Kim you are my hero! Awesome finds! My two favorites are the eye and the splattering lol This is one of the best hunts I have ever seen videoed! Amazing finds and lots of them. It would be very hard to get me to leave that area lol.
Great adventure for the end of the 2024 season! Love those bubble gum agates! Sure seem plentiful at that location. Anticipating the 2025 season. Happy New Year
It's New Year's Day and Lisa and I just watched your wonderful video. What a great way to start the new year. One of my New Year's resolutions is to help you find a softball-sized Fairburn
Love the praying mantis. I don't know if they over winter some place or not. I would have been tempted to take it home with me so good for you for leaving it there. Also, you may not have gotten Fairborn but you sure got some pretty looking rocks!
@@laurie-anncrawford9071 yeah I’m not sure either if they winter or not, and we agree, we may not have gotten the grand prize but we definitely won, thanks for watching!
Thank you guys for another great video. Just what I needed today. I little view of the only place in this world that I’ve been able to find any form of true peace and happiness. The drone chasing you was great 😂
@@waywardwoodward Just wanted you to know that it was through watching your Fairburn hunt videos in the Badlands that it inspired me to head to the Badlands in November and start a new hobby of rock collecting. There is a certain peace there and a spiritual connection I feel there so I get what you are saying. Jensen’s channel here too makes me want to get out there again soon! Thanks you guys!
@ thank you for the kind words. It’s always nice to hear from the folks I may inspire along the way. There’s just something special about ole South Dakota. These guys are gonna find a keeeeeller agate this year! I just know it!
Thanks for the belated Christmas present, Matt, Kim and Abbs! 3:08 looks like a Fairgum/Fairbubble with that caramel fortification background. Let me know if you ever want to sell any of your jawbreakers. Can't seem to find them readily on the web. Happy New Year to y'all 🥂🥳🎉🎇🥂
What do you do with your finds? I trained all of the nuclear capable units in South Dakota in the early 80s. What a beautiful state. I was stationed at ft Carson. I am back in Ohio now hunting for arrowheads fossils and rocks. If you ever get to Michigan on the lake, it’s a rock hounds paradise. Lots of fossils also. Thanks for sharing!
We like to collect them, we are also going to tumble a bunch and see how they turn out, others we will cut and polish, if they work for it we will make some cabs. We really want to go to Lake Superior some day and look around, just haven't done it yet. Thanks for watching!
@@DeezRocks I’m not sure, I might tumble it, if I did I would need a smaller saw with a thin blade or I am afraid it would just destroy it, but we will see. Thanks for watching!
