no, because the gearbox has to be able to handle the amount of pressure being applied with how fast they shoot, u would also need a reinforced piston or then thats gone, u needa do a lot of upgrades to make them lipo ready and the fact that it is Lithium it puts a lot of "juice" into your gun if u have questions feel free to message me
I don't know the exact ROF that it will give the gun, but it is said that a 7.4v LiPo is about equal to 9.6v NiMh battery in terms of power. It has also been suggested that the mAh of a LiPo means more than that ot an NiMh (as in a 1600mAh LiPo will last longer than a 1600mAh NiMh). By the way, NiMh (for those who don't know) is pretty much the stock battery type now. There are also NiCd batteries, which are about the same as the NiMh's, but must be discharged before recharging again.
@money96plyr yes it is highly recommended t discharge a lipo (not fully though as this does irreperable damage) but aways allow them to cool between discharge and charge to prevent overheating
@Mrbmx51 If it has the right size plug (usually rc cars/planes use large/small type connectors for batterys which fit in airsoft guns), the battery doesnt have more than 10.8 volts, and you can use it in your airsoft gun.
if you AEG, it stands for "Automatic Electric Gun" They uses just a battery and are powerd by an electric motor. I dont know what the gas airsoft guns are called, but as stated they use gas OR battery, most comonly battery due to life (1 battery = alot of rounds can be fired, gas can only fire about 90 (a mag and a half) before needing the mag refilled with gas
If yours has the standard crane stock then a best course of action would be to get a nun-chuck small type battery, the CM16 Raider should come with small type connectors.
@HeMaN686 if the gun is lipo ready like a kwa or ares it can take it. just make sure the gears are reinforced or something and make sure the gun can take a lipo.
A higher voltage may slightly (SLIGHTLY, as in 3-4 FPS) increase your muzzle velocity, since the piston is moving faster. But that difference is negligable.
@TENNESSEERIDGES do u mean a 8.4v 1100mah and yes if it doesnt fit in the battery compartment, get a peq box or rewire it to the back if u have a solid stock and stick it in there. i would recomend a 9.6v 1600 mah hope this helps :)
If you are interested in the normal batteries you can get them for about $30 on their website, if you want a LiPo you don't want to pick them up at the store, get them at a local hobby store as an RC car battery. But since your only starting out i HIGHLY suggest not doing lipos until later. I hope i helped
thats why you make sure they are lol and its not just the gears pretty mush everything in the gearbox has to be reinforced including the gearbox itself
@Ryan57596 well..not very long. 1500 mAH will shoot about for BOUT 2 HOURS. there are factors involved tho, are you shooting in full auto? and usually cold temperature will make batteries run a little bit flat.
Yes, a 9.6v will wear the motor faster, but not damage the gun. However, an 11.1v LiPo can DESTROY the entire gearbox in several places. If you want a lipo, get a 7.4v It has a higher RoF than a 9.6v nimh, but won't damage the gun.
@evilbunnyreviews Depend on the battery. If the battery is the new Marui guns with the fixed plastic connectors no normal bi-sticks should be fine as long as it's not too long.
Quick thing about lipos before ya go out and buy. Most guns arent ment for um, Echo 1 or any other cheaper brand needs to have heavy gears to handle it but gears are pretty cheap so no worries if one breaks but it can damage other internals.
@EatDeeznuts1 mAh is only how long the battery life with a charge is, it will not damage the gun but, what airsoft gun do you have? Because 9,6v increases the rate of fire but it also increases the risk of stripping the gears of your gearbox
What kind of batteries will fit in a crane stock? The gun recommends nunchuck. Are there any other kind of batteries that will fit in a nunchuck compartment? The gun is a CA Armalite M15A4 SV.
Hi, great video! i just bought a Tokio Marui M4A1 RIS; the user manual recommends a 8.4v battery. But i also have a 9,6v. If i use the 9,6, the gun could be damaged? or only the fire rate increase?
@Schutte2717 just make a discharger, you can get the stuff at walmart for like $5, get some decent quality wire the lower the gauge the better and two 12v bulbs , like a car bulb and get a connector for whatever connection your battery has then make a circuit connecting the battery to the 2 bulbs, bingo youve got a discharger
@EatDeeznuts1 there is no problem of using a 9,6v battery, the mAh is only how long the battery will last, if someone says that high mAh will kill ur gun, than he knows nothing about it
depends on the mah of ur battery and how much mah ur charger charges each hour so for example an 8.4v 1500mah battery would take 5 hours to charge if u had a 300mah charger 1500/300mah=5 hours
I was wondering, can you replace a 9.6v 1400mAh Mini with a 9.6v 2000mAh Nunchuck? I was mainly just curious about the size difference, because I don't wan't to have to spend thirty five bucks only to find out the battery doesn't fit.
which one of these batterys will fit into the VFC Full Metal M16 A3 ( E Series), i need to know for my friends birthday ,please respond, feedback will be alot of help ,thank u
im doing 25-26 in my KWA shooting 415+ i suggest that CMAirsoft94 just buys a KWA gearbox and swap the spring, i opened mine and the internals are beautiful
What is better? Intellect 9.6V Small Type 1600mAh Airsoft Battery Pack (Butterfly Configuration) OR an 9.6V 1600mAh NiMh High Output Airsoft RC battery by Matrix (Butterfly Configuration. Because im thinking of getting G&G Combat Machine 16 Raider Airsoft AEG Rifle. A decent gun before that stupid California 2016 rule.
ok, correct me if i am wrong. the more milliamps the longer it lasts, the more volts the faster it fires.....but regardless of voltage or amperage, the muzzle speed and energy of the bb's will be the same wrong or right?
@acfjames hi, im running a cyma m14, i bought a tenergy 3800 mah 9.6v (large type?) it has 8 cells, 2 collums, 4 cells long each collum. i BARELY fits in the m14's battery compartment. I cannot close it with the wires. im not much of a tech, my airsoft modification skills stop at switching a tightbore out. however, is it possible to remove 2 of the cells from my battery? (obviously when there is no charge in them) i know it wouldn't have as many mah, but it would fit. any suggestions?
Tim i have an 8.4 likenyou showed and ive been charging it for awhile on a trickle charger because i havent got a smart charger and it acts like it dosent want to tak charge i hook it up to my echo m4 but just has enough juice to barely move the gears it dosent move enough to compress air any info will help
I'm planning on getting the GI custom G4 flaming hog, would the intellect 9.6 3600 mah or tenergy 9.6 3800 nah be to much for this 300 fps gun? Also, which would be better quality and give the most life to this gun(GI G4 Flaming Hog).
i am a beginner in airsoft and i plan on getting a JG Full Metal AK-47S Electric Blow Back AEG Airsoft Gun and i dont know what battery i should get for it???
whats the most common kind of battery? the nimh or nicd? im asking because i cant remember which one needs to be discharged after every use and i just want the one that u dont need to discharge and dont have to use all its charge to charge it :)
will a 9.6 stick type 1600 mah 8 cell battery fit in a G&p defender fit in the buffer tube? cuz i want to get a MOE magpul stock cuz i dont like crane stock
So, i want to buy an ak-74u and have seen in a video that i need the 9.7v stick battery to fit. But what charger should i buy for this? i live in Europe, so US charger is little help for me.
At 1:30 he says it's a crane stock battery, but on the site it says PEQ2 box battery. Will this battery fit in the AGM 614 Advanced Carbine Crane Stock?
will a tokyo marui sr 16 work with a Lipo and can i use it on a battery pouch with the regular m4 stock instead of the full m16 stock or would i need some rewiring?
Hey my battery charger adapter has a red light on it and it shines when it's charging. But I don't think it changes color when the battery is finished charging. So is there anyway I can know if it's done charging? By the way I have a Ni-MH 800 mAh 8.4volt battery from BFN.
What type of battery should i use on a SRC SR6KV...im new bought this a while ago tried with a 9.6V it didnt shoot but the gun had a fuse in th ewires seperate from the main wire so it kinda saved my ass but im ookin for a recomendation on what type....it has some weird small white connector btw idk if its normal but i thought i should throw that in there...greatly need some help on this, the damn things holdin me back from playing....
I know and Echo1 will keep breaking and its not the drive gear, its either the spur, bevel, or sector and if your only paying $10 it will break again, using a lipo in a echo1 is the exact opposite of smart
i have a question, if i have say like a 4000 mah battery will it come with a large type connector or small and how do i plug it to a gun that has the smaller connector and can i change the guns connector a large one or do i need adaptor?
@maidtoorder28 Don't use a 500 mah 7.2 volt. The life will be about 2 seconds on an airsoft gun, and will slow down the bps to about 10, where it should be around 14.
i have a AEG standard AK-47 assault rifle and i came with a 8.4V battery, it needs 5hr to charge fully but when i go full auto it bearly lasts 15 minutes. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Is there anything I can do if the battery won't fit in my gun? Is there anything I can attatch the battery somewhere on the side of the gun and it will still work? And maybe not look like Crap?
i dunno , i would guess not but i cant really be shure. Do some research on the interwebs or even phone up and ask the company you bought it from, they should know. That a very nice gun! and id hate for you to strip the gears for a little extra ROF
whats the deal with people talking about guns being lipo ready? if it just has a higher voltage then wouldnt you only need to get some better gears if you had a mid quality gun?
no, because the gearbox has to be able to handle the amount of pressure being applied with how fast they shoot, u would also need a reinforced piston or then thats gone, u needa do a lot of upgrades to make them lipo ready and the fact that it is Lithium it puts a lot of "juice" into your gun if u have questions feel free to message me

@ultra441 no thats if u want to buy a seperate battery. if you look at the specs itll tell you if it come with a battery or not
If yours has the standard crane stock then a best course of action would be to get a nun-chuck small type battery, the CM16 Raider should come with small type connectors.
absolutely, although not really if all you use is semi-auto, but then there's no point in upgrading to a higher voltage battery.
Thanks again for the video. I'm new to airsoft and was wondering what battery to get.
LiPos have two connectors, one is a regular Tanaka connector, the other is only for charging the battery.
@HeMaN686 if the gun is lipo ready like a kwa or ares it can take it. just make sure the gears are reinforced or something and make sure the gun can take a lipo.

thats why you make sure they are lol and its not just the gears pretty mush everything in the gearbox has to be reinforced including the gearbox itself
@Ryan57596 mAH doesn't affect the ROF. It's the volt.
@Ryan57596 well..not very long. 1500 mAH will shoot about for BOUT 2 HOURS. there are factors involved tho, are you shooting in full auto? and usually cold temperature will make batteries run a little bit flat.
@Daodoc Well it depends on what you want. Any battery will work, but not all will perform well.
If the battery is the new Marui guns with the fixed plastic connectors no normal bi-sticks should be fine as long as it's not too long.
you should make a video on the different adapters on the ends of the batteries
Quick thing about lipos before ya go out and buy. Most guns arent ment for um, Echo 1 or any other cheaper brand needs to have heavy gears to handle it but gears are pretty cheap so no worries if one breaks but it can damage other internals.

but, what airsoft gun do you have? Because 9,6v increases the rate of fire but it also increases the risk of stripping the gears of your gearbox
yup, just make sure they have the right voltage and connectors on them so you dont have to buy an adapter
@TheStatix14 ya because lipoly batteries are much stronger and only durable strong gear boxes can with stand them
What kind of batteries will fit in a crane stock? The gun recommends nunchuck. Are there any other kind of batteries that will fit in a nunchuck compartment? The gun is a CA Armalite M15A4 SV.

If I'm correct that gun has the fold-able stock? If so you'll need a stick battery.
@EatDeeznuts1 there is no problem of using a 9,6v battery, the mAh is only how long the battery will last, if someone says that high mAh will kill ur gun, than he knows nothing about it
@narutofanstudios1234 ok thanks i wasnt sure if it would put pressure on the inner parts and break
depends on the mah of ur battery and how much mah ur charger charges each hour so for example an 8.4v 1500mah battery would take 5 hours to charge if u had a 300mah charger 1500/300mah=5 hours
The only problem with lipo batteries is that if your guns gears aren't reinforced they will probably strip.
I was wondering, can you replace a 9.6v 1400mAh Mini with a 9.6v 2000mAh Nunchuck? I was mainly just curious about the size difference, because I don't wan't to have to spend thirty five bucks only to find out the battery doesn't fit.
you need a convertor for that they're pretty inexspensive, just make sure your gun will be able to take it.
yup i use rc lipos in mine but i have a mosfet with cut off
Do you have to replace your battery or can you charge it? And if so how often do you have to replace it (I'm new to airsoft)
technically you can, practically no. it would be harder to put it back together than to take it apart. you would also lose some voltage.
When you give the estimate on play time is that considering an almost constant firing of the AEG?
When you get a new battery, do you need to make sure the first time you charge it you do it on slow charge?
How do I know if the weapon I'm buying fits in a mini or large plug battery? I can't find it anywhere. It's an AK-74M (Classic Army SLR-105)
If it's the same gun I just looked at you are going to want a mini. I would have a hard time shoving a large type in there.
Probably. I don't see why not. If the connectors fit then yes.
which one of these batterys will fit into the VFC Full Metal M16 A3 ( E Series), i need to know for my friends birthday ,please respond, feedback will be alot of help ,thank u

(obviously when there is no charge in them) i know it wouldn't have as many mah, but it would fit. any suggestions?
Not if your gears are reinforced or if your gearbox is "Li-Poly ready" like KWA.
Thanks man, but do i need other wires, because there's higher voltage?
@diamondpro4 your welcom:) wat gun are you useing it for?

what matters on a shooting time of a battery, the Voltage or the mAh? Thank you.
It would be nice if you added LiFePo batterys by A123 in a new video
i think a wall charger will do but it will take a LONG time to charge
whats the most common kind of battery? the nimh or nicd? im asking because i cant remember which one needs to be discharged after every use and i just want the one that u dont need to discharge and dont have to use all its charge to charge it :)
so could i use an RC Lipo in my Guay Guay, just the general battery?
what about connectors? ive got a few nicds with tamyia connectors and am just starting airsoft. will my batterys work or do i need something else?

Do you have any idea how i can fit a large type battery on a mini type connector?
I just got my new battery and would it be better if i charged it with a regular charger first or a smart charger or does that even matter
At 1:30 he says it's a crane stock battery, but on the site it says PEQ2 box battery. Will this battery fit in the AGM 614 Advanced Carbine Crane Stock?
would it be safe to use an intellect 9.6v 1400mah 30amp Nimh Mini Type Battery for my CYMA M1A1 Thompson?
will a tokyo marui sr 16 work with a Lipo and can i use it on a battery pouch with the regular m4 stock instead of the full m16 stock or would i need some rewiring?
do lipo batteries have a special charger, or will a universal charger work?
@AirsoftAzn how long if ur shooting semi auto? in a classic army p90?
Hey my battery charger adapter has a red light on it and it shines when it's charging. But I don't think it changes color when the battery is finished charging. So is there anyway I can know if it's done charging? By the way I have a Ni-MH 800 mAh 8.4volt battery from BFN.
What battery would be good for a CM042 Full Metal/Wood AK-47?
so if you go up in volts does it make your gun shoot harder or just faster???
When I see some products it says the batteries are out of stock so if I get a airsoft gun will I have to buy a separate battery?
what is a good battery for SOCOM Gear Full Metal N4 Noveske 7.25" Airsoft Gun
What type of battery should i use on a SRC SR6KV...im new bought this a while ago tried with a 9.6V it didnt shoot but the gun had a fuse in th ewires seperate from the main wire so it kinda saved my ass but im ookin for a recomendation on what type....it has some weird small white connector btw idk if its normal but i thought i should throw that in there...greatly need some help on this, the damn things holdin me back from playing....

i have a question, if i have say like a 4000 mah battery will it come with a large type connector or small and how do i plug it to a gun that has the smaller connector and can i change the guns connector a large one or do i need adaptor?
so voltage increase rof yeh and mih means how mutch juice is has then ?
What ROF am I looking at if I buy a 9.6v 4200mAH battery for my CA M15A4 X Series?
@maidtoorder28 Don't use a 500 mah 7.2 volt. The life will be about 2 seconds on an airsoft gun, and will slow down the bps to about 10, where it should be around 14.
would a nikko 9.6v for a remote control car work with my CM028 Ak-47?
i have a AEG standard AK-47 assault rifle and i came with a 8.4V battery, it needs 5hr to charge fully but when i go full auto it bearly lasts 15 minutes. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Will batteries get weaker over time? Because i have a 2 year old 9.6 volt numchuck battery and i dont know if its as powerful as it used to be.
Only if you overcharge without a smart charger and I think they start to decay at 5 years
ok so i have an intellect 9.6v 1600mah battery (stick battery) and idk how long i should charge it for, ASGI can you help
Is there anything I can do if the battery won't fit in my gun? Is there anything I can attatch the battery somewhere on the side of the gun and it will still work? And maybe not look like Crap?
I have a m4 commando jp-10 what battery would be good for it i have a battery but it drains so fast
so can i leave my 8.4v 1100mah or 1400mah fully charged without using it or does it affect the battery...?
how could you tell the battery how long it takes to charge?
Can RC car batteries be used for airsoft guns and vice versa?
i dunno , i would guess not but i cant really be shure. Do some research on the interwebs or even phone up and ask the company you bought it from, they should know. That a very nice gun! and id hate for you to strip the gears for a little extra ROF
do i have to discharge a 11.1 1000mah lipo before charging again?
whats the deal with people talking about guns being lipo ready?
if it just has a higher voltage then wouldnt you only need to get some better gears if you had a mid quality gun?
I have a ics mk5a5 and I want to know if I can fit a 3600 mah battery in it
@Mrinsanepain What kind of battery do you have?
charge it, but make sure you buy a smart charger you will have to replace it much quicker
what does the VFC MK17-H SSR (Black) use?
well senses its 8.4 it will have a slow ROF but will have alot of time so i guess its like 6 or 7 maybe
@Pwninator84 Battery packs and PEQ boxes.
Is it possible for the gun to break if it has a different battery?
