    Would it work the same with 2 pizza stones instead?

      That will not work nearly as well as One Baking Steel. A Baking Steel is 20X heat capacity of a stone....huge difference.

    The problem with my electric oven is when my broiler turns off. I like the idea of setting the oven to 450 rather than 500 degrees. What's your tip for keeping the broiler on. I love the bubbles on the pizza.

      it should stay on for a minute or two as it cycles. that should be enough time. just keep a close eye on it...

    What if your oven doesn’t have a top broiler..what do you recommend?

      Put one steel in the broiler section and the other steel in the oven

      you don't need a broiler, it just helps cook faster. you can always place just your pizza under the broiler for the 30-60 seconds after it bakes.
