I really wish you zoomed in more on the buckle location and how it's oriented. Because for a true beginner like me it is so far zoomed out. I have no idea how he did that continuous buckle loop because it's so far away. I can't see which way the buckle is facing
Hi. We appreciate the feedback. The buckle is facing away from you - as described in the first part of the video about the standard two piece ratchet. Hope that helps. Thanks.
With the first strap his hand is completely covering the ratchet so the most important bit.....which way to "thread" the strap.... is impossible to see! Major fail straight off!
Very thorough instruction and very helpful. Thank you.
God, I wish I’d found this first! Would have saved me a lot of trouble. Tons of American ones, none of them as as clear as yours.
You are welcome! Glad it was useful.
What a great help. Thanks.

what you do with the single part ratchet can easily be done with a 2 part ratchet as well! just add a loop arund the cargo!
This video is extremely helpful. But the straps we have are stubborn no matter how we try and it doesn't help its most likely improperly ratcheted
Thank you . The younger ones will never know how easy it was to use good fashion simple rope ---- why is life so complicated now 🤣

Terrible way of using wire hook at webbing , use delta rings .Flat delta rings are inexpensive , round delta rings are less harmful on the webbing .
You remove ALL the slack before ratcheting tight. 🙄
Wrong. He was correct to say ‘most’. You need a few turns to give it strength, and not slip.
