Dude Sonic Unleashed did not need to look that pretty but i'm glad it did. The quality of those cutscenes is still god tier in comparison to most recent games.
Unleashed supposed to be the last Sonic game, because of 06. So they tried their best to make it good

I gotta say, Excalibur Sonic is my favorite transformation, and form in general. Sure, a knight isn't very fitting for sonic, but SATBK sure as hell made it work.

Bro..Sonic Unleashed was a Gem of a game, i'm sorry.
The detail on his fur, the lighting, and the overall transformation was WAY ahead of it's time.
Even the little movie with the two ghosts and chip was AMAZING.
They really should make a Sonic Unleashed 2. That would be epic. This game is underrated af.

Ok the way sonic games are going ever since unleashed, making a unleashed 2 would mean that Sega would mess up one thing, and it will most likely be a disappointment, but hopefully not

Besides wanting to see hyper sonic, I would also wanna see Dark sonic. Yes, I know the reason behind that transformation, but you'd have to agree it's still a cool one none the less.

That transformation in 06 when Sonic walking up to Shadow and Silver is still dope! Shadow knew what was going down and Silver looked confused at first yet willing. Plus Silver optimism during the End of the World and how he drew everyone attention and resolve that there still a chance.(something I notice Blaze helped him with during a cutscene) was great build up for me.😁✊
So glad 06 isn’t canon completely ruined blaze

Now that I'm thinking about it, I realize that the closest thing we last had to alternate super forms (by that I mean super forms aside from Super or Hyper Sonic), ever since The Secret Ring and The Black Knight, was the Wisps in Colors, literally more than a decade ago. Let it sink in.
After that, it's been nothing but Super Sonic, and sometimes just as a side unlockable or even a DLC (looking at you Forces). And I could've been fine with it if it was used/depicted more impactfully and memorably, like in all the games from the Adventure series all the way up to Unleashed (or let's say to Generations if we really wanna be generous and push it)
I wish we got to see the return of Excalibur sonic. By far the best transformation

*Things that I want to see in Future Sonic Games (New games or continuation of a game or returning forms or all):*
*1)Darkspine Sonic (Full power/All World rings):* we only have seen Darkspine Sonic with only 3 World Rings, could be cool if they bring him back but with all World Rings under his control to make him *The God Of The Rings* (...very DBZ, right?).
*2) Hyper Sonic:* lets be honest, Hyper is very OP, they could bring him back by just making the rainbow colors of Hyper slower (to avoid Epilepsy moments) or make a rainbow aura over a bright white Sonic (like Zamasu's aura but on Sonic).
*3)Escalibur Sonic:* honestly, Escalibur Sonic is OK for me, by bringing him back would be fine... But in which Knight story he has to fall in...?
*4)Werehog Sonic:* ...cant leave this list with only 3 forms, just adding him cuz I like Werehog Sonic... But not the levels (like everyone who had read this in some point... *COUGH* Skyscraper level *COUGH* )... Could be fine if only Dark Gaia resurrect again as so as Chip.
Note: NOT. ADDING. CLASSIC. SONIC... we all love him but in his respective place, it was fine when he was in Generations, but not fine in Forces, but perfect in Mania, soooo... Mania 2... Plz? Never happening... Maybe, but never, it breaks my heart just saying it.
I like the werehog form but by the levels so maybe a Sonic Unleashed 2 and Mania 2

If all games had the cutscene quality of unleashed it would make the cutscenes 10x better tbh. Although colors can keep it’s quality, can’t add to perfection (by colors I mean the intro scene)
My guy made the strongest form of all last like 3 seconds, I know it's not much of a transformation sequence because it's an older game but atleast show it for a bit longer so that we can realize that it's Hyper Sonic. That form is so underrated, it's probably my favorite along with Super.

Man, its sad to see how sonic has progressed now, back in the past he wouldnt crack a joke every 30 seconds. Sonic was serious when Jason voiced him in adventure and 06 and unleashed, with rogers sonic is just cracking puns and jokes and having a lack of seriousness. Im just losing hope at this point for sonic, and its alot for me from me being an 11 year old sonic fan, the idws are better than the main games. Heck even the fangames are better than Segas failure of Sonic colors ultimate, its a complete mystery on either if segas going to have a spectacular comeback with rangers just like how they gave a comebsck from 06 with unleashed. Or my hope is lost and Sega will create another game that will fail to bring nostalgia and entertainment, theres so much potential. Maybe a recall to some other forms or a return of chips bracelet, honestly I just really hope Sega wont fail

4:51 - Honestly, I think this is the best transformation in the entire franchise. Not only does Jason Griffith provide an AMAZING scream of pain (made even better by the scream Jun'ichi Kanemaru did echoing in the background), but this is fresh of Sonic experiencing the loss of a dear friend… something that PISSED HIM OFF. And it all culminates in the strongest transformation in the FRANCHISE.
