Great one, Harry. If I were a hardcore fan, I probably would have bought this too. It really is an art piece. Looks beautiful! And according to Mazzy it sounds great too. Thanks for sharing!
Can I have the outer cardboard box? That way I can reseal it & pretend my SuperDeluxe arrived & I haven't opened it yet. I can just place it in the room & let the vibes emanate. That might sound nuts, but it's not far off a Yoko Ono conceptual 'bag' piece. Speaking of whom: 2:02 " *TheYoko Ono WARNING: 'The Management cannot guarantee that a hand put in the hole will come out in the same condition* '..." Now, I'm notpssng on the parade, but this illustrates how Yoko Ono's conceptual art cannot be called 'avant garde' (sorry, Mazz, if yr tuning in), even when we think it's thought-provoking & fun. It's derivative, usually from *Dada* of the *19-teens* right through *Marcel Duchamp* in the *1930s-40s* (when it WAS avant garde) right up to the activist *Situationists* of the 1950s. Some of the *Grapefruit* conceits hark back +2000 years to *Zen Buddhism* wake-up calls. The Fluxus Movement in France managed to extend conceptual art into the early '60s, but the form was nothing new by then. It's just that ppl love to say 'avant garde.' I do too: 'avant garde.' Actually this morn I just did a spot of *avant-gardening* , making an arch out of a tall weed. In this case, the Yoko Ono Warning 'The Management cannot guarantee...' is derivative to the tune of 2000 years: the ancient stone statue in Rome called 'The Mouth of Truth.' Remember the 1953 movie *ROMAN HOLIDAY* ? In Rome, *Gregory Peck* puts his hand in the mouth of the stone sculpture, & in an unscripted moment pulls his hand out covered by his sleeve like it's been bitten off, & *Audrey Hepburn* goes genuinely apesht with shock. The *Mind Games* idea from 1973 harks back to *Eric Berne's* psychiatric concept of Transactional Analysis in his bestselling 1964 book *Games People Play* . Then *Joe South* sang a hit single of this concept in 1969 called 'The Games Ppl Play.' (Actually Joe South's song would be a good song to play, Harry - - in livestreams, as a strategy, whenever an argument kicks off & you wanna tune out without a rage quit. Remember how you tried that with reading a Lennon book on screen on RG? Same principle, but instead just whipping out the guitar & softly singing 'The Games Ppl Play,' not to drown out anyone but just doing yr own thing in response to an argument you don;t wanna get into. So keep yr guitar just out of frame during all livestreams, on standby.) I like the huge Liverpool map, even before the UV light. The frame construction of square levels reminds me of a cultivated bee hive. Thanks for showing in detail. What the box set incites that's worth connecting with is the capacity to be playful - - a BIG part of creativity no matter how old we are, & too often we lose it. And every SuperDeluxe box set I ever bought is a time capsule if it's any good, the nearest I can get to a time machine that takes me back to a more interesting culture than the one we are now lumbered with. A good SuperDeluxe box set should bring alive the past & make it ongoing. Maybe the next box set from the Lennon estate will be a Pyramid. I made do with a *Mind Games* 9-track sample cd free with a UK magazine called UNCUT for £7.99. It sounds interesting but I no longer have my original MIND GAMES album to compare. The free *Mind Games* cd arrived by Royal Mail simultaneously with the double-CD *One Hand Clapping* . So Paul McCartney & John Lennon arrived in the post together, but separately, as they always did since they broke up. Of the 2, musically, I'd say *One Hand Clapping* is superior in every way. *This Comment has 6 paragraphs matching the sides of the *Mind Games* Superdeluxe cube* .
Alright, Harry, it' time to tell the truth. You didn't do this video for your loyal subscribers; you did it for YOURSELF. You just need a record of how you took the box apart so you'll know how to put it back together again. 😇
Enjoyed the unboxing! This is great for your collection.
@@denisehoward177 thanks!

“Fool and his money”
Oh well it's my money and I spend it the way I want to as I'm sure you do.
