    Coach you nailed it when you described the tattooed sleeved, tight shirt weight-room strength/conditioning guy. The dogma that it is where champions and championships are won? Without real data or sustained research. It is what we have always done. So by default it is the truth and never to be questioned!! Said it millions of times if you have never been a part of a state championship or championship program what is the culture? The “family?” The process? That is supposed to emulate those successes and programs that 90% of the Coaches have never been a part of!?!?!? 😂😂😂😂

    Hey coach, i'm in love with your channel. Could you adress how combine the weightroom and sprint/CNS days? As you say, run fast, lift heavy, jumb high and far and bounce. I play rugby and seeing youre a football coach this would help inmensely

      If you don’t “burn the steak” you have lots of flexibility lifting. Best time to do it would be after speed workouts.

    Hey coach, curious to know your opinion on over speed training?

      Love it. But not downhill. Huge fan of overspeed with light pull from 1080 Sprint (but can’t afford it). My favorite… WIND.

    Please answer my question about speed endurance or what you like to call lactate training: specifically for my workout, can i do 3 x 120-150m with max intent and 8minutes rest after each sprint to build lactate/lactic tolerance for the 200m? Or something different? I would love to hear tou insignt.

    What is the interval between 5y flies into 10y wickets?

    • @coachtonyholler
      @coachtonyholler  9 месяцев назад +1

      With just a 5 yard run-in, I put wickets at 5’ intervals.
