Hey Mr Motary Notary, you have a cameraman, fancy shmancy!!! This Supra, being right hand drive looks like it would be awkward to drive in traffic. Thanks for sharing this fun video & I look forward to following along with the auction!!! Have a great day!!! 👍👍🙂
Who's the new guy in the video? Sounds like Elliott.......But he looks different.......Ah! I got it, he's wearing a Polo shirt. That must be it. Got me there. LoL Seriously though, this is a decent car to take us for a ride along in. So what if it's got a fixed roof, at least you don't have to worry about the removable top leaking. Automatic? Eh, not a big deal there honestly (for me anyway). The right hand drive kind of makes up for the cool factor though. IF it isn't manual, at least it still has something cool to talk about. On the other hand, the monster truck suspension kinda kills it for me just a bit. The trade off, however, is that it seems like its a nice smooth ride. So if someone is just looking to hit up a cars and coffee in this thing, why not? I can appreciate it for what it is. Again, thanks for taking us along for the ride along, Elliott.
A great spec in my opinion as a person that doesn’t go to drive throughs, the toll bridges are automated and lives in an extremely hilly city with very few traffic circles!
Very cool car...I wouldn't poo poo the automatic transmission because of power, but a manual just puts you more in touch with the car. You get to control the gear changes and can use the motor in a more controlled fashion. I've never experienced a right-side drive before, so that must've been fun to try. Great video!
September 1999, Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach Florida. I was in town to visit friends in my '85 Porsche 928S2 5 speed. I got off I-95 and found a CHEVRON station [There is no substitute...] to fuel up for the ride home to Orlando. Coming out of the station, I encountered a '94 Supra. And we came to the next light together. I needed to get into the left lane where he was located so that I could do a U turn and go back toward I-95. Hmm. He's got turbo lag, I've got a V8 I thought. No problem! I'll just slam him off the light and make my turn. He 's probably a dork anyway and would never ever race me... I see the light turn yellow for the other way. I put my foot on the throttle and bring it up to 1000 rpm. And what do I hear? The SAME thing from the other car~! PING! Awesome, he wants to play. OK, the light changes and my Porsche M28 V8 engine SCREAMS V8 HORSEPOWER and I get the jump on him....But the U turn that I wanted to use is coming up fast and his turbos are now starting to work, and he's too tight, so I take it to the quarter mile, in which it was a dead heat. He came up along side me, but couldn't pass my S2. Alright, I let off and take the next U turn, and he does the same. He flashes his headlights at me, and I can see he is waving his arm to pull over at a gas station, so I pull in. He pulls in: "Man, I could have had you if I had pushed the RPM at the start a little more" Me "I....Don't know man, but holy shit the way you walked up on me, that car you have is scary fast!" "This is a beast! You cannot believe this car!" I told him that I had a "ringer", or the S2 version of the 928 with about 330 hp at the crank, about the same as his Supra, stock. Most 928's are not that fast, but this was the one exception, which was why I could hang with something like a stock MK4 Supra at all~ And then we parked and talked for 10 minutes. Turns out he was an attorney who dealt with real estate matters. I wound up hiring him for a deal about a year later; He was driving a Jaguar: "I increased the boost pressure and was racing a Camaro and blew the Supra's engine" ::cough:: -You do the math.
So why is this car in the US? Is it worth more to sell here even though it's RHD, auto, solid roof, etc? Seems like an odd JDM import given there are many US spec ones available
The beard shave was an accident. I’m trying to grow it back by Saturday! 😂
You look like a car salesman for sure
There’s a beard??
A nice disguise when in public or as a change of pace. Fine either way.
Almost didn't recognize you😂
You look great without a beard too!
What's wrong with RHD, seems perfectly normal from this side of the pond Other than that excellent video - shame about the beard!

Thanks Christopher! Looking forward to seeing you in the live chat!
I’m glad your experience with this car was better than you expected, Elliott! Good video!

Why is this video mono? one of the audio channels is missing
You shaved and everything!!!! That's a good look.
At least it's turbo! But, man, those old Toyota 4 speed and 5 speeds and the antithesis of sporty.

Haha good points thdre Mitchell!

Oh for sure, manuals are the way to go in these cars. But I’ve always been curious about the automatics!
@@ElliottAlvis I certainly wouldn't have passed up a chance to drive it!
Right hand drive is a no for me. Still a cool car.
It’s different and awkward for sure. But fun!
I don't even think Hoovie has a camera man. You're special.. Lol
Where did the beard go?
It was an accidental shave. Trying to grow it back by Saturday! 😂
Shout out to my guy Elliott here being a cool normal dad and still having an opportunity to experience legendary rides. Thanks for the content my guy

As a 90 Suira owner myself. I DO want a RHD Supra but the automatic yea and eww😒
Omg, I’ve been off the channel for awhile. I didn’t know he had that much grey hair!

This is probably the cheapest way to acquire one.
Nothing wrong wit RHD Elliott 😲
That's a fine car. I have never seen one before.
channel out of left side only
Who's that guy? 🙃
Ahh what a great car !
No audio ??
