Are these backend heavy? Seems like they would be😢. I love this but hate the refills. Id rather go for original size bc it uses parker g2 style refills
Hi Scrively, I'm planning to buy a Kaweco Special and get the clip for it just like you have on these pencils. Do you know if this will scratch the pen on installation? I am a little worried about scratching a $100 brass pen. Many thanks
Sorry for another question, Scrively. Thoroughly enjoying your videos and a beautiful accent! Have you had any problems with the "Special Kaweco" having a very small grip section? Does the grip section come undone when trying to open the cap due to the the threads being the same way? Many thanks again, Max
For me personally, the Special is too thin to use as a main pen over a longer period of time. Using it as one of many other pens here and there or only for a few notes here and there would likely be fine. But that totally depends on your hand size, your grip, what you find to be comfortable, and what you want to use the pen for.
Awesome review, thanks for the video! Planning on purchasing that BP but full size. Btw, I'm convinced the model is called "Special" (as in: English pronunciation), if it was meant as German it would say "Spezial."
They do offer a special fountain pen. It either comes in black (just like these) or brass (which is also available for the ballpoint and the mechanical pencil). :) There is also a black special dip pen, which I want to get. I personally enjoy the Kaweco Supra very much! :D

Not really backheavy, no
Do I need to buy Kaweco refillable erasers for this or can I any other general erasers with the diameter?

No scratches happened on my copy
Thanks for review. I wonder what is the maximum length of lead that can be inserted into this pencil.
The normal lead refills fit
Your presentation is great! I bought the same one as you. Thank you very much. With love from Japan☺️
Much love right back! :)
Great review. Thanks! I just ordered the set as a result.
Can I ask which pouch it is? I couldn’t find one specifically for the special models
Could it be the one for the Sport then?
@@Scrivelynotes looks like it. Thanks!
Does the surface have enough texture? how do you do with sweaty hands? is it slippery?
Carlos Arzate not slippery for me personally - but my hands normally also don’t get very sweaty
@@Scrivelynotes Thank you
Very nice review, thank you. The long version of the Special is also available as a fountain pen.
Yes, true. Even as brass, as far as I remember. Thanks for the kind comment!

Good point with the pronunciation. Make sense.
Yes they also tell me I'm special when they see my mini size.....😢
