Very good review. It looks like we share some trait, we like mechanical pencils, will try every option, and Want.best. I have a.fisher space pen, which I consider the ultimate travel ballpoint. I'm surprised I can't find a Somalia's item in mechanical pencil. Again watched video loved it

There is an 0.7 and an 0.9 mm version. I guess the mechanism is also plastic, but I don't own them, so can't check.

You missed explanation of cap of 2mm kaweco pencil. I just want to know whether 2mm cap can also be used with 0.5mm model.
Well, the Rotring rapid Pro (and the 600, I presume) is made of brass, but the paint comes for free.
