I love the new set up. Pink is my favorite color, but blue is nice.

That’s awesome, would have been cool to hear about the different colours too though. I’m so excited to make it this weekend.

Lovely fabric and useful project, I like the blue but would be great if the pink was in the stash builder :) Got to say even as an onlooker I like the changes and adore the tags. Nice box of excitement 💖 😺

Yeah, it’s a great project. I’ve been super impressed with their projects this year. Those tags are super cool too! I glazed over them in the unboxing but when I sat down a paid closer attention I noticed just how nice they are.

What a great project! Pretty fabric, lots of pockets/card slots, sturdy D-rings, nice little accent with the faux suede, and a useful, attractive item when you're done. The instructions looked overwhelming at first glance, and then upon closer inspection you can tell they *really* broke up the steps into bite-sized bits. For example, they've listed the zipper tabs as six steps which is great if you've never made them before, whereas to an experience sewist it's a simple "cut fabric to (dimensions); form into tabs and attach zipper." So I think it's going to be less complicated than it seems. Having the pieces' dimensions printed on the templates gets a thumbs up for sure, and it's a bonus that they sent the full four-pack of D-rings rather than just the single one needed to make the wallet.
As for the color, I prefer blue over pink, but if I had my druthers they would have sent either green, or a deep wine-red. They have sent a lot of blue lately, though, so yeah pink would have made a nice change. I do like the print, and that blue thread is ::chef's kiss:: And it matches the fabric so well! All in all, I really love this one and as always, am looking forward to seeing the finished project on the 24th.

I thought you’d like it! I watched the video and it seems pretty straightforward too. So the project itself is inline with some of the more complicated projects but the instructions break it down very thoroughly. I’m looking forward to making it! A deep wine would be beautiful, I enjoy blue but hope we move away from it next month.
