I know I'm a year late to the party, but I made this last night, followed the recipe exactly (even did the dance after putting in the oven 😂). And OMG! So good! I have made homemade pizza (with my pizza stone) many times and didn't really like the results. You're a culinary genius!
Laura, you helped me become the cook I am today. I’ve been watching your videos since 2013 when I moved out on my own. I stun my boyfriend, friends and family and the credit goes to you. You’re the realest person who has the best recipes and are so detailed. Thank you 💜
hi laura i really love all your recipes im 83 and still like to try others recipes and you are my favorite you explain everything and make it look so easy and dont use ingredients we never have in our homes .i make you cookies every xmass
Ok ! I wrote down Laura's pizza dough recipe from many years ago into my personal recipe book - because it works. Then i also wrote down her parbake pizza instructions- because they work! And today i see this!! I know it's gonna work! I also have a new pizza paddle, so I'm ready! Love you Laura!! ❤ Thank you !
i dont know exactly when. but it was def 10+ years ago. i started following this channel because i wanted to learn how to stretch pizza dough properly and found one of your vids on how to make pizza. ever since then ive been a subscriber. that video helped me become a proper pizza maker. even made some for parties. so for anyone who stumbles on this video to help begin their pizza making journey you wont be disappointed
We make pizza most Fridays. When my kids were little they loved to put on their own toppings. The girls are grown now and live far away, but my son has moved home, so we still do it.
Laura, your pizza literally looks like you just picked it up from a restaurant. Beautiful!! and I loved how Joe threw that picture in the end of you at Papa Sal's restaurant! great job!!🍕🍕🍕
Back in the 70’s , a friend of mine and I wandered into a small Italian restaurant in, then, West Berlin. We were kind of sick of German food and kind of homesick. Although rather skeptical, we ordered pizza, as I said, we were homesick. I’ve had pizza in NewYork, Chicago, Detroit, Rome, but that pizza in Berlin was the best I ever tasted.
I like this a lot - how to make the dough especially. My personal changes - oregano in the tomato sauce (I always miss it when it isn't there) and possibly less or no sugar. I also prefer the sauce spread as close to the edges of the pizza dough as possible... I tend to not want to eat the edges without pizza atop.
I have been watching you since I was 17 I am now 31 ❤❤❤❤ this recipe is one of my favorites along with you cinnamon rolls and your eggplant Parmesan and many many more 💕
If you have a programmable instant pot, set it to 105 and let the dough ball rise in the instant pot. You can use the glass lid too if you have one. Definitely oil it as shown in the video.
6:39 the 'Pilot light' actually refers to a tiny flame in many gas stoves/ranges (and gas boilers/water heaters) that is kept on/burning 24/7: a) to light the gas burner without the clickety-clack sound b) i believe it also relieves pressure build-up so that your gas pipes don't explode
Love her Technique ❤️ Born a Raised in world Fanous Bensonhurst Brooklyn NYC we take our pizza very seriously. I make it close to hers. But if you have a connection at your local Pizza spot and cannot make your own. Buy it from them saves a lot of time. Saice wise always use the BEST! San Marzano even if your making a Italian Meat or Macaroni dish with a red Sauce.
Thank you so so much for this video.. i bought a pizza stone and a paddle 2 years ago and haven’t used it once.. i haven't even unpacked my pizza stone.. but now i definitely have to break into it!!
ok , an update , this Pizza Dough is amazing and i have to thank Laura for this , if you use the SAF instant Premium yeast you will end up with a great pizza even if you think you failed , Now i can make pizza knowing i won't be throwing money away
My favorite pizza is tomato slices mushrooms Italian sausage green olives and extra cheese. I dont onow what you call it but that my favorite. Every time I have pizza that's what I put. ❤
What should we do with the dough if we made enough for several pizzas but we can only bake one pizza at a time? Cause you mentioned that your second dough got a little warm. So is that bad?
Great Video! My brother made a pizza 🍕 at the house! Now I need to purchase a Pizza Stone, Pizza Peal and a Dough Mixer! Peace ✌️ and Love 💝 from Tucson Arizona Desert 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
This is the BEST pizza dough recipe I have ever made or had in my entire life. WOW Laura! You out did yourself. As a huge fan who has made over 200 (yes, 200) of your recipes, this is the best one ever! Thank you for teaching me how to cook!
ok i just made this dough and followed the recipe to the letter and bought the same yeast , my mixer is a little different i have the 6 quart pro but i also have the 5 quart pro and maybe i should have used it instead and my dough did not not come out like Laura's and maybe it's the apron !!! need to see if she sells that same apron lol
just a tip too... if you want a darker crust, without over doing the top, finish in a cast iron skillet, on top of the stove. The direct heat, gives it a super crispy crust.
I’ve been struggling with finding a good pizza dough recipe… and this is it!!!! I bought that yeast Laura recommended and used her recipe and wow wow wow!! I love it! Thanks Laura
Hey Laura. In your old video that I go by. You incorporated two Tbs of olive oil into the bowl of dry mix. Now the only oil that your using is coating the inside of the mixer bowl which I doubt is two Tbs. Also, now your cooking the sauce ? I'm assuming that the out comes are the same..
Thank you for this video!! Every time I try to make pizza, it's a flop! I have tried so many different videos!! I sure hope I get this one to work!! The pizza looks amazing!! Thank you again!!! 🤗
Good morning Laura, I made this recipe and the pizza was beautiful, tasty, I had so much fun shaping the dough, I did apply toppings, my crust did rise so nicely, however the bottom was tough and hard to bite through, what did I do wrong? I did use a pizza stone.
Laura, can you tell me in grams what 4 cups of all purpose flour is! It's very confusing cause on the internet, there is a lot a different information about that! Or what's your method of mesuring your 4 cups ?
Hey Laura, The link to this " majical " yeast that you attached d oes not open. Can you tell me the name of the yeast or send me a new link please? Thanks for any consideration!
I cannot believe it's been 10 years; you looks better than every. May I ask, can your yeast be substituted for active dry yeast? Thanks for all you do!
First I'd like to say, you make great videos. But I have a question: I watched your video on making NY Style Pizza and you said to put the pizza stone (or steel) on the top rack of the oven. Here, you say bottom rack. Is it b/c these are 2 different styles of pizza?
I know I'm a year late to the party, but I made this last night, followed the recipe exactly (even did the dance after putting in the oven 😂). And OMG! So good! I have made homemade pizza (with my pizza stone) many times and didn't really like the results. You're a culinary genius!
I've been using your recipe for years. I also use it for making my stuffed buns, which are always a hit. Thanks for sharing this easy recipe.
Laura, you helped me become the cook I am today. I’ve been watching your videos since 2013 when I moved out on my own. I stun my boyfriend, friends and family and the credit goes to you. You’re the realest person who has the best recipes and are so detailed. Thank you 💜

The "because my father would disown me" and "imma have to sleep with the chickens" 😂😂😂
Ok ! I wrote down Laura's pizza dough recipe from many years ago into my personal recipe book - because it works. Then i also wrote down her parbake pizza instructions- because they work! Laura you're the ONLY reason I am considered a good cook in my home. Thank you again for a great recipe! Can't wait to try

Your non-cooked pizza sauce is still my go-to, I just love it.
I’m glad you remade this, I always go back and watch the video from 10 years ago.
I think this was the first video of yours that I saw. I've been obsessed with this channel since!
Oh my heart!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Laura, your pizza literally looks like you just picked it up from a restaurant. Beautiful!! and I loved how Joe threw that picture in the end of you at Papa Sal's restaurant! great job!!🍕🍕🍕
Can’t see if there is any difference as compared with restaurants. Your cooked pizza looks very delicious ! Thank you for your beautiful video!
Yum!
Favorite is that pizza that has the basil leaves, huge slices of tomato and mozzarella!
🤩
It’s so good!!

Back in the 70’s , a friend of mine and I wandered into a small Italian restaurant in, then, West Berlin. We were kind of sick of German food and kind of homesick. Also.. that pizza dough looks like the most perfect pizza dough I’ve ever seen! You go, Laura! 💕
I've been using your pizza dough for years. It's the only one I know how to make, but I love it!
Hurricane Hilary here in Southern California. Stuck at home with hubby and kids . Heavy rain , watching Laura and making this pizza today ❤❤❤
Hope you all are safe. ❤

I don’t even like cooking, but LOVE watching your love for cooking ❤
I cook you turkey every year and everyone loves it. You are awesome!

I make homemade pizza all most every week. So GOOD!!!
Thanks Laura. I tried the 10 year pizza recipe and its a hit. Thanks Laura

My kids and I watch you before going to bed. It's our favorite thing to do❤️❤️

My sister and her husband have an actual pizza oven and are always open to trying new recipes! We're definitely trying this one! 🤤
I love making your pizza I use 2 large cast iron skellets since I do not have a pizza stone. They come out the same
My favorite pizza is tomato slices mushrooms Italian sausage green olives and extra cheese. I dont onow what you call it but that my favorite. Every time I have pizza that's what I put. ❤
You remind me of Barbara Streisand. :) Thanks for the tips on pizza. I will start making my pizzas your way.
Very nice recipe.thanks I will try.God bless you
Beautiful pizza and very clear instructions
Thank you Laura ! You are game changer love love your videos watching them past 8yrs
very nice kitchen set!
What should we do with the dough if we made enough for several pizzas but we can only bake one pizza at a time? Cause you mentioned that your second dough got a little warm. So is that bad?
That pizza slicer ...sooo close to your fingers 😮..looks yummy. I'm. Making one now
You are such an expert! Love that throwback photo at the end
Great Video! My brother made a pizza 🍕 at the house! Now I need to purchase a Pizza Stone, Pizza Peal and a Dough Mixer! Peace ✌️ and Love 💝 from Tucson Arizona Desert 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I make pizza too...I just don't have what you have in the oven. LOOOOOOVE watching you cook...You have a great time in the kitchen👍💖😁🤗❤️💗♥️
Lovely dough. Thank you for sharing I love it.
This is the BEST pizza dough recipe I have ever made or had in my entire life. WOW Laura! You out did yourself. As a huge fan who has made over 200 (yes, 200) of your recipes, this is the best one ever! Thank you for teaching me how to cook!
I love how detailed and thorough this is with Laura walking us through this - plus, she's just so adorable! 🥰
ok i just made this dough and followed the recipe to the letter and bought the same yeast , my mixer is a little different i have the 6 quart pro but i also have the 5 quart pro and maybe i should have used it instead and my dough did not not come out like Laura's and maybe it's the apron !!! need to see if she sells that same apron lol
I always like making my own pizza. Very rarely I'll buy a whole pizza but if the restaurant has slices I'll get that with a side & drink
No olive oil? I never heard of a recipe without it. The original recipe you did like in 2011 had it I’m curious
We made this today and it was delicious. Better than last recipe ♥️
I paint the dough with olive oil before putting on the sauce. This keeps the dough from getting soggy. I like a lot of sauce.
Can't believe it's been 10 years. Will add this to my list.😋
Hi Laura! I was wondering if you could make a video on making a Biga for your pizza dough I would love your take on this. Keep up the great work ! 🙏
I just tried your pizza crust. It came out great. Thanks
Pizza looks delicious! Also I love your kitchen and wanted to know if you can please share the cabinet color?
My favorite food of ALL TIME!!!❤🍕 THE BEST!!!
Blessings Laura I’m going to get the yeast yum I can taste the pizza already.😊
Thank you for the ingredients and measurements ❤ Godbless you and your family🙏
Wow! Such detailed explanation! Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE your videos Laura!!
Thank you for sharing! This will be a great snow day project with the Grands! 🍕🍕
14:43 It’s the song and dance for me. ❤@ Laura!!!
I’ve used the recipe & it’s chef kiss good.
I made this tonight and it did not disappoint!! I lived in Napoli for 4 years and I never made homemade pizza 🙃
just a tip too... if you want a darker crust, without over doing the top, finish in a cast iron skillet, on top of the stove. The direct heat, gives it a super crispy crust.
Wow, that’s absolutely stunning! 🤌❤️ Thank you so much for sharing all your amazing tips! You’re simply the best!
I’ve been struggling with finding a good pizza dough recipe… and this is it!!!! I bought that yeast Laura recommended and used her recipe and wow wow wow!! I love it! Thanks Laura
Make your recipe every weekend! Absolutely the best!!! ❤️🍁
Laura i just started following you and i love all your videos!💜
I can't find the link to the yeast you use❗Would you tell me where to look❓❓Thank you!! 😘
Fantastic! But what is the teperature in the oven? Please, anybody see? I keep missing it
The best Pizza Sauce is Pastorelli. By far. Tomatoes, olive oil, pecarino romano. Try it.
4 cups of All Purpose Flour, plus 1 Tbsp
really 1 tbs? interesting it would make a difference. but ur the boss. im going to try this one too
Yup! That one Tbsp helps pull it from the sides of the bowl, I promise it works!
I do have to add that I used 2 cups of 00 flour and 2 cups of all purpose flour instead of 4 cups of all purpose. The dough was heaven to work with.
Hey Laura. In your old video that I go by. You incorporated two Tbs of olive oil into the bowl of dry mix. Now the only oil that your using is coating the inside of the mixer bowl which I doubt is two Tbs. Also, now your cooking the sauce ? I'm assuming that the out comes are the same..
Can I make multiple doughs and freeze it?
If so, how long do I take it out before using? And does it still raise after?
Thank you for this video!! Every time I try to make pizza, it's a flop! I have tried so many different videos!! I sure hope I get this one to work!! The pizza looks amazing!! Thank you again!!! 🤗
Looks so delicious 😊. I will be trying this recipe. Thank you for all your videos😊
If I want to make only one pizza do I cut everything in half? What about the yeast?
Awesome video! Pizza looks very good!
❤ hello from Canada. 🇨🇦
Good morning Laura, I made this recipe and the pizza was beautiful, tasty, I had so much fun shaping the dough, I did apply toppings, my crust did rise so nicely, however the bottom was tough and hard to bite through, what did I do wrong? I did use a pizza stone.
Maybe because she forgot the olive oil?
Anyone know the brand of instant yeast that Laura recommends in the video?
that's what I am looking for, she said she will link it in the description below the video I guess she forgot 😂
Laura, can you tell me in grams what 4 cups of all purpose flour is! It's very confusing cause on the internet, there is a lot a different information about that! Or what's your method of mesuring your 4 cups ?
When you were tossing the dough, it reminded of a I Love Lucy episode when she was doing the same thing. 😂 I will have to make some. 😊
Hi Laura,
What is the name of yeast. I tried clicking on link and not working
Hey Laura, The link to this " majical " yeast that you attached d oes not open. Can you tell me the name of the yeast or send me a new link please? Thanks for any consideration!
Like always great video and good food. God bless your family and yourself.
what does she add at the very end? Some kind of little bottle?
Do you have a demo for Grandma (sheet pan) pizza? Other pizza makers recommend using bread dough for grandma style.
I cannot believe it's been 10 years; you looks better than every. May I ask, can your yeast be substituted for active dry yeast? Thanks for all you do!
How about if we want to use active dry yeast? Do we put the same amount?
First I'd like to say, you make great videos. But I have a question: I watched your video on making NY Style Pizza and you said to put the pizza stone (or steel) on the top rack of the oven. Here, you say bottom rack. Is it b/c these are 2 different styles of pizza?
You never listed down in the lllist of items the kind of yeast you used could you please tell me???
