This is going to be my go-to video for when people ask me what I mean by "monsoon". People who haven't lived in the southwest often don't understand just how much rain gets concentrated into a local area, but this video makes it abundantly clear why terms like "rain bomb" exist.
I fly paramotors in many of the areas pictured here. Can't get enough of time lapse videos of clouds and storms. Absolutely breathtaking work. Thanks so much for making these works of art.
"Stunning" is an overused word, but it is the best for this. This is my favorite weather video ever I think. And the music! Feels like choreography with the editing perfectly timed. Thank you for a breathtaking 12 minutes!
Good morning Mike. Wow, many scenes grab your attention, the colours, the dancing of the lightning along with the music, the beautiful sunsets, rainbows so magnificent. Thank you for sharing Mike. HAGD.
Brilliant! Lightning, rain, clouds, dust and glorious light - all dancing in perfect time with the music. If anyone out there is looking for a definition of the phrase "the art of photography" just point them to this video (and any of the earlier time lapse series). Thank you sir.
Some of the sequences don't even look terrestrial, I'd be sure they were of another planet. So well done; music just adds an element that's hard to describe. Thank you sir. For your efforts and your artistry.
Oh wow...I'm so very sorry for your loss. And I wish she hadn't been afraid, I know storms can be frightening but we know they can be beautiful as well. Hang in there and thank you for letting us know about your pup.
Amazing imagery! Delivered by Mother Nature and captured beautifully and obviously compiled with great care and inspiring vision. I could watch this film a hundred times (and probably will!) and still be in awe of the spectacle of it all. Fantastic presentation across the board. KUDOS Mike O!
Thanks again for your artistry. Seems like you were down in southern Arizona alot. Sharing this with my daughter in Portland as she misses the chaos of the monsoons.
I love the music you use in these. I have often just put these videos on in the car just to hear them. You reused the one from "The Chase" which is one of my favorites.
Outstanding! Your best just keeps getting better! Thanks for sharing Mike, and many thanks to Jina and the Kiddos for letting you film these spectacular scenes!
Mike, I’ve been following you for years and you are definitely an artist. Every year I can’t wait to see your final project and it never fails to impress and inspire. Wow. Just wow.
Just stunning. Thank you for the tremendous effort and passion of following these gorgeous explosions! I’m thinking of the line from Rilke: “Let everything happen to you, beauty and terror…. Just keep going!”
Fantastic!! I'm a Tucson native and love it when these storms come through. But, the lightening is frightening when it starts hitting close. And those dust storms are brutal! Beautifully filmed and I even enjoyed the music. Thank you!!
Outstanding Mike~!! Such an amazing tapestry woven with a James Horner-esque soundtrack~~~~You should have a million subscribers!! thank you for your investment in this series!!!
I appreciate that Alan...I feel like they used to be more of a novelty and now they are things people have seen before, so they aren't as exciting but I do love making them.
The master produces another master work! Amazing! You really captured some especially amazing moments this time. Seeing the rain drop and cause chaos and dust as it lands was especially neat. It's a mystery to me why you don't have a million subscribers at least.
Every time. Every time you mesmerize me with your photography and editing. You show in detail what we all see when we look up at storm clouds and think they aren't moving or doing anything significant. Your editing is spot on also. Thank you!
I've never heard of you. I've never seen anything from you. But for some reason this popped up on my recommended screen and I thought it looked interesting so I watched it. Then I watched it again. Then I sent it to my birthling and we watched it together on our TV. It is stunning! I used to live in Arizona and remember those storms that came through during the monsoon season. This made me nostalgic for that time in my life. Also, if I may say, the music is absolutely _amazing_ and the video is edited to match the music so well that I'm just astounded! I have subscribed just in case you release anything more. Thank you for creating this masterpiece and sharing it with us! Cheers!
Magnificent as usual, Mike! It amazes me everytime seeing how the clouds seem alive with movement. Your editing and the addition of music makes it a work of art. Your time is much appreciated, and I am glad your family is so supportive of your art. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wonderful time lapse photography, Mike. Thank you for making the effort to get out and capture these scenes, and for taking the time to produce this and share for all to enjoy. I recognize a lot of the locations where you shot. Big thumbs up.
Every time I think you've outdone yourself, you prove me wrong. SPECTACULAR, and the music is perfect, well done Kerry, thank you both for this epic vid. Sharing it for sure.
Stunning. IMO, the best work you’ve done, Mr. Olbinski. I don’t think I’m overstating that. As much as I love Níłtsą́, Monsoon 7 just bowled me over… and I’m not sure if it’s the images, the editing or - more likely - both! Thank you for this. I continue to be amazed by Mother Nature and your ability to capture her moods.
The magician has struck again!! Mate, you always bring the goods and this has taken what has always been an incredibly high standard to yet another level of brilliance. So great Mike 😍
Mike - Great as always. For some reason - maybe the color - I'm very fond of the short sequence beginning at 8:00 (about 10 seconds). Some of your work is so beautiful, I just can't stand it!
Thank you, I love that one too! I hung in there with my 50mm lens and it didn't get drops on the lens, and so I just kept shooting and I love the rain lit up by the sun!
I've been shooting timelapse for 15 years. You're definitely my favorite timelapse artist out there. Every edit is 11/10

Heck yeah!
I fly paramotors in many of the areas pictured here. Can't get enough of time lapse videos of clouds and storms. Absolutely breathtaking work. Thanks so much for making these works of art.
Thank you Johnny, you must be so in tune with the weather doing that!
Clouds, Rain, lightning, rainbows and snadstorms - this had everything.
Needs tornadoes? lol
"Stunning" is an overused word, but it is the best for this. This is my favorite weather video ever I think. And the music! Feels like choreography with the editing perfectly timed. Thank you for a breathtaking 12 minutes!
Wow, thank you so much! Favorite!
There's nothing better than having lunch and watching this incredible masterpiece created by you Mike, a great reference! 🤌
Powerful, beautiful and so delicate at the same time. I loved it!
Thanks for that!

Thank you so much Barry!!!
These are the videos that should be played on all TV sets that are being sold in a store!
Amen!
Some of the sequences don't even look terrestrial, I'd be sure they were of another planet. So well done; music just adds an element that's hard to describe. Thank you sir. For your efforts and your artistry.
Thank you Jon!
As A Self Proclaimed Time Lapse Nut , This Is Hands Down The Best Video On The World Wide Web - Absolutely Mesmerizing Footage

World Class storm cinematography!
Appreciate that!!!
WOW... Such a beautiful and awesome production, absolutely amazing photography.
Thank you very much!
Everything is just perfect in this video... the timelapses, the storms, the music, the mood. Very enjoyable!
My last dog died yesterday. I've been going through it really hard. She no longer will be afraid of storms. I so needed this Mike. -Toof
I'm sorry for your loss. I recently lost my dog too. Hugs.
Oh wow...I'm so very sorry for your loss. And I wish she hadn't been afraid, I know storms can be frightening but we know they can be beautiful as well. Hang in there and thank you for letting us know about your pup.
That shot at the end before the credits left me speechless. So good-as always!
Thank you Eydie!!!
I love your Timelapse, every single one of them is beautiful and unique ❤
Amazing imagery! Delivered by Mother Nature and captured beautifully and obviously compiled with great care and inspiring vision. I could watch this film a hundred times (and probably will!) and still be in awe of the spectacle of it all. Fantastic presentation across the board. KUDOS Mike O!
Insane cinematography as always, Mike! The result of an entire season worth of hard chasing work.
Thank you sir!
Love Kerry Muzzey's stuff, great pairing for this.
Kerry is the best and the kindest for letting me use this music again!

Музыкальное сопровождение очень тонко отображает происходящее на экране!!! Молнии танцуют под звуки скрипки!
And for the 7th time, Nobody monsoon's like Mike Olbinski monsoon's! Epic work, Mike!
We love monsooning
WOW! I loved the haboobs just engulfing everything! And the way the rain came out of the clouds and just poured over the land, so cool!

Wow, great memory! Yes, I went back all those years and wanted to use them again!
You’ve outdone yourself AGAIN. Great, great work. Thank you.

The volume of work and hours behind this is just monstrous! Eleven long minutes of time-lapse with every second packed with punch is just insane.

So much effort Bill, thank you for appreciating it!
Wooooowww! This timelapse is very very amazing! Good job, Mike! !
Thank you Morgan!
The culmination of so many chases. Watching the "dailies" of the chase that leads up to this just makes it even better! Keep doing what you do!
Thanks Rick, been hoping those little videos will show the BTS of how it's all done.
Having heard the same bgm of"The Chase" in this film but now the scene and clips are far more magnificent!
Great ear in recognizing that!
ZEUUUUUUUUUS!!!! What Have You Done???? OMG this is the best one yet!! ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!!! WOW!!
ZEUS! Love that :) Haha, I just did my best!
Bravo. This year's monsoon started strong but ended with a whimper.
Sure did, last year's as well...was over before September

Outstanding. Perhaps my favorite of the monsoon videos you've produced. I need a large print of the closing credits clip.
Not sure I have a large print made up of that but maybe I will work on one! If you need a print check out gallery.mikeolbinski.com
Stunning! The last scene is especially amazing. Do you use a kind of wipers or what was that in the frame?
Haha, that was just me with a cloth :) Also bro, just went to your channel and about vomited at the minced meat time-lapse wtffffffff dude lol
Amazing work.
Thank you!
living in the southwest as a photographer I appreciate the weather and your great work here.
