    It doesn’t sound bad, actually grounds great but I think the tips stick out a bit too much if you ask me. But it’s alright. 👍

    Sounds decent, but I'd use shorter tips.

    I did a similar thing to my mr2 here in the UK and it sounds a lot more like a porsche boxer 4, probably a different manifold. Thanks for the inspiration though folks! Big love from Shropshire! 💜

      Mine too, I had custom 4-2-1 headers into a 3” with a high flow cat, sounded crazy in tunnels!

    Definitely starting to think I might have the loudest 1zz but man that sounds sick

    After sampling a couple of custom exhausts for this car, yours sounds the best...Good work.

    Is that with the stock 1zz?? It sounds too good for the stock motor lol

      Nah. MR2s have good resale value. Even ones with very high mileage go for like $6000 or more

      @Edmund Chen sadly. You can still find some for like $6k but yeah, most people ask crazy amounts. And don’t even look at the dealers that got their hands on them, $14k for this Mid engine Corolla. might as well buy an FRS for that price. I wish I bought an MR2 back when the were only like $3k 😔

      @@tinuthomas531 Prices on those gonna keep on going up. Test drive the FRS and the MR-S. The chassis is more than a "corolla".

    God exhaust work on these cars is SO easy… as long as you don’t have rusty broken bolts

    The MR2.The overseer it has would put you in a ditch if you are not careful. That's a resonated tip so it is technically a resonator. Not exactly straight pipe.

    • @ryanr5812

      You mean understeer right?

    • @KSShel
      @KSShel 3 года назад +14

      @@ryanr5812 Nah, he’s talking about the Snap-Oversteer that was really known about in the SW20 generation. If you weren’t careful, that would be the issue.

    • @Heckk_oh
      @Heckk_oh 2 года назад +3

      Toyota fixed the snap oversteer problem for the most part with this generation, but it’s arguably scarier now that it’s less common

  • @freshtapcoke

    I see lots of bends in that “straight” pipe…
