- I was hoping to give a good idea of the incredible tone of a National. I stole tidbits from Elmore James, Skip James, and Fred McDowell for displaying what this instrument can make someone sound like, so I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
Nice playing. I can tell you mean it. Soulful.

great job!
Better late than never...just found the video...Enjoyed it a lot! Does your Triolian have it's original cone in it still? How long you been playing slide when you made this video? Nicely done! Thanks a Lot!
Hey, I have not used this account in a long while. You got lucky! This guitar does have the original cone. I had been playing slide for 3 or 4 years here. Thanks for the compliments! I appreciate it!
Sounds great! Can you tell me what strings you use?
R. dB I don't remember what I had here. I currently use elixirs. The mellowest set I could find. 13s tuned to open C#. Same as open D

sounds awesome young man!!!!! does your 1930 triolian have the original cone in it???
Yes it does. Its a closet queen.
Although the neck is bowed and the biscuit was shaved, it doesn't have much wear anywhere, including the cone.
