to it. I have 3 albums on Spotify under the name “Casper Hejlesen”

you're mainly on Eb and Ab if I'm not mistaken but how can you access all these inversion so easily :')

fuck yea
how do you get that tone ???
Маэстро!!!😉👻👻👻
Are those frets filed down?
No, these frets are in great shape
what’s the tone exactly?
this sounds like jacob collier if he was (primarily) a guitar player and his music wasnt terribly boring
Sounds a bit like a string quartet playing pizzicato.
I would lose the mute
