The dynamic fans at Bislett Stadium in Oslo Norway were presented with the high-powered excitement of the Svein Arne Hansen Dream Mile.
Side Note: The Late Svein Arne Hansen was a former Meet Director of the Bislett Games; at the time of his death he was President of the European Athletic Association. End of Side Note.
The event got underway at 21:35 (local time) on July 1, 2021. According to Official Diamond League Records, the Temperature was 24°C (75°F), the Humidity in Oslo that evening was 35%. Oslo is located at an Elevation of 23m Above Sea Level.
The Competition featured a Line-Up of 12 athletes including 2 Pace-Makers, 9 of them were Tokyo-Bound. SOME STATISTICS, and World Rankings By World Athletics under (1500m, 1 Mile, 2000m) on June 29, 2021, are listed below:

Mounir Akbache (FRA): PACE-MAKER.
How It Unfolded:
The first Pace-Maker Akbache (FRA) led the field, the first split time was 56.49s, the 2nd one 56.79s and he drops out after 800m; Pace-Maker Kiprugut (KEN) takes now the lead and drops out after about the 1000m mark; McSweyn (AUS) is now in command and cranks it up, at the Bell the split time is 57.50s, no one can match his pace, he stays clear, and crosses the Finish Line with an advantage of about EIGHT-TENTHS of a second, in a time of 3:48.37. The finishing time represents an Area Record, a World Leading Time, and a Personal Best for the Aussie Star. All ten competitors have either a PB or an SB; there were even 2 NRs. An amazing display of form by these athletes just a few weeks before the start of the Athletics Events at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
