Mind-blowing cinematography by a true artist. Mike's film reveals more about storm formation in 12 minutes than years of theoretical lectures at university.

A snail was mugged by two turtles. When the police came by, she could not give many details - "It all happened so fast!" We're programmed by evolution to perceive things at our most relevant time scale and size scale. So, when things are markedly speeded up or slowed down, we can see things not evident in "normal real life."

This one actually moved me to tears ...you are truly an artist of the highest caliber...generous too. I don't know alot of folks who'd show everyone their trade secrets. I know you storm chasers are an elect breed but you Sir, are surely at the top. I love chasing ( in the car ) as I'm petrified of lightning lol

Mike, it is rare, but you allways have exceptional photos....namely, i don’t like any human elements in Nature pictures. But, yours fit in seamlessly, organically! Peter, your music makes my spirit break free and soar and swoon. Evoking light and dark, not good vs evil, but freeing updrafts and deep caves. I would love to listen to this over and over. I wish and hope you two will continue your duets! Thank you. Lots of love

Just watched this amazing piece of work and eager to watch again and again, but I had to comment first.
This one took the viewers to new heights of exhilartion and tense expectation. Outstanding videography.
At times I felt like I was immersed in the ocean, the waves of clouds a crawling, living, breathing tentacled creature undulating across a gigantic marine world of fantastical beings that spit fire and effortlessly move about transforming at will.
I'm just overcome by the complexity of this film and the soundtrack. Eloquent yet harsh. Melodic pounding energy. Definitely tics all the boxes.
And the Academy Award for best Monsoon film goes to, ✉️ , Mike Olbinski for Níłtsá. 🏆

Everytime at 4:00 Mark I get Goosebumps over my arms and back and this wont stop untill the end. Even afterwards thinking about this i get goosebumps again.
This raw wild weather and beauty hits deep into my core. It must be something humans have forgotten about how close we are linked to our planets untaimed nature. The music makes this so epic , like a dreamy joury into a diffrent world. The fluidty of the Sky , its like Water. A Ocean in the Sky and clouds moving like Waves. Its so mesmerizing watchting at the movments
