Chris Isaak live in the Mountain Music Lounge at KMTT 103.7 Seattle, December 10, 1998. I recorded this 20 minute show off the radio, burned it to CD and made a cover for it. It's been one of my favorite Christmas CDs that I listen to every year. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I do, Chris is pretty funny here. I've been lucky to have seen Chris several times and he's always very ...

I thought I would show some of The Beatles albums that don't get a lot of attention. I enjoy finding those oddball, unusual type albums, either by The Beatles or just Beatle related. Here's Pt. 2, Pt. 1 can be seen here: ruclips.net/video/mcSlCvrxxmk/видео.html

Becky and I splurged and went to El Gaucho Steak House for our anniversary. Our Caesar salad was made table side, as were our drinks and dinner, check it out, pretty cool. They even had our names printed on the top of the menu.

Picked up some Beatles, and some bootlegs among others, and what's the deal with this "3 eye" Columbia label? It's actually glued on (both sides) as well as the CBS bit at the bottom. My first video trying to learn how to use my new dji Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal.

Well done.
Hi Harry. I was brought to your channel via the Vinyl Tag. Cool selection of records here. Glad you showed a Springsteen one. Always up for a bit of Bruce here. Just subbed you. Thanks for showing your picks. Cheers from Canada. Darryl.
@@northernvinylguy thanks Daryl, appreciate it. Bruce is one of my favorites.
Very nice. Enjoyed your response. Its amazing how much things cost when they first come out. I paid over 400 dollars for our first VCR. well done.
thanks Tony.

Thanks, Merry Christmas you and your family Don.
She's probably thinking what the hell is this crap. I'm into Doowop LOL
Harry is that an og RL pressing lol
Harry , did you smoke some rock ‘n’ roll?
Footloose very interesting . 1200 cd's you certainly have more than me. I have I think about 250. I like the jewel box there easier to fit in the laser line spinner. you have Black Sabbath my live album is Judas Priest Live nice Monkees cover I like Judas Priest - Point of Entry we'll minus the Bootlegs and call it the Beatles Judas Priest for me I have both vinyl and cd spend way more time with cd's than the vinyl how many 5 star albums do you have on cd? example Ac/dc- Back in Black Kiss - Destroyer , Rock n roll all over Van Halen -1 Def Leppard Pyromania.
Fun time indeed!
Thanks for hosting!
Looked like fun Harry. I'm pretty sure the dude with the hat and me would get along pretty good. LOL... The guy on guitar looks a little like Mic Fleetwood...
@@BobbyGass5 thanks Bobby
Nice!!
Sweet. You're doing good, Harry. Don't let our generation die!
Great rendition ! JUST MY IMAGINATION
Aloha Harry's Music Room Wow ! $800.00 Cd player back in 1983 ,always new technology cost a lot at the beginning. Cool Footloose, bet if Beatles were available on CD at that time you would have bought them all. Smashing Pumpkins what a score at goodwill, I have that one somewhere on CD too, &:I don't have the Vinyl either. Wow, 1206 Cd's, I think in my room I might have maybe 200 & dats pushing it...lot in boxes under da house but I don't count dat . Digipak cool, I like those mini looking record album ls too. The Blasters awesome I wasn't buying any new music this year was saving money. But I recently bought a CD from Derrick Higgins who's also on RUclips but dat it dis year as far as new. Dat is so cool recording concerts & making Cd's. I need to check out that Beatles Love cd thanks for the tip on the sound quality. Monkees great graphics on da cover, I like the band War - Colección Latina it has a Lenticular cover. Those Grateful Dead Box Set amazing love da foil inlay. Cool Beatles red & blue, I only have the thick Jewel case knew somewhere. Opening up a record shop using your record collection as stock, I comprehend that. A friend of mine had a Cassette Tape Store in dat he opened in 1983. Glass show cases screwed on the walls of the store except behind the counter there was a holy moly wall of collectors Records, Albums, EP's, lot's of Beatles & Elvis EP's. & a huge empty space in the middle of the store sobI ask him if I could put record albums in his store on consignment which we did SovI filled up the 6 long bins of Records, maybe around 6000+ I got to hang & help sell my records since I wasn't working at that time. Guy Clark Dublin blues, Thanks forcyhe tip I'll check it out. Thanks again Harry enjoy watching your videos, maybe you can start a Reel-To-Reel 3025 tag.... Mahalo ed
I got my first CD player in 1983, too. It was the Marantz CD-73. My first CD purchase was The Police Synchronicity and Dire Straits Love Over Gold. I remember the Hi-Fi store sales guy demonstrating how “indestructible” CDs were by tossing one on the floor, stomping on it, then playing it. “Try that with an LP” he said.
I got one around 2008. Always been behind the times, even before we got out of the 1960s. Even today I know more about the 1960s than about the new millennium - - but then the 1960s knew more about itself than new millennials know about the new millennium. 1st compact disc I ever got was the 1st compact disc I ever saw, before 'cd' was currency: given to me as diverted stock for a record shop that closed down. Never saw anything like it, couldn't make head nor tail of it, tried playing it on my turntable, both sides - - it sounded like this, I recall: *zZz-z-Z-ZZZ-zz-i-i-ip!* And the older I get, the more things sound like that, the new millennium passing me by: *zZz-z-Z-ZZZ-zz-i-i-ip!*
That Sabbath recording- can we put it on reel to reel?
sure, we'll talk.
Harry you made your own Bootlegs?? I love that !! Cool Sabbath one.
It was fun to make them.
Agree 100 percent that Guy Clark as your favorite cd in your collection! His “My Favorite Picture of You” is my favorite Guy Clark Composition done by Jerry Jeff Walker! Happy New Year!
he's great, thanks for watching!
Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful wife who I fortunately met at the Drop On In Lounge in Seattle earlier this year!
thanks, and Merry Christmas to you as well.
Lucky would bark
Aloha Harry's Music Room, Awesome!

Thanks for the upload,Harry! Happy holidays to you and your family.🎄🙏
Happy Holidays to you too!
What an excellent haul! Love the coloured vinyl in particular.
Those Beatles singles are so cool. So many of them, I had never seen before. 🥰 That Chicago quad is a fantastic find. ♥️ Take care.
It's pretty cool you found all of that Local
Fantastic Beatles records, I found a couple of old Japanese Beatles 7" singles recently, "Rock And Roll Music" and "No Reply" great little 45's, love the video, interesting finds you have there.
Way behind on your videos so catching up. Really enjoyed this! I put up a couple of soundtracks a while back on instagram, a couple of 007's and some others. More to come, really fun to collect. This was great, some nice gems in there!
fantastic....greetings from Milan Italy...........piece de resistance????
Do you ever travel down to Portland? I didn't go, but KHMD radio sponsored a pretty big record show (Save the LP 11/16/24) in Beaverton last month. And I have to give a shout out to my cousin in Hood River, who just opened a record store: ADHD Music - it's turning into a fun place to dig!
I do get to Portland now and then and always try to hit the record show there when I can.
That Grand Funk Live is a wonderful album and the BEST part of that album is it was recorded live all in the same night - not many artists can say that. Your picks are great!
Thanks Todd, appreciate you watching and commenting.
I love that "dead" take-up reel - where does one get one of those ??
Wow, Harry! Quite a productive day, very happy for you. I'm glad you still have that whiskey bottle, a nice keepsake for sure. As always, thanks for sharing.

Thunderball was the first one that came to mind for artwork! Great showing!

The Beatle collector strikes again!🤣🍻
It's a sickness, LOL
Hello Harry, I like those Beatle 7” singles boots, I’m sure I have Watching Rainbows single. I got it many many years ago, I didn’t know it was rare. Thanks for sharing….✌🏼
Cool....let me know if you find it.
I misread the title, probably because of the thumbnail vinyl splash: ' *Went record digging in Technicolor today* .' I really did. Just shows how conceptions can be led by our perceptions. That can work the other way round too but I don't even want to think about that, not on Friday the 13th. Always behind the times, a 2021 Record Store Day 45 rpm release I just bought: *Citizen Kane* overture with a Rosebud graphic on what passes for a 'B' side. The packaging & insert follows the graphics of Charles Foster Kane's newspaper the National Enquirer, very close graphics to the 1941 film. I doubt audiophiles would spring for it but film buffs might. 9:55 That's like a slice of alternative history, had The Beatles accepted George Martin's tip to release ' *How Do You Do It* ' on 45. There's an academic strand of *alternative history* that historians sometimes call *Virtual* History. What the country and the world would be like if served by a writ of if onlys. It deconstructs History to better understand cause-effects by uncoupling events that we are trapped (by history) of thinking was "inevitable." So: What would USA look like had RFK survived to run for the White House in '68 & would he have won & what would the '70s then look like without Watergate. Or, What would the '60s look like had JFK survived to win what would probably have been a 2nd term landslide & would that end US inVietnam. And how wouldJFK's survival affect The Beatles' welcome in Feb 1964 - - aside from Jackie Kennedy inviting them to the WH. Alternative history is a surreal rabbit warren, & that's what you went down when you bought The Beatles 'How Do You Do It,' Harry. 3:30 Those Bowie demos are fascinating. Never seen that box. On the cover, it looks like Bowie hasn't seen anything beyond Brixton yet. Has he got another thing coming.
thanks!
Hey, Harry, you're my favorite waste of time :)
LOL
Swell
Thanks, neat.
Aloha Harry, Awesome purchases! Those 45 rpm's were priced great! That Bob Dylan interviewed looks awesome, must have been for radio stations to play. Thanks again for sharing your recent findings.
yeah, I have that one, picked it up at Rocket Records years ago, $15. It's funny, cause Bob is picking on his guitar throughout the interview.
it's actually a pretty good set of interviews
