The music scene would have been much different today if Lynn was still with us today. RIP Lynn. -Sad Air.
yeah Snot was meant to be legendary
And rip dobbs 😢
And rip dobbs 😢
They would have broken up probably.
@@Hated123gonuh uh
The fact that most of the Nu metal singers showed love and recorded with the band for Lynn shows that he’s definitely the prince of the greatest genre
Amen to what you said about Lynn, and about nu-metal being the greatest genre
Snot played an important role in the early days of what would become 'nu-metal'. They were one of the many heavy funk metal bands (along with Incubus, Powerman 5000, Korn, Sugar Ray) to evolve into the nu-metal sound.
Slipknot also did a bit of that with earlier songs like do nothing/bitchslap and confessions
I also see snot as a huge influence with a lot of heavy hardcore punk sound in nu metal. I really do think they perfected that punk sound
Sugar Ray contains exactly zero metals and you forgot the most important Funk/Metal bands- Infectious Grooves and Mr Bungle.

I got this album when I was like 11 years old, and it was great..I thought Serj and Sevendust did a great job, as well as ALL of the artists on this album. R.I.P Lynn
i need this album and the snot one
dang, Jon Davis in his prime killin it in the vocal booth.
Even this behind the scenes documentary was released before I even heard of the band. Man I missed out big time, their energy level look out of this world - would roundhouse kick a line of nuns to have seen them live! :(
i just met them this year i remember listening to some snot songs and i said maybe they are a band that is starting their sound is fucking good how could it be i haven't heard it before, I hope I can see them live at some point it would be great and then I already found the strait up album what a sad man
I was very lucky to have seen snot nine times and also hang out with Lynn on numerous occasions. They really were f****** awesome.
God that album was so amazing. Snot is the most underrated band from that era
Deadfall, the song.... made me a huge fan of this band!! Lynn's vocal range was unreal. Kill you with the scream tones, then mellow you out with those jazzy type funk tones. Damn shame, what a talent he was. The good ones always go first.
Mi vida pasa por mi mente y mis memorias !! Gracias Lynn por tu energia entregada
Now you are free, free to roam in the sky. Now and then visit me with your starlit eyes.
Lynn is/was literally one of the HOTTEST men EVER to have graced a mic. Rock music as we know it would be different if he was still here
This album is still awesome, if you still haven't heard it, pick it up!
cephun gonna buy the cool cd at my local warehouse store

from when Corey Taylor's face wasn't publicly known, hehehe, love the bandana look!!! RIP, Lynn, we still miss ya

SNOT IS BACK. Andy Knapp and the boys continue to carry on. 2025 Is ready for SNOT💯💯💯🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
I saw Snot open for Machine Head in St Pete 2 months before he passed they fuckin killed it. He stood next to me during Machine Head's set. He seemed very nice. Would have loved to see him again. #fucktherecord #fuckthepeople
I don't wanna cry this early in the day
At the 3:44 mark there seems to be a video of the song Unplugged. Has anyone ever seen this before?
R.I.P. Lynn and Dubbs 🤘🏻😞
People just have to have some deeper connection on a level that is yet to be explained. When Maryanne Strait said "I just knew" I absolutely believed her, because I made the same experience when my father died. My brother called to tell me and the very second the phone rang I swear to god, I JUST KNEW before even picking up.
Back when Corey/Slipknot didnt reveal their identity, they were gonna go in a gwar nd kiss type thing but i feel like it lasted 4 years nd than Corey did Stone Sour - bother video. they prob had to pay him a shit ton to basically waste the ambiguity of the band
I believe Get inside was their first music video.
R.I.P Lynn Strait God of Nu Metal✊✊✊
My favorite album
I was just getting into this genre at 13yrs old at the time. I love all these bands but can't believe I never heard of Snot. The Get Some album cover looks familiar tho... Anyways, what a fantastic band and so sad that Lynn and Snot didn't get to reach their full potential :(
Cool video R.I.P LYNN
Happy 54th Birthday Lynn
How come every Snot video I watch the audio is only in one speaker haha
love Lynn
Damn, Ozzy a the end. That was fucking sad
PFF Justin Bieber did not like this video... SNOT FUCKING RULES!! R.I.P. Lynn
Roberto Pérez Fucking justin bieber!
Worst day of my life when he died i miss him so much
Lynn strait's voice reminds me of rage against the machine's singer
His name is Zach de la Rocha. And yeah, Lynn kinda does sound like Zach. I miss him. R.I.P. Lynn & Dobbs
I think his voice remembers Wayne Static of Static-X.
RIP both Lynn and Wayne.
I mean not bashin ya or anythin but to me Lynn sounds like Lynn lol i mean sure i guess they mite have similarities and how both Snot and RATM were both against the governments bullshit or whatever ya know what i mean ?
The way max screamed peace😂

I wish i couldve been there i was 3 when he died :(
Ozzy the angel of death.
I have the Album Strait Up right here in my shelf. The only thing I dislike on that album is Fred Durst defiling it... sorry guys.
Well both of their debut albums were released the same year and they did tour together during Ozzfest the following year but Fred Durst blew up into a pop star so him and Mark McGrath give it kind of a commercial vibe. Both of their tracks are the worst on the album in my opinion.
@@brianross3494 sad to say when u say commercial vibe makes seem like they weren't all close friends n shit lol
I mean to each their own, freds a douche yeah but I like a lil bit of limp triscuit every now n then he cracks me tf up more than anything and some the guitar riffs are heavy and groovy 🤷♂️
His friend defiled it?
The video says "All his friends and idols, people he looked up to"
The "cool hatred" of Fred Durst - knock that shit off, fool.

Would loved to hang around back stage with Lynn, Fred and Mark McGrath and just catch all the run off
Why was Lynn so influential?
Because he was well loved and highly respected in the scene. He was a pillar of support for others.
Unique talent, man. No other vocalist has ever sounded like Lynn and who knows if anybody ever will
Lynn had a powerful stage presence -- a magnetism like nothing I'd seen before. He had so much energy, and this unique way of dancing that was cool and funny at the same time. He was everywhere on the stage, as if he was about to escape. I couldnt take my eyes off of him.
In one word: charisma
Its crazy but I'm seeing way too many similarities between Lynn and Mitch*Suicide Silence*. From the documentary to the tribute show even to so much respect that other artists had for them. RIP Lynn and Mitch.
And Chino Moreno?
He belonged on the album but he said due to his touring schedule that he wasn't able to perform on the album. Same with the singer from Ultraspank.
