    Thanks for showing how to adjust for “blade drift” and squaring the cut to the fence. Very intelligent design in being able to adjust your fence. This is very helpful for a newish bandsaw owner doing resawing.

    By far this is the best home build of a bandsaw I have seen!
    A pleasure to watch.
    I noticed when you ran the resaw blade you can hear the weld skipping when it passes over the thrust bearing, this can be fixed by using a sharpening stone. While the blade is running press the stone against the back edge of the blade, this will grind it smooth.
    Keep the videos coming please :)

    This little band saw has turned out to be the best tool purchase I've ever made ruclips.net/user/postUgkx5ZrqmYO2uJq_nuU8TopyWxVzn8vqmPUL Once doing the set-up as per the included suggestions, this table top tool has been my go-to saw ever since (8 months as of this review). There are few things I wouldn't attempt with this saw. It takes up much less space than my table saw yet delivers twice as much punch. I've used it to create slices of wood no thicker than an 1/16th of inch by using the POWERTEC BS900RF Rip Fence. For small shop projects this tool can't be beat.

      Sounds like the weld in the blade running over the wheels or past the guides. Nothing to worry about, you can hear it on some blades more than others, usually nothing to do with the saw.

  • @hanbatista
    @hanbatista 6 лет назад +1

    Hey.... Creo que el método que utilizaste para confirmar paralelismo está mal... cómo te aseguras que no giraste levemente la madera que cortaste antes de soltarla? Quizá lo mejor sería hacerla paralela con la guía de aluminio que instalaste previamente, ya que SE SUPONE que esa guía está a escuadra con el corte de la sierra.... Haz algunos experimentos primero con ella para confirmar. puedes tomar un pedazo de Plywood y cortar un borde, luego girar y usar ese borde cortado como referencia y cortar de nuevo y repetir el proceso unas cuantas veces. eso hará que si NO está a escuadra, el ángulo que tenga distinto a 90º se vaya sumando y así puedes apreciarlo mejor con alguna escuadra real.

    • @Paoson_Woodworking
      @Paoson_Woodworking  6 лет назад +3

      hola Hanlly, no es fácil alinear este tipo de sierras, pero el método que siempre he usado y he visto usar es este. Eso sI, la línea debe estar perfectamente paralela al borde, y no debes mover la pieza mientras la sujetas con las torniquetas. Gracias por compartir tus ideas!
