Hi Harry Great that you have your own personal cameraman to take care of your visuals!. Looks a nice reissue and refreshing to see such care with shipping.
This is precisely how all Rhino HiFis should be packaged. They are selling a premium product, which is how to do it. However, I've heard that only some people are receiving theirs packed like this. Not sure what is going on with their fulfillment company???
Agree 100% - consistency is key and that should be the standard packing protocols. Unfortunately even a massive corp like Amazon (fulfillment at the FC level) doesn’t even do that. Have never understood why the product specs in the internal bills of material aren’t laid out that way, for them by the vendor. 🤷🏻♂️
What the heck, I've never seen them use a big ass box like that before. Glad they made it safe in your case. Unfortunately in my case, they used a regular mailer and both my Sabbath & Devo had tiny corner dings on one side. Other than that, no problems. 🤷🏻
I’m in Australia and I’ve ordered a few LPs from Rhino. They’ve always arrived in excellent condition. The last time I ordered from Amazon, the LP arrived in a satchel with no protective packaging at all. Needless to say, it didn’t survive the long trip very well. I no longer order LPs from there.
Yes they are still not packing them well. They shipped 3 records to me in a box made for 1. All 3 damaged. I didn’t get a big box like you. Very odd. Your boxing was totally different than mine. I sent pics to Mr. Westman. I think he is asking his Rhino buddy what the deal is.
Harry. Just saw your Deep Purple - "Burn" autograph album, on @rachel's show.Nice. Original Uk I presume? Heavy vinyl. Think it's possibly Jon Lord's autograph? Jon's autograph all over yahoo images. He always emphasized the J and the L in his signature.Enjoy!

I like how some LPs to your right are slumped on the floor slouching by the couch. Homely. Most of my collection is arranged that way.

just doesn't make sense, let us know what they do, if anything, about it.
