Mind-blowing cinematography by a true artist. Mike's film reveals more about storm formation in 12 minutes than years of theoretical lectures at university.
This one actually moved me to tears ...you are truly an artist of the highest caliber...generous too. I don't know alot of folks who'd show everyone their trade secrets. I know you storm chasers are an elect breed but you Sir, are surely at the top. I love chasing ( in the car ) as I'm petrified of lightning lol
You and Peter create a fusion and synergy so mesmerizing and fantastic! I wish I could watch full size on my bedroom ceiling, with the best headphones money can buy, and weep and watch over and over!
I'm absolutely speechless. This is the kind of thing I wish I could experience and capture. Your work is so inspiring to me. And Nanasi's soundtrack just knocks it out of the park. Thank you for sharing such an awe inspiring video.
Mike, I've been following you for a couple of years now from over in the UK, I am always awestruck by your films. Every aspect of them is Epic, the filming, editing and music work flawlessly in a way that big budget production companies would struggle to replicate. You are a rare talent, thank you to you (and your family) for reminding us how amazing nature is. Keep up the good work!
Your work has always been amazing. This is outstanding in a field of amazing. Excellent collab and meshing with the music, and your photography is superb. Thank you, and your family, for all the time and effort that goes into this, you always take us to a world we are fools to take for granted.
Im going to watch this on my oled in a minute when everyone wakes up! My children love hyperlapses! This is going to blow them away! My kids are olny 5, 3, and 2 and sprint to the tv for these videos! This is otherworldly!!!
*WOW ! This Is iinconceivable !* *These shots, colors and music. WOW! Perfectly done Mike* 👏🤩 *níłtsą́ in Navajo means rain, shower... it's a perfect name* 😉
WOW!!! 👏👏👏Absolutely stunning!! Thank you for capturing the awesome beauty of monsoon in Arizona! Your videos are where I send people to help them understand why I love living in Arizona in the summer!
My favorite time of year, monsoon film time. Just truly amazing Mike, did I watch it on repeat a few times? I sure did. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent and work with us.
I opened your youtube page three thousands times in the past of the year, and today I finally got to the day that mike released this amazing film! Lots of donwburst and cg lightning scene deeply attracted me!
So many superlatives none of which do justice to the work it is to create this and the gem of lady Jina is. Epic to both of you. I've been saving this to watch for a while on my friends 4k tv. Just blissful!
I will want watch these 3 in a row: 1st.: top third of the screen. 2nd.: mid-sky. 3rd.: lower third. This way i will be able really soak up all beauyfull and absorbing images! Mike, it is rare, but you allways have exceptional photos....namely, i don’t like any human elements in Nature pictures. But, yours fit in seamlessly, organically! Peter, your music makes my spirit break free and soar and swoon. Evoking light and dark, not good vs evil, but freeing updrafts and deep caves. I would love to listen to this over and over. I wish and hope you two will continue your duets! Thank you. Lots of love
That production was most amazing. I could feel the storm energy coming off my screen! You are a nepholographer to the max! Just learned time-lapse this season, and what a great season it was.

Having to watch this a few times... Each time watching different parts fo the scene, the clouds, the rain, the terrain... Almost too much going on! ;-)
I love how I'm looking at this and I'm like "oh I remember that storm!" I love your time lapses so much I hope to learn how to make time lapses like this someday.
My mother used to live in Tucson, Arizona and I would always go there during monsoon season because it is my favorite! You are a master at creating Monsoon short films! Leaves me speechless and they emote so many emotions I don’t even know where to start! I have a huge respect for what you do and the amount of hours you put in, the amount of hours you travel the amount of hours it takes you to put each one of these together and your passion for it! Thank you so much for all that you do and you must love them Moonsoon season as much as I do! Every single one of your short films are absolutely spectacular, breathtaking, gorgeous, stunning , jaw-dropping, mesmerizing and magnificent! You are very talented, my friend! 😲😁💕👏
Absolutely superb, magnificent, beautiful and many other adjectives of a positive nature! Thank you for another picture perfect capturing, of one of Mother Nature's impressive personalities!
Absolutely gorgeous photography I really do appreciate the work and hours you put into this video as well as your other ones. Thank you so much for sharing 🌪️ ⛈️
I think your works with Peter get higher level with each videos. My favourite is Vorticity 4 and probably this one. You're both great artists, his music complements your videos perfectly. Keep working together! Greetings from Paris!
I love it. Love the sky, clouds, thunder and rays play in the atmosphere. Whish it d had sound of lighting. Love the right music with it. Bests. Muchas gracias amigo❤
Wish to record just one of such magical timelapses ;)... Great landscapes and incredible weather conditions - what else to wish for. Amazing video! Well done Mike!
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful and exciting experiences with us. A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB...it always is wonderful, inspiring and so exciting. God bless you, your colleagues and your job.
You can’t watch a Mike timelapse & not comment, especially knowing the dedication & effort that’s gone into making this clip. As usual mike both Lisa & I were captivated by every second, and the music match was superb. Congratulations mate. We will get there for a workshop soon.
Always always always so worth the wait!!! Your work is beyond amazing!!! I know I’ll be watching this over and over and over and over………….and then one more time after that 😂
Absolutely amazing! I'm always mesmerized by your work, and have to watch each film several times to catch all the amazing details you capture. Thank you so much for what you do!
Visually stunning work Mike! Your productions are truly a work of art. I save all of them play passively when I have guest or for myself when I want to unwind from a busy week. Thank you for your amazing work!
Amazing! There are two video events I look forward to every year: Mike Oblinski's moon soon time lapse, and Mark Robert's Christmas glitter bomb. Monsoon wins.

I was wondering what your creative talents would yield over the past two monsoon seasons, which were unusually active. Lots of photo opportunities. This one is "different". Excellent videography. Peter's musical composition was also new.
Absolutely stunning! You are a complete master at what you do! The amount of time you must spend to complete a project like this must be daunting! But, we all know how much you love what you do and it shows. 🔥 😯 ❤
Mike, amazing, beautiful, incredible! Thank you very much for your work! I know how long this is. 10 seconds of video - about 2 hours of shooting and plus video editing, and plus the road to the shooting location. I applaud standing!
Just watched this amazing piece of work and eager to watch again and again, but I had to comment first. This one took the viewers to new heights of exhilartion and tense expectation. Outstanding videography. At times I felt like I was immersed in the ocean, the waves of clouds a crawling, living, breathing tentacled creature undulating across a gigantic marine world of fantastical beings that spit fire and effortlessly move about transforming at will. I'm just overcome by the complexity of this film and the soundtrack. Eloquent yet harsh. Melodic pounding energy. Definitely tics all the boxes. And the Academy Award for best Monsoon film goes to, ✉️ , Mike Olbinski for Níłtsá. 🏆 Thank you so much. ❣️
Every time I watch this, I find something new that makes me breathless. Its impossible to pick a favorite Olbinski piece, but this one is definitely a crown jewel
Stunning collection of work. I can’t imagine the effort you have gone to to create such an impressive set of Timelapse. Congratulations, well done, very jealous and keep them coming. They are breathtaking! 😊

Means so much Randy, so glad this speaks to you! Definitely is all that stuff....I was super lucky and proud to be on a lot of these storms the last two years!
The only thing more powerful than mother nature is the way in which Mike Olbinski captures it.
Achingly beautiful. At once mesmerizing and shocking. Bravo!
