Man I loved this intro growing up. The story concept of some unstoppable hell-wizard getting the absolute shit beat out of him by some Bruce Lee type character was like a kid-crack for me
I think they are too over the top to be a worry to parents. Play MK11 with my daughter. Doesn't faze her. Wish I could play the first 3 games with her. The older games had excellent soundtracks. They have good and memorable melodies compared to the new games.

It includes no introduction, the endings use the actual character sprite, rather than portrait images of them and there is no cast of characters or images of the main team behind Mortal Kombat II. It basically plays out multiple ways the tournament could end up. 2). Most of the characters somehow live in mortal kombat because of weird scenarios that only are eluded to in the descriptions and endings in each game. For example, like you said, johnny cage is believed to die in the end of 2 or beginning of 3 (also because the actor left the studio to work on another fighting game). Sub-zero is a different sub-zero in MKII, he was believed to be killed by scorpion in the first game. This is why he has a scar in the third game. Scorpion let him live and get away. Kano and Sonia never got to fight because she they got captured by the end of the first game. I believe he takes them back to outworld, punishing kano for not overriding the tournament in chaos by using the black dragon. So shang tsung gets baraka and his army to storm shaolin and provide him the ability to flee w/ kano and sonya. I'm wondering if Liu Kang and Raiden fight, because they hint at it in the movie and liu kang is the only character who uppercuts w/o killing them (with the exception of the pit, who has a corpse of a body that looks like the human form of raiden). Like I wonder if raiden gave him his lessons before letting him win in teh tournament, only to resurrect in a new body afterward.... Interesting stuff. Liu Kang and Kung Lao aren't necessarily brothers, but shaolin brothers. I almost feel like I wonder if Cyrax was supposed to be cyber-scorpion as part of the lin kuei. The moves are very similar between the two characters. It goes on....
@@gozinta82 that's a dumb theory. Cyrax just so happened to wear the colors of Scorpion. The old Lin Kuei wore a bunch of other colors, didn't matter what they wore. The Johnny Cage actor didn't leave to work on another game, he said before that he left because of other reasons and sued Midway(but then dropped it). I don't know why you then went on to make a long ass topic of other things when we were talking about just one topic. Congratulations! Everything you said was wrong!
this game was awesome still is,but a mortal kombat game with a story mode beginning from when shao kahn is taking over outworld from Kitana`s parents & how everything came to be in other words an origin story mode would be cool
Me too as it was practically like the arcade cept some sounds different. I was gonna buy it when it was in stores but I didn't because mortal Kombat was horrible mostly because no fatalities and no blood just sweat you could see lol so employee was like you better buy it because where gonna sell out and I don't know when other shipment arrives and I was like "who cares because mk sucked and this will too" and I was at a friend's party and kids where playing in guest room and saw the fatalities and stuff and asked did they do a code or something and they all said no game came like that lol
